The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? And the staff were super nice and helpful then as well! I'm in love with how the finished pieces turned out after firing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. I love that they show tiles of what the paint color will look like Turnaround time to pick up your piece is relatively quick: ~4 days (ie finish sunday, pick up thursday) They have a lot of tools / resources to help design your piece (ie tape, lace, stencils, puffy paint, etc) An area they could improve on is their brushes - I don't always love the brushes they provide since it feels like they've been misused (not their fault but could be prevented but informing customers on how to properly use brushes), so i usually bring my own. The colors were also nice and had many different hues. You grab colors on a plate and they have different sized paint brushes. I did wish the brushes were more precise. The setup was pretty great to accommodate our group size very easily. We got instructions about the steps to make our bowl and a demo, but I along with others definitely found it hard to keep up. We needed a lot of individual help. I wish there was an assistant who could walk around and help us too. The studio glazed and painted the bowls to a color we liked. They looked great! I only wish we were able to be more hands on in the process and perhaps make two items as the process is quite hard if you're new and it would have been fun to take another stab at it.

Initially I was very excited to take a 4 week pottery class because it was a hobby I have been…read morethinking about trying for a long time but my experience here has honestly dampened my interest in pursuing pottery further I'm unsure if it's typical protocol but essentially the instructor would do one tutorial and then let the class figure it out from there. He would then focus on his own pieces instead of checking on how to students were doing. The classes rarely started on time because the instructor would be eating their late lunch and would consistently forget what he taught us the previous week. Because there was poor time management, we would be working on pieces and then 15 minutes before the class would end, we would be told we have to start cleaning up so everyone would rush to finish what they were doing Because there was barely any hands on instruction, I was constantly watching online videos from other pottery instructors before class to teach myself the tips I was missing from my own instructor The studio also lacked a proper storage system, so every single week we came in, our pieces were in a different place which made it extremely difficult to find our work -- I lost a few pieces because of this The overall experience has been so disappointing and a waste of time and money - if you are serious about making pottery a hobby, I would suggest looking for a different pottery studio

The first 20-30min was the demo & we wish that it could've been interactive 'follow along' exercise. Great way to get your hands working & molding. Took two classes here and had very different experiences…read more The first class I went to was a resin workshop with Punky Power Productions and it was fun, engaging, and interactive. The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.

We first checked it out during the grand opening and were impressed by how open, bright, and thoughtfully set up the space was. It feels much more spacious and creative than other DIY spots we've visited. We've since gone back for camps and casual weekend visits, and she always finds something new she wants to make. The custom comic book and stuffie stations are especially fun and unique. The staff has also been consistently kind, patient, and helpful every time we've been there. Such a fun place for creative kids.
