However, immediately after the technician tightened the spring and chain, he ran a few up/down cycles and the motor suddenly stopped functioning (a classic case of over-tightening failure - which will immediately destroy a motor, regardless of age). When we pointed out the suspicious timing, the technician and owner dismissed it as simply due to the motor's age - insisting it had nothing to do with their work - and refused to troubleshoot or repair it further. They still collected their original fee. Worse, the technician offered no solutions and casually mentioned that "this happens to him a lot" - where the motor is operational and then suddenly fails while he is on-site. As a result, we're now stuck with a garage door that operated well before their visit but no longer works at all. A truly frustrating and unprofessional "Elite" experience. Avoid at all costs.

Worse than the base tune the Helix folks had set up to get everything running. Ended up taking it to another shop and they said all the EQ settings made no sense for the equipment I had and he just clearly didn't understand the product. An hour work for less than $200 and the new shop had it sounding amazing. He may be great at installs but on tuning he clearly doesn't know what he is doing.

For those of you interested, here is the rest of the story: Since his original purchase, my Bob has taken his RZR side-by-side to Anderson for customized upgrades and extra bells and whistles. Just prior to our 2-week departure for a backcountry vacation with family, Bob picked up the RZR from Anderson after they had installed some new wiring and audio upgrades. Even though the RZR worked at Anderson and was unloaded at our home, on the day of our departure, it would not start. Figuring Anderson had failed to properly connect all wiring components, Bob became sooooo irate! The RZR doesn't work, he can't even load it up onto the trailer to bring it back to Anderson AND we are now delayed in meeting our family. When he telephoned the good folks at Anderson, they quickly made arrangements to send two members of the crew to our home (almost 20 miles away!). They arrived with tools plus the plan to physically push the RZR up on the trailer if they couldn't immediately solve the problem. Fortunately, Redmond got in the driver's seat and IMMEDIATELY started up the RZR to a sweet purr. What was the problem??? My husband did not have THE GEAR IN PARK! Bob was beyond embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough for his gruff, accusatory remarks.
