I'm writing not at anyone's urging, but because of an excellent experience with Car Source OKC - my first. I know others have their own experience, however, I thought my own might offer some value. From the phone call to drive away I counted on Megan F. to walk me through the purchase process. She did everything except the title work - performed by E.J. I was so impressed with Megan from our phone conversation to her jumping the car with a battery pack on a very blustery, windy, cold day. The dealership only had the vehicle on the lot four days prior to my first notice of it. I emailed on a weekend when the business was closed, but Megan called early Monday morning. She seemed genuine and I paid a $100.00 hold fee that would be applied to the purchase if it was completed. I live at a fair distance, so the risk was worth the danger that I might make the trip for no reason. It really was cold and Megan wasn't dressed for a polar expedition. The vehicle hadn't been driven very far or in a long time. The battery couldn't get it done and Megan reappeared with a battery pack. She hooked it up since it wasn't her first rodeo. I watched like an old man who didn't know cars had batteries. I would have paid just to watch her work. We did the usual walk around and test drive. Megan knew the function and control of the many German features and how to activate them. I'm a fan of German autos, but even the owners manual doesn't address all features. I enjoy puzzles. It's an illness. The windshield had a crack and I could barely mention it before Megan explained they had a repair scheduled and she regretted it wasn't already done. She told me it would be repaired at my home or a shop they used. I have serious trust issues, but I believed her. That's because she's a person who could probably could sell me holes in the sky. My confidence was rewarded, but I don't expect anyone to follow my lead. We all choose our own paths. Buying high mileage vehicles requires a lot of research and reasonable expectations. I can't emphasize that enough. Before I ever emailed Car Source OKC I knew exactly what I wanted and what I would need to do. I did not expect a "new" car. High rollers often have a lot of miles and years left in them as long as you're prepared for the necessary maintenance and likely some repairs. Be sure you have a genuine motorhead with you if you don't have the credentials yourself. I'm not talking about family member or friend, but someone who works as a mechanic or at least a service writer for the brand you're focused on. You can also use Chatbot GPT or other AI if you like. I've found Chat to be remarkably accurate and a real timesaver, but that's for research purposes, not a replacement for hands-on inspection. There are actually bonded inspectors for hire in some places at reasonable prices. I haven't looked locally. I've turned wrenches, traded cars, and enjoyed most all makes for many years while I've had fun with them. I'm old enough to be considered an idiot or a savant - you would have to check my spreadsheet for an opinion. I've been both taken and won the lottery in the car game - new and used. Every brand and model has good, better, bad models. This can occur even when the vehicle hasn't undergone significant updates between years. Manufacturers use tons of third party vendors and they don't all perform as designed. Take your chances if you're buying a known lemon model. That's your decision and no one can stop you. People who trade-in vehicles don't perform overdue maintenance or repairs when unloading their cars. I look for solid examples of what I'm shopping for - no rust, significant body damage, obvious high dollar repairs, or other red lights. This vehicle as a good example, I expected all fluids/filters to require changing, full tune-up, serpentine belt replacement, tires, brakes, some suspension repairs, possibly a battery, and more. These were all expectations from the get-go. I'm also concerned about the timing chain and tensioner. These are a known weakness with many vehicles and repair is better than a shelled out engine. It's a lot like visiting casinos and expecting to underwrite your new business venture. I would prefer to get a business loan and not depend on the favor of the gambling gods. Even if you do everything right, there's no guarantee. Every used car purchase is "as is" and "buyer beware". I would say with the right choice (see above) high rollers are in your favor of getting good transportation for a few years (five or more?) and many miles, IF, you do everything right. There's no warranty without risk even when you drive your new baby off the showroom floor. Just try getting a dealer to take a lemon back. I was very happy working with Megan and Car Source OKC. They acquire a lot of interesting vehicles that are in my lane and I expect to do business with them again. Just be real and know every choice is your own and to not blame the messenger or dealer. read more

