Not terrible people but not reasonable on price. They did not know the difference between blown speakers and unplugged speakers. Of course after the fact they said it would cost the same to rewire them or rewire them and get new speakers!? I took my car here for internal detailing and the actual cleaning was not bad, which is why they are not getting only one star. The customer service is crap. They forgot to put two cup holders back in my car. I even asked the manager where they were before I left and he told me that they were in the back with the car mats drying. Come to find out they were sitting in the shop. I am trying to sell my car and am moving all the same day and I had to drive an hour to go pick them up. When I get there I find out that they LOST one, and didn't even clean the other one. All I was offered were superficial apologies and the declaration that we are all human. I decided to call a store in Denver to see if anyone could help or lead me in the right direction. Rick went out of his way to help me make the situation right. This was my first experience with Car Toys and I cannot say enough positive things about them. They were FANTASTIC! On Wednesday 3/30 I called Car Toys Park Meadows feeling a bit desperate. My nephew had thrown up in the back seat of my Range Rover and it had seeped into the perforated leather seat. We tried cleaning it ourselves until we could get the car detailed and the smell was very unpleasant. I spoke with Manuel Parada and he could not have been more helpful. He even offered to take my car that day for a full detailing. I brought the car in the next day, 3/31, and because Manuel was not in yet I worked with Manager Jeremy Laster. Jeremy took a look at my car and said that they could take care of the vomit and dog hair (we have 2 huskies) and the car would look brand new. I dropped the car off at 10am. Jeremy called me at 3:30 to let me know that the car looked great. All of the vomit was gone, all of the dog hair was gone, all of the dirt and scratches from a family of 5 skiing every weekend this Winter were gone. My seats and all other leather were conditioned. The attention to detail was amazing. When I picked my car up at 5:30pm both Manuel and Jeremy brought me to my car for inspection. If anything wasn't to my satisfaction they offered to fix it. I could not find one flaw. My car seriously looked brand new. Both Jeremy and Manuel told me that Car Toys Park Meadows is trying to get its name out in public as a detail shop. I can attest to the fact that they deserve your business. From customer service, to attention to detail, to the job itself they were top notch. I will definitely use them again. For those of you who want numbers, I believe the job would have cost $200-$250 if the car only needed a typical detail job. I paid (happily) $330 due to the fact that removing vomit from a car takes far more effort. It was worth it. Thank you to Car Toys. DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. My husband and I bought a radio with installation for our son's car and it has been a nightmare dealing with this place. First, we paid for everything and they had to order the harness for the radio; we were told they would call us to set up an appointment to bring in the car to have the radio installed. No one ever called us back. My husband called a week later and they said oh, yeah we have the part let's make the appointment. We were told installation would take about 3 hours; 5 hours passed and no one called us so my husband called them and he was told oh, we were really busy it won't by ready until the next day. They had the car for 2 full days and when we picked up the car they faceplate on the radio wasn't there. Apparently they had to order that too. They said they'll order it and let us know when they will have it ready so we can bring the car back to have it installed. Of course no one called us back this time. My husband had to call them again. We made an appointment to have the faceplate installed, this time they said it'll be ready in 2 hours,.... we'll 4 hours pass and no one called us. My husband called them and they kept passing the phone around from one employee to another to check if the car is ready, only to be told again oh the faceplate is not the right one; they have to order another one. At this point my husband grew tired of all the BS and told them to simply leave the faceplate as it is. When we picked up the car, they took off the radio we had paid for and don't even have the decency to tell us. When my son got in his car he noticed that his old radio was back in there. They didn't say anything, simply gave my son the keys and that was about it. What the heck? Did they really think we were just going to leave without our money?? It's been more than a month dealing with this place and we are back at square one. they were really nice and helpful until we swiped our card to pay, but then it's like they fell off the face of the Earth. My girlfriend went back with her daughter to get a stereo and have it installed. The sales rep told her a 97 Buick la Sabre was a 4 to 6 hr install job and would be 200.00 additional plus the normal 125.00 and parts. Long story short she paid 325.00 for a 45 min install and they broke the heater and A/C control in the process. Didn't realize the the control wasn't working till after she signed to get the keys. These guys must be paid on commission and target people who aren't car savvy and take advantage. I have been in the auto industry and it infuriates me at the number of shops willing to do anything they can to maximize profits.Car Toys should be ashamed. read more

Recently I purchased a "deal" for auto detailing at Car Toys. I was really excited to see a totally shiny, clean, polished car. Before leaving my car, I asked the detail person to get the water stain off my sunroof. It couldn't be done but for an extra $100 I could get the leather treated. I waited all day to get my car back. The tires were shined, the interior was mostly clean. It was dusted but the windows were all streaked. The inside of the running boards had not been touched. The console, which I had emptied in hopes of it getting cleaned, was also not touched. I'm amazed that it took her all day to do this job. It did have a very nice wash job but I'm not sure it was worth the money even though it was a "deal." Word to the wise.....take your detailing work somewhere else. read more

