We visited Tino's based on what I saw on their menu. They are one of the few remaining pizza places that have shrimp options in their pizza! The one in particular that I ordered was the D'silva Delight. This menu item reminded me of the Mona 's smile pizza I used to order from Simpatico's Taverna from many years ago. The D'silva pizza contains spicy salami, shrimp, onions, bacon crumble, mushrooms and green peppers. I added extra toppings of shrimp and ham to tone down the spice level of the salami which hit the spot for me! The pizza arrived juicy and even better than expected. The cheese blend was just melted and the bacon crumble was moist and not dry! My family ordered the meat heads only with extra bbq chicken topping. They loved that pizza too. The only small criticism I have is with their pizza crust which was not the traditional in-house made yeast raised dough. I think with inflation and rising food costs sacrifices have to be made for a business to stay affordable. I can understand and overlook that. Besides they have been in business for more than 30 years so that means their recipes and quality have staying power. Lucky for us the owners have renewed their lease for another 5 years. I know where to visit now to get my new favorite pizza. read more

My wife and I decided to try a new pizza place than our usual spot. Ordered from here based on some of the recent reviews but was misled. If it's just about convenience, then sure try for yourself, otherwise I'd try another place. I've had gas station pizza that was much better. The wings were small and unenjoyable. One might've been partially raw. My cat enjoyed it though. Also ordered the lasagna, I've had microwavables with more flavor. The only thing I enjoyed was the can of coke to wash away the taste of the chicken wings. read more

I am quite surprised that Tino's pizza is not 5 start. However, I always get their house special, and that is where this place's pizza really shine. I guess if you are kinda timid and order a cheese or pepperoni ok. Try the house special. These guys know what they are doing. Also like the flexibiity as I order for a crew of guys and they can help out with how much to get and do half cheese and half whatever etc. Yes, can be pricey but worth it. My uncle and I live in the neighbourhood with my grandma. We love ordering the 2 pasta special. The Lasagne we order is always so good, piping hot, loads of cheese and sauce. I'm honestly quite surprised by the number of negative reviews... (I feel like they deserve a 3.5/5 at least?) Tino's would definitely fall under the category of "cheap eat" for me since their $15 (Two Medium Pastas + Garlic bread) is enough for three people and they're very generous with their cheese. I've never ordered delivery before but it seems like the negative reviews are due to the driver and not the restaurant itself? Anyways, their pizza is pretty decent but not the best I've ever had. You know what? It just keeps getting better. I was looking for a pizza and not sure if Tino's delivered to my new area and was disapointed in what those other pizza places had to offer. Now the reason why I'm giving them a 4 star cause we all know what tino's pizza is like. Some of you like and some of you are kinda meh about their pizza. I have friends that love them! However, this is not so much for their pizza but the lovely customer service I got when I called them. Those other pizza places make things too difficult and well, I'm not a millenial who doesn't like to talk to a live person, so..... I just checked out their menu and called them. Ordered what I wanted, added some extra items and done. 40 minutes and it will be here. Simple. That's how it really should be. So sorry for those other places where I had to click on this page and that just to order a pizza. At the end of a day, I'm too tired to think that much. This pizza place used to be our go to place as its is family owned and they used to make the ingredients fresh. However on our recent family feast order we ordered 3 toppings and the pizza had two small shrivelled up pieces of beef on two slices only. None of the other slices had any beef on it, our 3rd topping, on them at all. The pizza and lasagna was over cooked as well not fresh anymore like they used to be. When speaking to the brothers both refused to do anything about it. One of them said the price of everything's gone up. The other one said too bad leave a bad review then do it. Its unfortunate as I support local business, however their customer service and food quality has gone downhill. We will not be ordering here again. Go elsewhere. read more

Haven't been to Tino's in May years so while visiting family in Richmond we decided to get a few good pizza pies and a baked pasta. This was one of the many times Tino's doesn't disappoint. We got the Aloha pizza absolutely delicious, and a salami pepperoni and pepper pizza. Both were beautifully prepared and fantastic. Love how they use a doughball instead of the pizza tables. The ravioli with meat sauce was pretty good, could have used a bit more sauce but otherwise was delicious. Thank you Tino's for a great feast! read more

Two to three months ago, I ordered two lasagnas from Tino's. The one with meat sauce was ok but the marinara one was terrible. It was sour and can't be eaten. So after one bite, I called them up and complained. The owner said nonchalantly that marinara sauce is naturally like that. SOUR as there's nothing in it. That was his explanation to me. I tried to eat it but it is just impossible. I am sure other restaurants and other pizzarias would have offered to replace it as I don't think it should taste like that. His nonchalant attitude bothered me and his lack of consideraton reflects a bad image to his pizzeria. NO, not recommending the place anymore. read more

