By far the worst car buying experience ever. Owned the truck for about 6 months and 3 of those is was in the shop. I was afraid to drive it because every time I drove it a new problem popped up with it. Buyer beware. Do yourself a favor and get a third-party inspection before purchase. These are just vehicles that are bought at an auction and re-sold. My vehicle needed many, many repairs and was not backed up by either Car Cafe nor eBay, which it was purchased through. I called the day after I received this truck with several complaints. The third brake light didn't work, there were burnt out lights on the dashboard so you couldn't read the speedometer, the electrical locks didn't work, the rearview camera didn't work, the brake rotors were warped, The one key fob that came with the car didn't work and only one key came with the truck. There were stains in the headliner indicating a leak on the interior. Come to find out there were three separate water leaks to deal with. I had this vehicle shipped to me. The car showed up with no gasoline and the oil had not been changed in a very, very long time. All that i discovered in a block and a half that I drove this car so I could get fuel so it wouldn't run out! On the 5 mile drive home, I noticed that the transmission and engine seem to be doing two different things. It shifted rough, vibrated and made noises. It could not stop hunting to try to find the right gear. Shifting into high gear would make the whole drivetrain shudder. And the engine loped. Thats not a very confidence inspiring buying first drive of your new truck. And then I got worse. Contacting car cafe brought no relief. I was just told to wait while it went through the shop manager for recourse. Days and weeks wen by while I kept communicating with them trying to get some resolve. But I stand here empty handed, I brought it in for an independent inspection and they said that the whole rear differential needed to be replaced. The transmission would need to be worked on. And that's aside from the oil change I had to give it where the oil plug was stripped out and needed replacing. While working on the brakes I discovered the old tire jockey who worked on this car was angry about his career choice because most of the lug nuts were rounded off or totally destroyed. I had to order a whole set of lug nuts to save future hassles. I flushed the power steering system. I dropped the transmission pan and gave it an oil and filter change and then swapped out an additional 4 quarts after driving it for couple days. In the two months that I owned the car, I put in over $2000 worth of repairs and did all the maintenance myself. Everywhere I looked, it needed more mechanical repairs and I decided that this vehicle needed to go. So, a vehicle I paid over $17,000 for was worth $11,000 when I traded it in, so I'm out 8 grand from having the pleasure of doing business with Chris at Car Cafe. The ad states "returns accepted"and that "the vehicle rode and drove great". I bought this vehicle for my significant other but he only drove it once, which was to get it inspected by the DMV, which we had to bring it up to code before it would pass. This vehicle was driven Less than 500 miles, broke down on me once and was never a pleasure to drive. Many accessories did not work like the opening rear window, the drivers seat that would go straight up and back automatically if you used the key fob to unlock the vehicle, which I had to buy because the key fob that came with it was nonfunctional. And then I had to program the new key fobs to the car. The vehicle had mud flung up under the vehicle indicating it may have been in a flood. I spent a few hours trying to flush it all out so I could perform maintenance safely. Carfax was not the least bit helpful trying to log a claim with them. You know, they have a buy-back guarantee. Good luck with that! If there's more room, I'd love to explain about all the cosmetic issues this piece of garbage had! But I'll stop here read more

Buyer beware! Stay away! Flew there from out of state to purchase a car that we had seen online. I can only guess they "doctored" the pictures. Per the salesman, Chris, it had only 2 small blemishes. Well, so not the case! In reality, 3 chips in the windshield, check engine light was on (quote: all it needs is a $30 part. Well, why didn't they put it in?!?), it was missing part of the car handle, outside was very beat looking and I believe it had major water damage. And too many other problems to list here. This is why used car salesmen have such a bad reputation! My next step is filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau. There is no way the good reviews are real. We bought a truck from them and asked them about their bad reviews and they said it was only because of the online buyers not seeing what they purchase but that is just NOT true. We had to put over $6,000 into the truck we purchased for $14,000 in the first month, just to keep it running. Now, 9 months later we are having to sell the truck for $4,000 because the engine is making a noise. PLEASE, PLEASE listen to me. Don't buy from Car Cafe. They are crooks. I think they buy junk vehicles, slap on a coat of paint, override the service codes and bandaid the problems. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. Do not I repeat do not buy a vehicle from this place. We bought a vehicle on Oct 17th and had to take it back the next day. The vehicle has been back to them 4 times and now it is at a Ford dealership. We have driven the truck for a total of 6 days since Oct 17th because it is a piece of junk that is costing us more money than it is worth. You will get the run around from these people. I hate that I have to spend money that I do not have to figure out what is wrong with the truck. Run far away from this place. read more

I bought a truck here in September and have had many issues with ur truck . I understand when you by a used vehicle there's a certain risk involved . But they totally pulled wool over my eyes . First off they reset codes to my brake issues( which I was unaware Of ) and the problem is a 900.00 computer needs replaced . Then took to get alignment an alignment , and that cost 2500 after they discovered all the issues ( broken coil ) upper lower ball joints needed replaced etc . As I stated buying used you assume some risk , but they totally got over on me . Not to mention my nephew bought one from here , flew in from out of state to make the deal . Once it was shipped to his home state , lights came on . There were issues with catalytic converters . Again the reset codes because he took it to a Ford dealership to a authorized mechanic .