If you are looking for an honest business, this establishment is not the place! After saving my money all summer for new speakers, I trusted car toys "expertise" to get my car sounding right. When I left their facility I could truly say that my STOCK speakers in my 2004 Honda sounded better than their premium JL audio speakers. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take my car back in since I left for Florida the next day. I called them once I reached Florida and they told me to bring it back in. (Since there are no car toys in Florida). 2yrs later when I finally arrive back in Colorado to get them checked they tell me that my speakers are blown and their is nothing they can do. I explained to them that these speakers have sounded bad since the day I got them... but they decided to argue with me and give me a $50 discount on labor. I would never trust car toys to operate on my car again. In fact, I would rather pay $300 more on service fees somewhere else knowing that my car will be handled honestly and respectfully. If you are looking to upgrade your car speakers "A better way to go" would be going somewhere else. read more

So I went in today to buy a stereo and I claimed to come with a free backup camera. Cool and all. So I purchased said stereo (a Kenwood DDX 393) and paid the $120 installation fee. I had assumed that while they installed the stereo they would install the backup camera and that it would be included in the final price paid (as they had not shown me the full itemized receipt). When I came back I found that it (the camera) had not been installed and upon asking why was simply told that "I never mentioned a back-up camera installation" and "the included free back-up camera would not fit my vehicle". I was also informed that to get one that would work with my car (a 03' Forester) it would cost another $175 in installation and they agreed to give me the compatible camera for a discounted price of $52. This in my opinion is an outrageous charge for a simple camera installation. Why is it so expensive? They "have to take apart the whole lift-gate to install it". The actual service provided by Steven (one of the technicians)was excellent. However.. an employee was very rude over the phone when I had a issue they caused. One of the technicians forgot to plug in the passenger air bag sensor. Like I said it wasn't a big deal to me. As I called an employee answered; He went by (Zac) gave me a fake name because his vulgar language, and tone. As he proceeds to curse up a storm over the phone, I asked to speak to the manger. He told me he was the manger and that it's not their issue. He told me that none of their technicians work anywhere near the airbag so they couldn't have caused the issue. He continued to talk over me using absurd language and being Very unprofessional and hung up on my while I was talking. I called a second time 20 minutes later to have an actual manger pick up that goes by (Tyler) I don't know if this was true or not, but he was respectful and helpful on helping me resolve my issue. However he seemed to cover up for the employee that went by the name (Zac). He told me to come in so they can plug the airbag plug back in. Steven yet again amazed me by simply fixing it and being professional and polite. I would recommend his service. Unfortunately he may be the only quality employee that I encountered. Bought their "service plan" and it took TWO MONTHS to get my phone fixed.... the repair was explicitly written into the $200 service plan I bought but they make you jump through hoop after hoop. My wife and I just had a great experience at the Park Meadows location. Manny was our sales person. Manny spend a good hour or so walking us thru our options to replace a factory stereo and speakers in one of our cars. He was very knowledgable and fun to work with. Manny created an estimate that outlined the work that needed to be done. It was pretty pricey, however the work we needed done was pretty involved. We didn't have time that day for the install, so we put a deposit down and made plans to do the install the following weekend. We had something pop up and decided to not follow thru with the purchase. My wife went back a few days later and requested a refund. Manny gladly made that happen. To us, the service we received from Manny was top notch and would recommend him and Car Toys to all of our friends and family. read more

Kudos to Patrick Welch!! I had an issue with a device installed back in 2005. They came out to the vehicle and helped me resolve the issue right away. I came back the next day and wanted to have my headlights "renewed" and maybe have it detailed. Patrick was very helpful and made some great recommendations. He made sure I knew what he could and couldn't accomplish so that I didn't waste money and so that my expectations could be set. They not only did a great job installing the equipment, they cleaned up the headlights where a lot of oxidation had occurred and made them look brand new. He had never heard of it, he went on to tell me that all car toys are the same and nobody sells speaker wire that large. I think most people don't (or can't) take the time to write reviews or provide feedback online for most products and services they receive. We're all pretty busy on a daily basis. Most who do, I think, are either your everyday complainers, or someone who genuinely had a pleasant experience that justifies taking some time from their day to write a review. I know my time is pretty tight and so I will write a review usually only if I receive very good or very bad service. If it's the latter, I won't be extreme or write just because I felt disregarded or had my feelings hurt at a particular store. Too many emo people out there and I don't want to be another one lol. The wording always gives away a review. Was this a mature review or just another pain in the ass out there frustrated because no one listens to them (because they're a pain in the ass). Also, before I pay any regard to reviews, I usually check the person's other reviews. If they only have a few, or if they are in general mature in nature and not extreme in an attempt to "punish" whoever hurt their feelings that day, then they may be the latter group I described above and I may consider their opinion. Anyway I wouldn't purchase my car stereo products anywhere except this store at this location. This was my first experience at this store and I was satisfied as a customer there. Jeremy is extremely helpful. He always goes above and beyond for anyone he works with. I have several cars with both high and low end systems. On 12-23-2015 my lovely wife and daughter walked into this store to purchase me an Auto Start for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma for my Christmas present. When I received the gift on Christmas they both related that the had good service in regards to the sale. That's were the story changes. I took my truck into the store the day after Christmas for the installation, and thanked them for the great sales service they gave my family. The manager immediately handed me a sheet of paper asking for a good rating on YELP because they have recently had some bad reviews. Fearing this was a sign, I waited until today to give my review. Upon picking up my truck I learned later that evening that the two exterior rear view mirrors were no longer working. I called and they nonchalantly asked me when I wanted to bring the truck back in. I took my truck in the next morning and when I was explaining why I was there, a rather rude employee standing behind the counter told me I did not have electronic mirrors "inside" my truck. NEVER was there an apology for the error or inconvenience. When I asked if there was a warranty for this product or the work they only offered to sell me an additional coverage for $50.00. I have no paperwork for the item, although they said it SHOULD have been in the back seat of my truck. I will have to say that the customer service stops at the sales desk, and apparently they are only concerned with $$$, not customer satisfaction, or return business. As I am aware that these reports are read by the manager, I wonder if he will address these internal matters, and or reach out to the long list of dissatisfied customers. I purchased a bluetooth system for my car that will work with my iPhone. The price was fine and the install was efficiently done. I recommend them to a friend and she was equally happy. These systems will sometimes loose the connection with the phone but after taking it back to correct the bug (not an install problem) they quickly got everything synched up again. Great service including after the sale. I keep recommending them to other friends and Car Toys keeps us all happy. Jeremy was stellar! read more

