I was pleasantly greeted too. They worked me in in less than 15 minutes. I asked a customer who was waiting how he felt about the place, and he said he had been taking his vehicles to Sal's for over twenty years and always had good experiences. Mechanic test drove my truck and said he could detect anything. Sal had it put on the lift and inspected it, and he said the same thing- nothing was wrong! He charged me -0- for this!

They changed to a new payment system that charges the customer a %3 processing fee on every purchase. That comes out to be a lot when your bill is a few thousand dollars. The only alternative they offer to avoid the fee is Zelle, which doesn't allow money transfers over $500. So, now I am stuck paying an additional $100+ that wasn't mentioned to me from the start and wasn't included in my estimate. Pretty unfair in my opinion. I was going to be a lifetime customer, but not disclosing hidden fees until the very end will force me to take my business elsewhere.

I went to Mr. Sticker on Jeanetta and Westheimer for a simple oil change. Simple. My car is a 4 cylinder. It takes around 4 quarts. They dumped eight quarts of oil into my engine. They did not drain the old oil. They did not check anything. They just poured until the jug was empty. I drove off and my car immediately started knocking, choking, and blowing white smoke like it was about to explode. I went back and the worker refused to take responsibility. He kept repeating that all he did was remove the filter and put oil. He even tried to brag that he did not charge me for synthetic. That does not change the fact that he overfilled my engine with double the oil. We showed him video proof of the eight quart container. He still denied it and still refused a refund. I had to go to my mechanic, who drained the excess oil, replaced the spark plug, and confirmed the engine was drowning in oil. This cost me 170 dollars because of their mistake. Mr. Sticker might be fine for inspections, but do not trust them with oil changes or any mechanical work. My mistake was trusting them.