Tino's used to be the best pizza joint in town. My brother delivered for "Buddy" in the 90s and we know what Tino's is supposed to tasted like. I ordered it a year ago and it was the same as ever, delicious and perfectly greasy. Recently though, it's gone completely downhill. The crust is dry and clearly frozen, not freshly made and tossed like it should be. The ingredients are a little more sparse than their normal generous topping portions. The sauce tastes cheap. The only thing that hasn't changed is the dough ball in the middle. I can make better pizza by adding cheese and meat to a Wal Mart frozen pizza. It's sad to see Tino's go this route. I will miss this Richmond staple. read more

Had the medium lasagne to-go. Brought it home and ate about 20 minutes after picking it up. It was still piping hot and delicious. So much cheese. Been eating Tino's for over 20 years, ever since I was a little kid. They're just up the street from my mom's house, so it's super convenient. The delivery is quick and service is friendly. The pizza is not the best I've ever had, but it's good! The crust is a little thicker than I like, but the toppings are always so fresh that it kind of makes up for it! What I really love is that they are very generous with the cheese! Especially when you order feta, they really load it on. Overall, it's a family (and neighborhood) staple and definitely worth trying! Just be aware that it's definitely not the cheapest place out there. read more

Oh Tino's pizza.. how I miss you. Running Richmond Indoor Paintball, we would order countless amounts of pizza. The delivery drivers used to be regular players at our field, so of course - we had to support their joint. We tried to set up a deal with them to try and do bulk ordering on a weekly basis, but the manager really doesn't have time to make more money.. We ordered here for years, the pizza is always good. But slowly, it started tasting more and more greasy, with less care put into making them. Then the delivery started taking longer, and longer.. so we stopped ordering from them. Weather Tino's has stepped it up, I'm not sure - haven't had a pizza from Tino's in probably 6 months. I wish they would care about the customers, instead of turning a profit. read more

Tino's is one of our favorite pizza place. The dough is freshly made and is easy on the palate. The crust is not too salty and leaves a good taste on the mouth. I do not know what kind of cheese or tomato sauce they put on, but this pizza can be eaten cold. It will not leave a greasy taste nor will the cheese taste weird because it is cold. This is great if you do not want to pop it back into your oven in the morning. We normally order the Hawaiian ( now called Aloha? with chicken on it) and add anchovies on top. My wife did not want pineapple yesterday, so, we ordered the Tino's Special and added anchovies on top. I still think pineapple and anchovies are better together and I would order the Special next time without the anchovies. Other favorites are the Athenian Delight, and their seafood pizza that has shrimps and oysters on it. My kid loves the soft bread ball in the middle and I almost never get to it unless I get it from the delivery person first :) A medium size is good for 3 with a slice or two left for a quick breakfast. We also order their chicken wings and those are just as good. My wife likes their lasagna too. Tino's has been consistent in their pizza and I am surprised at the other reviews here. I will admit the staff are not always smiling but they are never rude. But I came for the food and the value is worth the trip. What brought us here years ago, was the fact that they won the 'Best of Richmond' polls conducted by the Richmond Review. They have not disappointed us since and this is our go to pizza place. We've tried a lot of other pizza places and we've stuck with only two, this place and Steveston Pizza. Among the two, I LOVE Tino's better. Parking-wise, Tino's has a lot more parking spaces because it is by the Safeway while street parking in Steveston Village is always a challenge. read more

So I left Vancouver 15 years ago to Texas and have been longing for that Greek Canadian tasting pizza. The golden crust, unique taste that reminded me of my youth eating pizza in Canada. I've travelled all over the world eating pizza in New York, Chicago, SF, Rome... but never got that taste. Staying near Vancouver airport and wanted to see if I could find the pizza. Old fashioned family owned and operated pizza joint with the same owners for almost 25 years. These guys bucked the 2 for 1 trend way back then and offered great food at good prices and customers have been coming back year after year- just like us. The pizza dough is hand made daily and the ingredients don't come in bags- it's real food and quality cheese. We all love the pizza and fight over the garlic bread. Try the Greek salad- tastes like one from the fancy Greek place at half the cost. We always order the lasagna and the pasta sauce tastes like an old family reciepe because it is! We are never disappointed and even though we have moved to Delta, at least once a month my son says its time for Tinos and hubby stops on the way home. Ordered 2 medium pizza: Flame and Spicy Thai Chicken Flame: claims to have capicollo and spicy pepperoni - this is a falsehood. Tinos does not use capicollo or spicy pepperoni. They use ham with red pepper flakes. Can they lie to the public like that??????? Spicy Thai Chicken: chicken almost non-existent on the pizza. No Thai flavours whatsoever. Crust: Frozen pre-formed crust. This is some of the worst pizza I have ever had and what gets me the most is that they are misleading on their menu. Horrible pizza.
