They have kombucha! And I love the bowls. Great to-go food. And they are happy to use your Tupperware from home to make things easier for you. Pretty slow service, but maybe that's because they are making everything to order?

Great service!!!! Everything was very fresh and tasty. Nice ambiance and vibes. The waiter helped up practice Spanish. Tuna poke bowl is sooo good! Only qualm was the smoothie I got was warm, although the flavor was good!

La Mentita is a quaint breakfast spot in a neighborhood a few blocks off the malecon. The neighborhood is a whole vibe. It feels like Los Angeles meets Austin The staff is very friendly and fast. The food is heavenly and rich with flavor. I recommend grabbing the chilaquiles. Whether you're brunching with the crew or want to grab a quick bite this is a legit spot

Great lunch all around. The Roja sauce was plate licking good. Poke bowl was outstanding. Sandwich was good but would not repeat it.

Spicy tuna poke

Server was nice, service was slow. Food was just ok, tuna did not taste fresh, big portion on poke bowl but mostly rice and served with soy sauce, not spicy mayo. The juice was tasty with frozen fruits in it.

I had the chocolate shake and it was so refreshing and needed since the day was so hot. We also had fries with salchichas and they were good too. The salsa is spicy here. The nachos were good too.

We've been here a couple of times now - outdoor seating in a great part of downtown La Paz just a block+ off the malecon.

I met Don Julio here!!! Just kidding. I asked our server his name at the same time he was talking…read moreabout tequila. I caught my breath and put my hand over my chest "Your name is Don Julio?" We all fell out laughing. Keep in mind this is an Italian restaurant/steakhouse. The bread they serve is to die for. We ordered the beef carpaccio (thin slices of beef topped with olives, capers, and Parmesan cheese) and Palermo salad to start with. Very good. My boyfriend got the T bone and I ordered Chicken Marsala. I thought the steak was superb. My Chicken Marsala was phenomenal. It came with roasted veggies and mashed potatoes. I don't normally eat all of my meal (portion control and I like to have leftovers), but I cleaned my plate. The service was great. We sat out on the patio and watched the sun set.

We had heard great things about Palermo's so we stopped in for dinner our first night in town. What…read morea wonderful experience as well as ambience. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we basically had personal service, and they were on top of everything. We started off with a house mixed greens salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and for dinner we had the 2 Way Shrimp entree (4 with thai sweet chili and 4 a white wine sauce) and N.Y. Steak (with baked potato and grilled vegetables). To go along with that, s Pina Colada and Rum/Coke. To top off the evening, cheesecake and proposal. Overall, a fantastic evening of food, drink, friends and service. Highly recommend you visit when in La Paz.
