    Shrimp tacos

Good food with great service. We were here as a group of nine. The place is part of the Foxhall Resort and has a clean, southern slightly upscale, with southern hospitality. If you're staying at the resort you likely have a kitchenette at the minimum so you have options per se however this restaurants is a solid option if you don't want to drive into town. We had all our lunch and dinner meals here, we didn't mind, and we will be back. Appetizers: we liked the meatballs (could use one more slice of bread for four meat balls), the spinach artichoke dip and olive tapenade (in that order). Solid choices are the steak (NY Strip) is decent (two of the three we got was under cooked for medium rare... while the other was just right... maybe use a thermometer?). Shrimp tacos are tasty but don't expect jumbo shrimp... I'd still order it. Salmon is not farmed and a solid choice as well. Apparently at lunch the chicken pot pie is the impressive bit maybe one in our group had an outlier of the batch (one was sour) but expect it to be "soupy".

Hands down the best food ever and best restaurant we have visited in GA (my friends live here in GA and I'm from CA and a huge foodie). The staff were amazing and very well knowledgeable on the food and took the time to find all the answers to our questions. We had the charcuterie, caesar salad, beet salad, short ribs, octopus and halibut along with all three offered desserts. The mixed drinks (lemon drop and crystal nigroni (sp?)) were exceptional and the wine suggestion was spot on. The only issue we had was learning that the locals in Serenbe did not frequent Austin's as much as they should. If I lived in Serenbe, I would be a regular to this amazing restaurant. My friends are looking at adding it to their weekly night out (they live 30-40 minutes from Serenbe). Thank you for exceptional food and service - we will be back and recommend to friends.

One person is making sure your ok while another brings food and fills water. I ordered the farm beets and short rib. Delicious. I think the beets were my favorite dish. I will be back mostly for drinks since the serving size is small for me. But I know everything I chose will be made with care.

We had seen this place a few months ago when we parked nearby to walk a block or so to the square…read morein Newnan. We had been meaning to check it out. We were traveling nearby on a recent Saturday and opted to stop in at around noon. There is street parking as well as a large public lot across the street. This space was previously a small Thai restaurant (and I'm sure it had multiple incarnations before that). From what I recall, the layout in the Thai restaurant seemed smaller. They appear to have opened up space so that the dining area is deeper now. There is a dining area up front with a few tables; this area has more natural light from windows. The dining area continues along one wall adjacent to the kitchen, and it is a bit darker there. The overall vibe is 'artsy', with art displayed on the wall (some for sale), creative names for menu items, etc. The shop would fit right in to a small college town. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We got seated right away and were able to find items we wanted. The menu is not extensive, but it has a decent spread of items that should satisfy most people. I quite liked my BLT and the accompanying chips. The size was right and the bacon was well crisped. They also didn't try too hard with some odd bread or whatever. I like a place that just makes a straight-ahead BLT without trying to make it needlessly 'classy'. My wife liked her chicken salad sandwich okay. The side salad she got was good. Prices were reasonable. They seemed to have an adjoining property called Lune which may be their dinner incarnation. It seems like both restaurants are related and the menu implied that they did serve dinner, but maybe just at Lune (?). FWIW. I would consider returning here for another meal.

We went on a Friday evening. Parking and location was good and easy to find. When we walked in the front room is just empty and that gave us a weird feeling. You walk in through a walkway and you see the seating. The seating gives off more bar than nice restaurant but we decided to give it a shot any way. We seated ourselves but were promptly treated by a waitress that gave us menus and a silverware and drink menus. She was not our waitress but very nice. Again the menus were printed on paper which again gave red flags on if this was going to be a good experience, but we were already committed at this point. I ordered an old fashion and my wife one of their mixed cocktails. Drinks were great! Her drink alittle fruity for me but just right for the wife. My old fashion wasn't the best I've had but it was solid. We ordered the egg rolls for an appetizer. They came with an Asian sweet chili sauce that was awesome. Really enjoyed them. I had the Parmesan crusted salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I do wish I had alittle more broccoli but otherwise it was simply amazing. The salmon was cooked and seasoned through the large portion. My wife had the southern fried catfish with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Came with some hot sauce but the fish was seasoned so well it wasn't needed at all. The worst part of the experience was the hookah it wasn't great but could've just been the flavor I ordered, and it was also fairly cold in the restaurant as it was about 40 degrees outside and inside. Sorry I didn't take any photos but I would say don't judge a book by its cover this is some of the best dining we've had since moving to the area.

So I had a Great cocktail experience overall. I've only been here one time but it was actually…read morepretty good and I would definitely go back again. I like anything that's close to a speakeasy or hidden bar so this was really up my alley. So it's in Summerhill. You can pretty much park wherever you can find parking. There may be street or there may be a lot but there's still plenty of parking because there's a bunch of stuff on this block. And you don't have to worry about paying so that's a plus. You'll find the building that's painted and then take that door and go downstairs into the basement. Considering how light and bright the neighborhood is, the actual basement itself is pretty dark and kind of intimate. It's very dimly lit with candles but it gives it some character. I'd already eaten and drunk so I just stopped in for one more drink before I left the side of town. I only really had one drink but it was a pretty good drink. The bartender was the only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating. I thought that the vibe was good and the cocktail was good and the general aesthetic was very pleasing but she didn't actually act like she wanted to serve anybody at the bar. I'm a bartender so I know that service definitely matters. The patrons can pick up on when you're not energetic or at least trying to be energetic with them and I definitely pick that vibe up. We asked what the favorite drink of hers was and she said whatever the easiest drink was. Also asked what were the favorite drinks of the general population. She said all of them. She didn't give any thought to answering the question, didn't even try to lie about it. LOL. I have the M&M Manhattan and it was good. It's a smoky style drink so if you're not into mezcal smoke, you may not like it but I thought it was very savory and not too sweet whatsoever. Overall I would definitely go back. Outside of what I was picking up from the bartender, it's a really good vibe and you can probably walk from multiple places on this block and then end up here as a last cocktail before the night's over.
