I'd like to say this is a good flea market but it's really hit and miss. Basically there is individual stalls set up in some of the big buildings, but most of the buildings are abandoned with nothing inside. In the summer months you can find more sellers outside with a wide variety of items for sale. I usually pass through here to find vinyl but the last few times have come up empty. Not the worst, not the best flea market. 2/5

It really saddens me to write this review…read more Mizener's is a flea market with both indoor and outdoor vendors that is open Sundays from 8 am to 4 pm. There are a number of large buildings with small vendors inside, as well as a number of transient outdoor vendors. My wife and I used to come to to the Mizener's Flea Market (and even before that my wife used to come when it was still the Circle M). There used to be a time when we would really look forward to it, and the place was always hopping with activity. These days, the place is a lot emptier than it used to be, and a number of the indoor vendors we used to frequent are gone (we bought a nice glider rocker from the older gentleman selling furniture in the back of the Willowbank building that is no longer there, for example) and it seem that one of the food vendors (again, in the Willowbank) is closed up for good. Also closed up is the Quonset Hut where we once bought a great vintage Coca Cola cooler. Despite (or maybe because of this) there are some good deals to be had if you are willing to look and haggle a bit. Flea Markets like this have always been about finding a diamond in the rough, but these days it seems Mizener's isn't what it used to be (plus, there's now a charge for admission, what's up with that?) - but we still come on occasion and buy stuff for the vendors who are still left.

I've been in twice and it was the same older man, when I asked a question about one of the items, he gave me a condescending answer- it made me feel like I shouldn't have even asked. the second time I went in it was 20 minutes until close and he closed the door on my face and said "we're closed" talk about customer service OVERALL- good finds in this place but the service ain't it

As somebody that works with first nations, i was delighted to see many totem poles and carvings but something did not seem right i asked the guy hey where do you source these from he said up north..at first I'm thinking great i love it when people support local to Canada first nations and was thinking id buy them no problem, i then said were to up north because it was likely that i know the town...he reluctantly said northern Indonesia i was wanting to yell at him right then but i do not need to be arrested. Anyway, even then i still had two items on the counter to buy and was thinking of the third item and he was looking at me saying are you going to take that and my buddy said i was tempted the guy then said well i can't help you then...So with that, i say i will just take the two items i had on the counter. I went to tap my card and he said it will not work i said that's because you have to insert for any sale over 100...He said that would not work and as i am putting the sale through he says you cant press that button i said i just did i know how it works lol my sale obviously went through he said well that usually does not work..so my response had to be i guess you need to be smarter than the machine....ill never send anybody or ever shop there again just another fraud taking advantage of the first nations people by not supporting them but buying knock offs from there culture...this is one shop that should have died in the covid era but sadly real good people with awesome customer service died instead

But that's not what I'm writing to you about -- I'm writing because shopping at your store was a great experience! ...from the moment we stepped through the door of Guff and were greeted (by Schroeder) to being assisted with checking out the table/being shown how the drop leafs work (by Schroeder) to paying for the table and a couple of ceramic cups and saucers (the latter just having arrived/but Schroeder looked them up/"no problem") to having our table prepped for pick up (by Paul and Schroeder) to being greeted the next day with a smile (by Paul) to the assist with the table being lifted into the back of our SUV (by Paul) ...it could not have been a better experience!! We will definitely be back -- AND we'll pass on to everyone we know and then some, what a great place to shop Guff is!
