i took my camry in and it is a japa made so i took it in for a transaxel flud drain and refill and…read moretold them which fluid and that you must use crush washers when you reinstall the drain plug and the refill plug with crush washers to prevent leaks and as i got home i found a few drops of fluid allreadydropped on clean concret as sure enough it will leak because the washers theyused were not rigt and i insisted but theymade o effort to get right washers even though i gave them parts number from toyota and they said this is what i have to use and tey put on washers thatwill not seal the correctwas as i need the aluminum crushale to fit the texture of the aluninum housing so it wont leak. im going tomorrow to see terry salamat and if they wont correct prolem i will hire an attorey. i had a previous problem with themi last year.i had a clock spring on my nissa rogue not put on right-i went back and they tampered with it so i accepted and left. now im afraid thatthey didnt even change the fluid maybe checked it and put plugs in using same washers tom said. i was charged over 70 dollars for a gallon of supposedly dexron 111 fluid even though i needed on 2 quarts. also labor brough bill to a little over 163 dollars plus the worry now as i have to have it fixed correctly. i hope people will stop using this place as they are money hungry and dont do correct job. i cant take foto as im old and my cell phone is a flip phone-no camera als repairo i told tom i dont have money to waste as im 78 years old on soc security and need car worked on right. he said old car always has leaks but tis had o new leak until today ad leak was clear oil not black or brown fluid-i just hope something can be done to people like this. i even did all the leg work on computer getting info on my car etc and fluid it hasto have and all about the transaxel and model number. idid all i can do and want them to refund my money so i can get it fixed right at toyota dealer

I was never told this ahead of time, and the owner later admitted he "forgot to tell me." He initially told me I just needed a new battery and said it was a busy day with a lot of clients, but I would expect proper care and pride in the work during delivery. Shortly after leaving, the vehicle completely shut off while I was driving on the freeway -- no engine, no dash, no lights, and I couldn't even turn on the hazard lights. This was an extremely dangerous safety situation. I took it to AutoZone twice. The first time they tested the battery level. When I called the owner, he was dismissive and kept saying I just needed a new battery. The second time, AutoZone found the battery was not properly secured. When we informed the shop, he said "mistakes happen." When I expressed safety concerns, he responded, "well, it drove off the lot," which was frustrating given what had just happened. I requested a full safety check by another technician, but he said no one else could check it besides him. For such a major and expensive repair, I expected better communication, accountability, and quality control.

Kenny and the team had the transmission replaced with an OEM transmission in just a few days and at a great price! Cut to 2 months later the OEM transmission went out. Kenny said that it would be covered under any dealership. We took it to Carlsbad Chevrolet in Carlsbad, NM. Carlsbad Chevrolet sat on a he vehicle for 2 months and didn't even begin the diagnostic process! Dillard's Mechanical Specialists requested I bring the vehicle to them. I have to wed the vehicle from Carlsbad, NM to Richmond, TX (625 miles)! Kenny and the team at Dillard's had the repair completed (under warranty services) in less than a week! When I picked up my car I noticed the AC temp was turned way down which I never did because the AC was colder than a home AC. The next day the air wasn't working. I called Art the owner who told me leaves were in the vent. Took car to another mechanic who told me the compressor had been cracked. Very disappointed with someone I trusted and thought was honest and legitimate. In Houston you can't go without AC in your car or home. What a lesson I learned!!!!
