We flew in to Charlotte to visit our friends in Mooresville and our friends booked a pickup and dropoff between their house and the airport. I received a text the night before to confirm my flight and arrival time. This was already a great sign that I knew my ride was already arranged for airport pickup. I was given our driver's number so I was able to text him directly to keep him updated on my pickup time and place. It was so assuring to know that I was in good hands. Bob was super friendly and we had a good conversation on our drive to Mooresville. Our friends also arranged for dropoff at CLT from their house in Mooresville. Bob was very punctual and we got to the airport well in advance of our flight. Having the same driver was also nice so we continued our friendly conversation. This is a local company so it is nice to support a small business rather than the corporate rideshare businesses. Unreliable!!! Left my wife stranded at the CLT airport at 5 AM. When no one showed up, she called Bob, and woke him up. He said he forgot to set his alarm. When he called her back in a few minutes, he told her she would have to wait as he had another pick up at 5:40 AM and then he'd get her. Reservations were made a month prior and in fact this pickup was confirmed with Jessica the day prior to the scheduled pickup. Car services need to be 100% reliable. This one is not. We will never use them again as we cannot trust them. read more

I am from the left coast. When I want to get somewhere I normally just use an ap. I was visiting my family in Mooresville so I verified that the big three : Uber, Lyft & Sidecar came out there. One of them seemed to and seemed to have vehicles available. Then, the clock struck 4 and everything dried up. Luckily, there was also Yelp. I saw Car-olina car service & was picked up within minutes. I wad lucky! Normally they require 24 hours planning. Our transport to the airport for 4 went well. However for the second time the return transport had issues. The first time I'd arranged for a pickup and it didn't make it to the drivers's calendar. The second time I gave info for return transport when scheduling and sent reminder while on trip. I received a text they could not accommodate us. read more

I needed transportation round trip from the Concord airport to visit a friend for the weekend. Definitely glad I found CAR-olina. The day started with a delayed arrival. What was supposed to be a 2:45pm arrival, was eventually an almost 10pm arrival. Communication with Kim was easy and I was assured it wasn't a problem. I just called and spoke with Bob. I need an airport pick up for myself and my two sons. I was inquiring about the availability of car seats for my 6 year old and 2 year old. They apparently only have booster seats available. I explained that wouldn't work for my 2 year old, and that the reason I was calling was because I have a reservation with another company that has been unable to verify the make and model of car seats used. Bob was extremely rude and in a very condescending tone said, "make and model? You know they will just be going to Good Will to get a car seat anyway. No one is going to buy a new car seat." (So apparently Car-olina uses used booster seats) I replied, " really? Even though it's recommended to never use a used seat because it may have been in an accident and no longer be safe? " And his response, in an even more condescending voice was, " ok Mom". I would avoid these people at all cost. Especially if you have children. Safety and manners don't seem to be a priority for Car-olina. read more