So I came in to the store not knowing about car stereos but wanted to get subs and a stereo. First guy i talked to was a typical salesmen to to up-sell everything then i worked with another guy that actually was trying to help me figure what i wanted for my budget. The second guy made my stereo buying experience great. However, they are the most disorganized company I have ever seen. I was told that they could fix my car on a certain day, but I start work before they open so I brought it in the night before so it would be done by when i get off work. And even if it wasn't done by then i would be ok with that. Then they call me in the middle of the day while i'm at work so i cant respond but I called them an hour later. They didn't know they called me, ok just a mistake. I call again 4 hours later hoping they had started at least. They had me on hold for 10 minutes trying to find my car, come to find out they hadn't been working on my car. So not i'm out a car for 2 whole days. They are just way too disorganized I don't know how they function. You can buy things from them but don't bother having them install it, they charge a lot of money and forget about your car. read more

Brought my car in to have a new stereo deck installed after the factory tape deck stopped working with the tape converter. Bought a lower end pioneer system, just something to listen to music through. The signage in the store has a price that includes install. Be prepared that the listed install price doesn't include parts. I can understand that, I guess. I got the unit installed and tried to make a call through the Bluetooth and no sound came through the speakers. Took it back to car toys to see what was wrong and was told that the first install guy forgot a part...and now they needed more money for the part and more money for the labor to figure out what was wrong (even though they were the ones who erred in the first place). So now I am paying them to diagnose a problem that they caused in the first place. No apology was offered and nothing was offered as consolation for the return trip I had to make to the store. Once this unit is fully functional, I will probably seek out a new place to shop for car audio... read more

Wow, Car Toys had what seemed like some great Black Friday deals that got me keen to upgrade the head unit in my truck. I had previously used the Park Meadows branch to install a better system in my wife's car without any major problems other than wondering how they could justify charging so much for a dash fit kit and installing a simple single-DIN unit that took 45 minutes. Anyway, I had in mind a unit advertised for $399 including installation to which I could add a backup camera. The sales guy said the price would be about $640, later reduced to $598, installed with the dash kit and with the USB in the center console rather than in the glovebox (which I hadn't asked for). If I added a backup camera it would balloon to $840. WTF! I figured I would see what other reputable retailers sell for online. The exact same units are on sale at multiple vendors for the same price. Crutchfield.com throws in the exact same dash kit for $9 and the wiring harness for free! So, on Crutchfield's site I can buy the same unit plus a high quality backup camera and all the other stuff, including tools, I need to install the complete set up for around $550. That's $300 cheaper than Car Toys with its "free installation" deal. It might take me three time longer to install the unit than the CT guys but after watching a few YouTube videos, I'm confident I'll do it right. I'll be very wary of Car Toys "Lowest Prices in America" in the future! read more

Miserable customer service. Thought everything was going great even though the first install took quite a bit longer, then come to find out I didn't get a base knob which I was so kindly talked into, granted I didn't pay for it but still don't make something sound so great and not do it. I purposefully bought the higher end steering wheel control adapter to be able to answer and hang up. Came home without having a clue how to operate my stereo and with my stereo controls working when they wanted to and answer and hang up not working at all. Manager seemed very friendly to get the hole issue fixed however waiting six hours for my car to be returned to me I have ten times the issues this place is bs and don't know how to do their jobs correctly. My boy friend inspected how everything was installed and it looks like they just threw it in there and hoped it worked. Will not be spending anything else at Car Toys I'll pay the little more to get the job done right the first time read more