What could improve well let me think about it. The family that runs this business are terrible people that can't answer a phone call changes the price of the monthly payment to full price for no reason and repose your car when you owe less than $800 after paying 4000 and having the car for two months I wish I had money to get a lawyer. terrible place to buy a car it had 6 recalls on it and over 7k in repaired needed to be done to it after I bought it. The warranty doesn't cover anything so don't let them tell you it does. After I finally got it all fixed out of my own packet. I got the paper work to put it in my name. while I was at the tag agency they told me that it was all wrong and needed to go back to the dealer EJ. Drive all the way back up here and he "fixed it" well went to the tag down the road and they said it's all trash to re do the paper work all of it and start a new contract. He kept calling the tag agency because he had no clue what he was doing. The sales men did not care about giving out trash cars they just wanted to get paid to get rid of them. test drove a car, had a check engine light. Told me it was running lean. Cleared the code and drove it again. Did fine. Bought the car because they told me i was getting the Platinum 6 month 6000 mile warranty. SHortly after buying the code came on again and the motor started rattling. They had me take to their mechanic. Told them i could leave it, They had it for a week and I called. they hadnt even checked it out yet. Called again, said it was an o2 sensor and the non platinum warranty they sold me wouldnt cover it but i could replace the o2 sensors for 1000$. Took to my mechanic and he said it had metal in the oil and the code was pulling a catastrophic failure in cylinder 5. Dont buy from these crooks. read more

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!! WARRANTY IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!! Honestly folks this family owned business is one that has one purpose......#GET YOUR MONEY #MOVE A VEHICLE ... ...After the sale you and your vehicle are of no concern to them. The warranty company has the same attitude. I bought a vehicle that had a warranty October 25th. Within two weeks I started having problems with the transmission. I went back to Car Source and told them about it and they sent me around the corner to their shop filled all the fluids like that would fix the problem and sent me on my way. Within a week same problem and they told me to call the warranty company and when I did they let me know that although the warranty covers the transmission they would not fix mine because it was pre-existing. Pre-existing? PRE-EXISTING.....so does that mean they(Car Source)knew about it and sold the car anyway. Obviously.....because when I called them and told them what the warranty people said the salesman that sold me the car said I would have to talk to the owner who was out at the time. So I left my name and number and waited for him to call. I never got a call and I called back everyday til one day a man answered "Hello" not "Car Source" (as they quit answering my calls obviously recognizing my number and not answering when it came up on their caller id)and I had to ask if it was Car Source he said it was, I told him I needed to talk to the owner and I quote what he said" Oh he died last night, he had a stroke at 3am"I said sorry to here that and I would bring my vehicle back tomorrow to see what we could do, I was willing to trade it for one that didn't need a transmission etc. He said they would not be open for a couple of days and not to come. That was the end of the call. Frustrated I call their number back from another number and the same voice answered "Car Source ", I said oh I thought you were closed do to the owners death, all he could do was ugh ugh ugh and hung up. So I took my car to a mechanic shop who called the warranty people to tell them I needed a new transmission and the still would not honor the warranty claiming a ridiculous reason. This was in January a few days within the expiration date of the warranty. From Oct 25th to Jan 25th I got to drive it maybe 2 weeks 3 at the most and I paid almost $7000 for it. I took it to a Nissan Dealership to see what all was wrong with it and what it would cost to fix it. They said the rebuilt transmission was shot and he could get me one for around $6000. WHAT!?!?!?! That's a little less than what I paid for it. No way could I afford to fix it I had spent all my money when I bought it. So I'm stuck with a $6000 plus yard ornament. Hey Car Source can you say "We sell LEMONS"? Stop throwing Bob Moore name around like they send you cars people trade in for new ones. They do a complete check out on trade ins and the rejects are sent to auction where your inventory of lemons come from. Therefore you mislead the public by claiming you get all your cars directly from Bob Moore Cadillac.Yeah you get them alright the ones they reject because they have a reputation they care about and customers. Your business is based on one lie after another. You might offer warranties on certain vehicles but that's a lie too they are better at coming up with reasons why they won't fix it. Every word is true and to think I was willing to trade the vehicle I first purchased from them for a different one on their lot, Im sure it would have been one they couldn't sell. I don't have a lot of money actually I make $10hr and live payday to payday. I needed a dependable vehicle to get me to work everyday. I spend all I had trusted what Car Source claimed in