I ordered my food through Grubhub. I ordered Biscoff cheesecake, they gave me a piece of Walmart cake as opposed to my Biscoff cheesecake. It smelled so yummy and I was very happy with the portion size and flavor. The food is always fresh, hot, and well seasoned. The catfish were amazing, not greasy at all. I didn't have to ask for condiments because they were already in the bag along with napkins and utensils. I will be back to try more of the menu! A friend of mine recommended I try Miami Grill. I was in the area so I gave them a try. I ordered the steak potato bowl, hot wings and lemon pepper wings. The steak bowl could use more flavor and a different option for sauce other than steak sauce. The wings could also use a little more flavor. I wasn't impressed. I also didn't like that they take call in orders. They have a drive thru but you can't pull up to place your order. I had to sit out in the car on the parking lot and place my order and wait for it. I was tasked with picking up an order for my non-vegan family and they sent me here. The first time, everything went well. However, on the second trip (yesterday), things didn't go so well. We ordered the 18 piece catfish fillet again. The first time, it cost $37 total, after taxes. This time, it was $39.99, plus tax (which to be fair, is one of the prices listed on their board, along with a $50+ price for the same thing - no one seemed to know why there were 2 different prices listed.) I didn't bother to ask why I was being charged over $3 more this time. I shrugged it off. I also ordered a large order of french fries, a large fried okra, and a large order of green beans. I was happy to know that they don't put any animal products in their green beans, meaning I could eat them. (They basically tasted like canned green beans with salt & pepper added, so I'd pass on this in the future.) When the order was ready, they handed me everything in one bag. I noticed that they had put the green beans on top of the pan of fish. The pan was covered with hole-punctured foil to allow heat to escape, and I noticed that the green bean container was tilted and was spilling onto the foil. I moved the green beans away from the pan and placed them on the seat for transport. Unfortunately, when we got back to the house we noticed that the green bean juice had already seeped through the holes in the foil and most of the fish was soggy and wet - aka ruined. I did call the restaurant directly (before publicly airing my grievances) last night to advise them of what happened. They offered only an apology. They did NOT even offer to replace or remake the food that was ruined by THEIR mishap. So basically, $40 wasted, and I am beyond P.O.ed. The fried okra was good though. read more
