I thought that maybe it was a line that had been added on because of New Year's Eve or at that the prices on the menu now reflected the 20% gratuity and no further tipping would be required. My husband sent an email to Henry's asking them to clarify what the policy was. We received a response from Jasmine "20% will be add on. It does not refer only to groups but also to each individual consumer". Sadly, we will not be going to Henry's anymore. The food is very good but the prices are already very high. Linguine Pescatora was full of seafood (shrimps, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari) in a light spicy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh (not frozen ones) and the texture of linguine was firm and chewy. Everything was irresistible. We would love to visit this restaurant and try other dishes in the near future. Once we finally received our food, it looked good, but unfortunately, the first mouthful made the lack of Greek authenticity immediately apparent. The food was extremely bland, with very little flavour, and nothing really stood out. I ordered the roast lamb, while my wife had the souvlaki combo. Both of our roasted Greek potatoes tasted like boiled potatoes that had been quickly thrown into a frying pan just to add some colour. They had absolutely no flavour, despite supposedly being seasoned with lemon and Greek spices. The rice was equally bland and had virtually no taste. There were only a few diced vegetables and a small amount of parsley sprinkled on top, seemingly more for colour than flavour. My roast lamb was tender and fell right off the bone, but it could have been seasoned much better. The tzatziki, on the other hand, had so much garlic that it was barely enjoyable to eat--the garlic was so overpowering that it almost burned in your mouth. Overall, between the bland food, lack of authentic Greek flavour, outdated and dark interior, excessive noise, and slow service, this was an unpleasant dining experience. Definitely not somewhere I would want to visit again.