their ads. Now I am struggling to make it to work, having to bum,borrow, and ask for a ride just so I can get to my job because I can't afford to go buy another vehicle. Car Source has made my life nightmare and inconvenienced not only me but my boss,my family, and friends because I have to ask who ever available to help me make it to work. If you will notice you can't post any comments on their web site or Facebook profile, there is a reason for that people. Ironic the posts on this site that speak nothing but positive praise are lies once again, those people must be friends,family, or paid because honestly that's not at all what I myself experienced while doing business. I don't even see how people are getting cars because I called to ask about a car and was onto he phone 15 minutes and the whole time I was on a silent hold which means they didn't actually put me on hold they just sat there quietly hoping i would hang up this happened twice. so they missed a sale and since they hung up on me they have a bad review. read more

I went to CarSource to buy a car for my son on September 4, 2021.  The owner of the company directed me to 2001 Infinity and stated "this car is the best on the lot."  I advised the owner the price exceeded the funds I had to spend on the automobile.  The price of the "best car on the lot" was $3,990.00.  I informed the owner I only had $3,000.00 with me and could not provide any more money.  The owner offered to let me sign a Promissory Note for the remaining $990.00.  The arrangement would allow me to pay $330.00 per month to the car lot for three (3) months.   I left the car lot with the purchased vehicle.  Shockingly the car broke down and the window would not "roll back up" within thirty (30) minutes of leaving the business.  The car stalled in the middle of an intersection and would not start.  My son did finally get the car home after some time had lapsed.   I immediately contacted the owner since he had sold me the "best car on the lot" and he instructed me to drive the car back to the car lot.  Since my son lives in Edmond and the business location is Northwest Oklahoma City, I did not feel certain he could safely drive the car back without someone following him.  We made the decision to wait until Monday, September 6, 2021 to return to their mechanic.  The car was left with the mechanic for the entire day.  We retrieved the vehicle late Monday afternoon.  My son encountered problems on the way home and could not drive the vehicle once again.    I immediately attempted to contact the owner.   However, all of my phone calls were ignored and he seemed to purposely avoid contact with me.  Since the car was "undriveable" the car lot had the vehicle towed to their mechanic on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.  The mechanic tried to claim that the car was "ruined" by my son.  The preposterous theory the mechanic tried to suggest was impossible.  The mechanic stated "the car was completely out of gas, causing the fuel pump to fail."  I personally put fuel into the car and the fact that the car was driven less the two (2) hours without failing, the car still had fuel left in the tank.  The mechanic advised me that the fuel pump was replaced; the window mechanism was fixed;  work was performed on the fuel induction system; and transmission fluid was added.   We tried to pick up the car on Thursday, September 9th and as soon as my son started the car he could tell something was not right. I went in and got the mechanic and he came out upset and told my son to get in the car and he would drive and prove to him that it was fine. On the test drive the car slipped twice and jerked. The mechanic had to admit it was not right. He said I am going to go get transmission fluid next door. I specifically asked him if it was the transmission and he said no way. Once he put the transmission fluid then the car was failing all over the place. He told us he could not let my son take the car. He needed to figure out why this was happening. My son picked up the "repaired" vehicle on Friday, September 10, 2021.  The check engine light was displayed once again and he returned to the shop on Saturday, September 11th.  On Tuesday, September 14th the owner made a request that I return to CarSource to discuss the situation.  The owner proceed to inform me that he would not return the vehicle to me unless I paid him $994.00.  I refused and reminded the owner a Promissory Note had been signed by both of us detailing the payment plan.  I advised the owner this document was a valid contract and he could not force me to pay that amount.  I asked that he return the $3,000.00 I paid for the car or he would have to wait for payments per the agreement.  The owner's son agreed and told his father the Promissory Note was a legal document.   I was allowed to again take the car.  By Wednesday, September 15, 2021 the check engine light was on and the car had a "foul smell".  The owner of CarSource informed me each time the car broke down he had no obligation to fix the issues.  The fact that the car only lasted thirty (30) minutes was my problem but they would fix the issues "out of the goodness of their hearts."  The owner said "I should be thankful they are making any repairs." My son has driven the car very little for fear of breaking down again. However, he had a meeting to go to downtown on Saturday, September 18th. He called me when he was on his way and said the transmission was slipping. He stopped at a Gas Station. Went inside got a drink and then got back in. the car. When he started the car the thermostat went straight to hot, then a pop and something blew. Needless to say we have to have the car towed as it is now completely undriveable. The car remains in state of disrepair, has a foul odor, and is not operational.  The owner provided me with a three (3) months warranty at the time of sale.   The warranty only covers $1,000 worth of services. This car is way beyond that. read more

