We hosted a surprise party for our friend on Josh's boat. To say we had an incredible time is an understatement. It was non-stop fun! Josh was an incredible host, his boat was lovely. Not sure why we didn't do this earlier. Originally when I booked it, it felt like a splurge, but after the experience, I'd say it was a great value given how much we enjoyed it.

Captain Josh was so fun! The weather was beautiful. The boat is beautiful (and safe). We went out from 1-5pm. Stopped at Angel Island and enjoyed lunch. We had two people with us that normally get sea sick, however, they were both fine even on the slightly choppy bay water. It was nice to go out on the Bay with a Captain who had personality. He was interactive, joked around and we loved learning about his past adventures and future sailing adventures. Great having a San Francisco local to guide us. Would highly recommend for a family outing, romantic trip (he does B&B trips) or corporate outings. Thank you Captain Josh for a wonderful time!

We celebrated my dad's 50th birthday on Captain Josh's boat and we couldn't have made a better choice! He was so accommodating, down to earth and engaging. He allowed us to bring our own food and beer and even had champagne available for purchase to toast the birthday guy! We did a two hour tour around the bay and he joked with my dad the whole time, we had a blast! The price was very reasonable and the boat was in excellent shape and clean. We will definitely do it again!

I booked a bay tour with Caption Josh. He called me multiple times in the two weeks leading up to the tour, making sure everything was communicated well. He allowed us to bring our own wine, beer, and snacks on board. He is a very friendly person, and was a joy to spend 2 hours out on the water with. He even let my 60 year old Mom drive the boat for a while! He has a great dog as well, who added to the fun out on the boat. You and your group will be the only people on the boat, which makes the whole tour really special. I would recommend a tour With Captain Josh to everyone I know (especially at that price!).

Best money we ever spent! My mom and I surprised my grandma (and 4 others) with a 3 hour tour on the bay to celebrate her 89th birthday. The weather was beautiful. Snacks, company and destination just right. Sail speed was smooth and went with the flow. A birthday song and additional music to top it off...it was the perfect afternoon. Most of all, Captain Josh made the trip even more special with his witty personality, knowledge of the area, and his down to earth appearance! He even brought along birthday cake for the celebration. Can't wait to go again and we're telling all of our friends. P.S. We love dogs so we were happy to find the first mate, Brody, had four legs.

Fun experience! Nice boat, tunes and easy process. Pack your own booze. Josh and his dog Broody are sweet and chill.

We boarded the boat at 5:30am and departed exactly at 6am after they checked all of our fishing licenses (so make sure you buy yours online prior to the trip). The captain and deck hands were extremely patient and non-judgmental. The bait was constantly replaced and the deck hands always helped if the hooks got tangled. We were allowed to bring our small Yeti with breakfast and drinks. There is a restroom in the boat which is kept clean and accessible. I caught a large striped bass in which I was able to get cleaned and cut to take home! The views of the city were beautiful and the surrounding areas like Alcatraz and Angel Island. For sure will be planning another trip soon

This Martha isn't very lovely. First the good - The captain…read moreis decent at finding fish, and the deckhands in general are good. The bad - The boat is older and feels a little dilapidated. The exhaust stack isn't very far above the boat and the exhaust smell sometimes down onto the deck. The price - $260 + $10 a salmon weight + tip. It can quickly add up. It gets to be as much as a seat on a six pack which has much fewer people. The ugly - the captain "Mike" has some serious anger management issues. On a previous trip he yelled at my wife and made her cry. She had never been on a party boat, she did not know the rules how how to fish around so many other anglers. On my most recent trip he was swearing at fishermen in other boats both from the deck and the PA system. Not a family friendly environment.
