The food here will vary because it seems like they base a lot of their special evening's catering to a special cause or event. It's a great hangout place when they have like bands, and the food has been OK to even good. I will say that the service can take a lot longer than most other places. La Paz is known as a chill and laid-back town, I'm OK with that, but it really shouldn't take 35 to 45 minutes to get a drink. And I'm not speaking of one occasion, I've been there half a dozen times or more and it always seems to be that way. It is a fun place, just order two drinks at a time. If they can match their service with their entertainment, displays would totally be off the hook. It would be a five-star place for sure. read more

I highly recommend this cafe. It was so good, I came back with friends after eating here the first time. The espresso drinks were pleasantly strong and not bitter. There empanadas were a pleasant surprise. I was expecting a flour based bread, but it was a crunchy, ground corn exterior with a nice sesame seed flavor. The filing of spinach, cheese corn and other goodies was excellent. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and location. Great food at a great value. read more

Can't believe nobody has yelped about this place yet! It's a super cute vegetarian restaurant/ cafe just a bit off malecon. The servers were super sweet, attentive and speak some English (and they have full English menu!). I ordered "Mexican tofu", which was a scrambled tofu dishes with tomato, onion, cilantro etc., and I thought it was very flavorful and creative--possibly the best scrambled tofu I'd ever had-- and I'm not even vegetarian! The green juice was equally good--very refreshing and not watery or sugary like juices in Mexico often are. I tried their frapuccino on another occasion before, which was good although nothing to write home about. Anyway if you find yourself in La Paz craving for something healthy this is the place to go! read more

This is a great spot in La Paz! The food is excellent and the owners are even better! The quality of food is really good, we especially enjoyed our cold brew coffees, empanadas, tacos al pastor and there chilaquiles. Thanks to Andréa and Jamie, they arranged an awesome snorkeling tour in La Paz, introduced us to my husband's new favorite artist(Uli, who has paintings featured all over La Paz including their logo) and even helped arrange another great eco tour in Cabo Pulmo! They are great people, we hope to come back and visit soon!! We loved meeting a local family and business owners and appreciated them helping make our adventures a success in La Paz and beyond! We went in on two consecutive nights. First night split a sampler platter which had the falafel two ways (pita and tacos), mini-burger, guacamole, and empanadas. Across the board, all of that was delicious. Second night we got pasta -- the pesto and the alfredo. The pesto was outstanding, the alfredo was diasappointing -- kind of gooey and heavy, not much flavor. (I think they may be using cream cheese in it?) The limonadas are quite good, and you can spike them with mezcal if you want, which was delicious. read more

We even repeat 2 different days, the first I ordered a falafel and today the frutivora salad and both rare more than perfect. We also bought a trip to Isla Espíritu Santo with them that was awesome! Excellent option for vegetarian friendly food. Couldn't have been happier with the food, drinks, and service. I recommend their tropical lemonade over their smoothie options though.