My mother in law purchased a vehicle from them and my grandma-in-law bought a car there. The older gentleman, the owners dad, tried to argue with me because he kept telling me the car he sold my mother in law and my grandma has a warranty but he won't give them the warranty paperwork. He also kept back tracking on when the title was and will be mailed. He originally said he mailed the title then said she can pick it up in the office, then said Friday, then said Thursday (12/12/19). He then finally got my mother in laws paperwork so I can see whats covered since there mechanic broke the dipstick in the holder, he got mad and ripped my mother in laws warranty out of my hand and started yelling at me telling me that he won't give my grandma her title and warranty paperwork and he also wont give my mother in law her warranty paperwork. He then proceeded to cuss me out, cussed out our governor and government and he said "F*** America" I would never buy a vehicle here if it was the last car lot available. read more

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! The only reason I went here was because they advertise a 3month/3,000 mile warranty. When I called ASC Warranty they had no warranty for me. The day I went to the car lot to purchase a vehicle. I had my 5 year old with me. The owners dad who was selling me the car assured me it was a good car. Even said I would never sell you a bad car knowing you will have that little boy riding in it. Before I got home the check engine light came on and the very next day it started having transmission problems. I took it to their mechanic at on the spot. After not hearing anything for a week. I called them and the mechanic tells.me that there is something that needs to be replaced in the transmission and there is alot more problems with this car. The owner them tells me that I would be better off to get the other Acadia that they have but it was $1000 more. I told him I didn't want to get another car that had problems and really couldn't afford another $1000 after paying $5000 already. They allowed me to pay $500 down and then charged me another $395 processig fee and gave me 60 days to pay it out. He assured me nothing was wrong with this one and had his mechanic do a final inspection. Day 2 of having this one it starts having transmission problems. Took it to mechanic. He did a drain and fill and said that it was no longer throwing any codes. It did good for a week. Then starting doing the same thing along with the power steering pump making a awful noise. I had my mechanic check it out and he said the power steering pump needed replaced and for me to take it back to them to check transmission and fix the power steering pump. Took it back to the mechanic today. He tells me that its just a noisy pump that won't hurt anything. I call the car lot and the owners father tells.me that he called the warranty department and they won't cover it. When I responded that I just called the warranty company to make a claim and they have no warranty for me. He got rude and told me it hasn't been processed because of Covid. I will definitely be talking to one of the attorneys at my job. I'm a single mom who works hard for my money for these people to just rip me off!!! read more

Zero stars for this used car dealer/lot. PLEASE don't purchase from these people. My daughter bought my grandson a car here for $3100 just over a month ago with a 90 day warranty. To date I have spent $1200 on repairs and will have to replace two nearly bald tires this week as well as have the air filter replaced. The radiator was not bolted into the car, the fuel pump and alternator were bad and the spark plugs had to be replaced. The fog light on the driver's side is missing completely. The hoses to the wiper fluid were disconnected, there were no working license plate lights and the back break light was hanging out by wires AFTER the car was repaired. The repair shop they insist you take it to (On The Spot ) kept the car for two weeks just to change the fuel pump. These people no doubt realized my daughter and grandson had never bought a used car before. Nothing that has been repaired so far was covered by the warranty. If you buy from this place you will pay them to tow it. After two weeks in the shop the car broke down five miles away from the shop the day my grandson picked it up. The dealer kept saying he was "fixing it for free" AFTER I had paid them. The "free" was them repairing the repairs I had paid for. This had been a nightmare. Please, DON'T GO THERE. read more
