First time in a long time I have visited a car shop I have never been to... I found this shop as well per online posting from a Tesla forum, visited Yelp and I called and spoke to Twix for the first time. This shop I have to admit is an all in one carshop from exotics to a daily driver. The shop consist of very respectful and honest individuals who will price their work right with a quality professionalism and service in mind. Each of them are very knowledgeable from Twix to Gary, Tuck, Ivan, Louis, and Its Owner Mr. Andy. You probably wonder I know all their names, its because they are all 100% friendly and approachable and accomodating, . Now on to the car service side of the story, it excels even more. Installation of a full suspension plus alignment on a Tesla Model3... need I say more? I will even give the tech Ivan his own 5 stars in this category, he made sure the job is done and done correctly. This shop is an hour or so from me but it was definitely worth it. My husband needed brakes done on our 2005 Camry. He called and spoke to Jody. She was super nice and helpful and answered all his questions. Apparently, our rotors were shot so we had to get them replaced. The job was done fairly quickly. We dropped it off some time around 10 am and it was done in the afternoon. I have been looking for an auto service place for my Mercedes since the manufacturer's warranty has expired. I decided to give Walnut Auto Care a try since it has great reviews. I can truly say the reviews are nothing but the truth. Kelvin was very professional and understanding with both customers needs and mechanically. for sentimental values i kept a 2001 vw bug non-op since 2012 because well... for sentimental value. but if you're talking about actual kbb value, the car is probably not even worth a shiny penny. seeing that it's a 15 y.o. grandma, the airbag light was on and i wouldn't dare have my life dependent on the brakes... and last but not least, the engine won't restart after each ignition off. so you see, lots of work needed to be done on the car. and i knew i had to call up my friends at the walnut auto care. geoff and team are THE BEST team i've ever worked with. they completely restored my car back to operating condition and even took extra time to detail my car before i picked it up. the communication was absolutely superb. updates were provided along the way seeing that they needed to fully diagnose and inspect the car to know what needed to be fixed, so i was always aware of the cost seeing that it's such an old car, the sum total needed to justify the financial investment. i wouldn't go to anyone else for auto repair, and you shouldn't either! the walnut auto care brought my car back to life (the second time), and i couldn't be more grateful! they're german car specialists (audi, bmw, mercedes) and you won't go wrong with bringing any of your german beauties in for fix! read more

Excellent first experience at Walnut Auto Care. Made an appointment with Kalvin a few days ago after receiving a quote from him the week before. Brought in my own parts for front and rear brake rotor and pad changes. His quote was more than fair and his demeanor was even better, even after a long week of work. The amount of time needed to do the repair was spot on (ymmv of course, since my work was like assembling heavy legos). Came to Car Code for my BMW 528i F10's coolant issue. Because they are specialized in BMW, they diagnosed the problem in no time. It was the coolant reservoir sensor. They gave me the best quote possible to get the reservoir switched out. On top of that, they performed coolant flush on the car without charging me, and all the parts they used are OEM BMW parts, including the reservoir and coolant (Best service ever!). I dropped my car off at 8:00am and picked it up at 10:45am (super quick and hassle-free). read more

I decided to go to Car Code to get my car inspected for any issues I have under the hood , so I called them and I made an appointment with them at 1:30pm. They claimed that the inspection should be completed within 40-45 minutes. I arrived to my appointment and gave them my keys, and I took off. I came back at 2:20-2:30 and see my car hasn't moved and inch in the parking lot. I didn't want to assume that my car hasn't been inspected so I asked the front desk if the inspection is done. The front desk said that it hasn't been done yet because they are "busy" and that once they are done with another customer, mine will be done. This defeats the purpose of an "appointment" when they put my requested service aside. I was confused and upset but I remained calm and collected & I decided to just leave and asked for my keys back. The guy in the front apologized and took another 10 minutes to simply get my keys. To put simply, I wasted a precious hour through an appointment at 1:30 and came back within 40-45 minutes just for me to find out that the service I requested hasn't even started. Based on my experience, I don't think they value their customer's time. I have been a yelp user for quite some time and have not once left a review on yelp but I'm so displeased and infuriated as to how this service went that I just have to leave a review and share my experience. Will I ever come back? Probably not. read more

I am very grateful to have found Walnut Auto Care and will no doubt be back again with any of my future Honda needs. First, this was the only mechanic that provided a quick online quote response based off of an inquiry for my 02 Honda Civic oil leak that was suspected to be due to either the crankshaft or oil pan gasket. I took my car in for an inspection and they found the oil was leaking from the oil drain plug washer and the front crank seal. They also found the lower timing cover seal had popped out and was broken at the bolt hole. Complete replacements included-- front crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, timing belt, valve cover gasket, lower timing cover and the water pump for less than $500 labor (+) tax (which included a 30% discount off of all parts!). In fact, they completely replaced the lower timing cover and the water pump for NO COST, that's right, NO COST! It didn't feel right to walk out without paying for at least the part, but they insisted since they wanted to stick to the original quote provided. I'm sure you all know the headache of working with mechanics that try to squeeze any amount they can from you, but I can guarantee that Walnut Auto Care will provide fair prices with excellent service. Clean, professional, friendly place. Saved me several hundred dollars, gave me free water and an air freshener, and had parts ordered, delivered and installed within 90 mins. Showed me photos on iPhone of all of the work they did - worn parts before and new parts after. I normally take my car in to the dealer to have my regular maintenance done but lately I heard from my body that there is a new shop opened near by my house so I decided to go check it out since my oil was due. The guys there were pretty chill. They told me the oil was good and didn't need to be changed for another one thousand miles. I felt great full that the owner did not try to squeeze out every penny from me but rather telling me what needs to be done and what is unnecessary. It is impossible for me to get any work done on my car without taking time off from my job. Lucky for me I found this place. I inquired about a quote on getting an oil change done for a bmw. I figured I'd probably get a response in a few days or so. Kalvin responded to me in under an hour with a very competitive quote. Cheaper than where I used to take my car. On top of that he was very honest with me regarding work that may need to be done. The mechanic showed me some issues with my timing belt. Just stopped in for a quick oil change yesterday at this new place Walnut Auto Care. I didn't have an appointment, but they found a way to squeeze me in. The service was great, they checked all the fluids, belts, filters and tires also. I was expecting to have to do more than just an oil change since my car just went over the 120,000 mile mark, but they gave it a clean bill of health. I was charged just for an oil change, which was $20 less than Jiffy Lube...Walnut Auto Care has a great team, honest and excellent service....I will definitely be coming back for service the next time I need it. However, decided to check the place out, I learned firsthand that everybody who works in Walnut Auto Care is very genuine at what they do. And that is fixing cars and taking care of their customers! I needed an oil change for my 2016 Honda Pilot and luckily Yelp brought me here! I love supporting local business- especially when they are a great establishment like this! I spoke to Nolan on the phone. He gave me my quote and also informed me that they did not have my part, but could have it within 2 hours. We set up an appointment time for me to come in and Tuck helped me check in and out. They just opened 2 weeks ago and everything is very clean and new. Everyone I have interacted here is super friendly and they don't try to up-sell you on everything like those "chain" places. All in all they seem very ethical, which is something I value tremendously. On top of it, they are running current promotions and were quite a bit cheaper than the chain places I had called. They were on time and my car was done in the time frame they had promised. I was so impressed with my experience that I immediately told my whole family that they HAVE to come here!
