Offer basic services - quick place for an oil change. Nice employees, don't think I've ever waited to be assisted yet although would totally wait if there was a line. My car was really due for some new oil! I remembered driving by a place nearby and decided to give it a try. The seating area is right there in the shop area. I wasn't thrilled with that (I was cold) but so be it. As I expected, they tried to up sell some items like the oil. They also topped off all of my fluids. But this is how they won me --'without asking he mentioned that I have a seal that was allowing oil to leak and that because of where the seal is it would only leak oil while I was driving. The manager (owner?) wasn't trying to sell me to fix it. He just wanted me to know and told me I should look into getting it fixed if I was planning on driving my car long term. First time around, very friendly environment clean and efficient I'm happy with the service that they provide for me highly appreciate it.

I went here this evening to get my oil changed because it was seriously low and a few hundred (okay, a thousand miles) past the time for an oil change. Also. The car was leaking oil from the underside and the night before I'd had to buy a quart of oil because my check engine light went on. The previous place I went to (the one who shall not be named) had neglected to tighten the underside oil pan...by about a half turn, just enough to leak oil at a nice and slow rate. Careless much? To add insult to injury, when my check engine light came on last night and I realized I was in danger of killing my car engine, I had hardly been able to add the quart of oil purchased at a gas station 30 miles from home. The the previous oil change place had super-extra tightened the oil cap to the engine and it was freezing and I had to ask someone to help me open it because even though I am the one everyone goes to in the house to open jars of stuff I could not for the life of me unscrew that lid. Now, according to the very helpful technicians -Steve and Mike- here at Planet Lube, I found out it was a four and a half quart tank and I was down three and a half quarts. Based on the previous nights' added quart...well, you do the math. So not only was I waaaaaay past the mileage for the oil change, my car indeed had been LEAKING. Which I just realized. Which I guess I already knew that by the oil stain on the floor of my garage, but since I don't know much about cars, even this obvious conclusion needed confirmation by a mechanic-type person for me to understand. Anyway, I digress. So briefly, here at the fabulous Planet Lube, Mike and Steve not only did the oil change but also checked fluids, checked and filled tires to accurate pressure, did not pressure sell me on extras, changed the headlight that was burned out, washed the windows, but also turned up the heat when I came there. Do NOT believe the review that says the waiting room is cold. I read it before I came and wore a bazillion layers of clothing and started getting so overheated in there that I was nauseous. I started peeling off layers and said it was too warm and they turned the heat down. It cooled down quickly and I was grateful. Oh, and as a customer here, you can come in and they will top off your car oil FREE until your first 4,000 miles, pressurize (is that a word?) your tires right, and wash your windows. They actually talked about the tasks they were working on while they worked (compare with other big chain oil change place where radio is blaring and often half the guys are standing around chatting). The previous reviews echo my exact sentiment. These guys are pleasant to be around, good at their jobs, quick, and extraordinarily fair. They never push any products, only inform you of a discrepancy. If you're looking for a quick oil change from people you can trust, this is the place to go. They pointed out issues with my car thst they couldn't fix, but recommended I take it to the dealer to correct.
