This spot was excellent. The appetizers completely stole the show. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and the birria bao buns, and both were 10/10. The flavors were on point, everything was cooked perfectly, and they were the kind of dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. For entrees, I had the linguine and my husband had the shrimp scampi. Both were really good and well-prepared, but I'd go back for the appetizers alone. We'll definitely be back. We came by for an early dinner on a Tuesday, the restaurant was pleasantly empty. We were a bit disappointed since they didn't have most of what we ordered. The beer we ordered, which is on the menu was out of stock, the oysters which were on the menu was out of stock and the steak for the tacos was also out. We ended up ordering chicken tacos and fries yuca. What we did have tasted good however the check blew me away. In my opinion very expensive for the plates we ordered, over $140 for chicken tacos, 2 beers fried yuca and 1 pasta dish. I love this place, this post covers my third and fourth visit. I travel in for business and it's been a few months, I was happy to see the menu expanded and a nice variety! The shrimp scampi was delicious and went back with some girlfriends two days later (Thursday ladies night) and had the VR Salmon Salad. We checked out Captivating Camino in Villa Rica today! We kicked things off with the Birria Callejera Buns - braised ribs on bao buns with Oaxaca Cheese and seasonings. A little spicy for me, but still soooo delicious! Then, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp with Camino Aioli, and honestly, this might be one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. That aioli? Pure perfection! For mains, my husband went for the Dragon Tacos with mahi, Charred Pineapple Salsa, and Serrano Aioli. I'm not big on seafood, but he was in love! I had the Linguini Del Camino with Grilled Chipotle Chicken in a garlic lemon cream, and I devoured every bite of that pasta. We were too full for dessert, but we'll definitely be back! Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Husband and I had the beef short rib appetizer, pork chop and surf and turf. A few things to mention is I have not been served broccoli rob at a restaurant since Flagstaff, AZ. They also have Yucca fries on the menu along with plantains. Have you ever been assaulted by Atmosphere? I have. I'm not sure how this place has so many high ratings, must be giving out discounts. The drinks are good, and are worth its price. But the moment you walk in you're blinded by cool bright white lighting, the blue and white is god awful, and the seating is old OCharley's booths with metal digging into your back. I was hesitant to try anything so I got the fried chicken sandwich, the same oil used that cooked fish. I also want to add they were playing late 90s hiphop and pop (Spice Girls/Puff Daddy). Watching my fiance eat a Caribbean sausage/chicken penne pasta, drinking a spicy margarita, while listening to loud Macarena was an unsettling feeling for a Sunday. An absolute hidden gem that VR needs to try. We are limited in quality restaurants in this area but this place is probably the best. (We enjoy Gabe's as well) but after so many disappointing attempts to find quality meals in this area, we are 100% impressed. We have been there twice so far but will make sure it is our go to for a night at the bar and good food. The drinks, food and staff have been spot on so far. What a fun and different menu. Everything was delicious from apps to dessert. My friend had the Caribbean Pork Chops, mom had the seafood bowl and I did the sirloin with 2 sides. Hot, fresh and oh so good. The skinny margarita was tasty too. A repeat visit is a must! read more

This is a beautiful space more commonly seen in Atlanta. We had drinks and tapas. Bang Bang shrimp with aioli and scallions were spicy but fresh and delicious. All the dishes were presented artfully. Birria Callejera buns were filled with braised short ribs- tender and flavorful. Tres Quesos nachos were good. Elotes Encendidos lacked flavor and corn was not fresh. Drinks were served in beautiful glasses and were wonderful. We enjoyed our meal and service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant is fairly new and crowd was small. For this quality which is rare west of Atlanta it should be packed. Pricing is a little high which may be keeping some folks away but you should check it out. read more
