H M Brown Automotive - Who doesn't want that big red bow on their brand new vehicle?!

Working with Macy at H M Brown was the best car-buying experience I've ever had…read more I found a few cars I liked on the site, and Macy brought them all to my house for test drives. I handled the financing from home too--filled out a quick form online and heard back within hours with a rate lower than anything I'd found shopping around myself. Once we found the car I wanted (a 2024 Mazda in perfect condition), wrapping everything up was incredibly easy. No hidden fees like you get at other dealers. The only time I had to visit their location was to pick up my car and sign a couple papers. This was my first time buying from H M Brown, but now I'm a customer for life.

Extremely disappointing experience with HM Brown Automotive…read more I was purchasing a vehicle through another dealership that had confirmed the vehicle was available in HM Brown's inventory. HM Brown was aware that the other dealership had a buyer for the vehicle and was proceeding with the sale. The next day, when the dealership contacted HM Brown to arrange transportation, they were told that HM Brown had sold the vehicle to someone else. To be clear, this wasn't simply a situation where a vehicle happened to sell before we could buy it. HM Brown knew there was an active transaction involving the vehicle and another dealership, yet chose to sell it out from under that transaction. I understand that dealerships want to sell vehicles, but I also expect businesses to operate with integrity and honor their commitments. This experience made it very clear that I could not trust HM Brown Automotive to do so. I would not recommend this dealership, and based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to do business with them in the future.

A week later, Ephi texted saying the vehicle was still available and that the dealership was now ready to compromise. She sent pricing details and service paperwork at 11:58 a.m. Because I was at work in back-to-back meetings, I was trying to coordinate with my husband during the day. We decided he would stop by after work to finally see the vehicle in person since we had only seen online photos and videos. He drove 25 minutes out of his way, only to be told by another salesperson that the vehicle had sold at noon. The frustrating part is that Ephi never bothered to let us know the vehicle had already sold, even though she had just sent us paperwork minutes earlier. That means she was actively discussing the vehicle with us while it was apparently being sold to someone else. I understand dealerships want to make a sale, but basic communication and respect for customers' time should be expected. We were actively working our jobs while trying to coordinate this purchase, and those jobs are what bring in the money allowing us to buy a vehicle. Also, my husband wasted a significant amount of time driving to see a vehicle that was no longer available. In the beginning they promised to change our opinion of the car buying process after being burned previously and they failed miserably at that.

Nico came over to help us, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions and even anticipated a few I didn't know I should ask. I decided then I would come back to test drive the Model Y a few weeks later after my upcoming work trip. Unfortunately, the blizzard happened and then my partner accidentally packed the other car keys, making getting to my test drive pretty impossible. Nico had been checking in and following up via text message and when I let him know what happened he made a quick decision to make this possible. That's when I really experienced the above and beyond customer service at Tesla. Nico offered to pick me up in the Model Y, so I could at least drive it and see if it was the car for me. I do not live near the mall. So this was way out of the way and incredibly generous. I don't need to go into how great the Model Y was because you should just go test drive one for yourself. By the time I arrived at park meadows, I knew it was the car for me. Their process as far as car applications goes, is by far the quickest and most efficient I've ever experienced. No more spending hours at a dealership, waiting around for someone to negotiate and waste your time. They pulled up the application on the computer, I paid my $100, picked my features and was approved immediately. 15 minutes later, the Tesla was ordered and I was out the door. Everything else I had to do between that moment and pick up of my car was done on my phone via app and website. So EASY! Seriously! Upload insurance, pay down payment all via Tesla site. Simple steps, no confusion. When my car arrived in Denver, I received a text to setup my pickup date and then it was done! I highly recommend this process and this dealership. I've never had a more pleasant car buying experience and the Model Y is equally as impressive.

My Pathetic Experience with Tesla (Lone Tree - Park Meadows Location)…read more I want to share one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with Tesla. We had a word with Kevin on Sunday, and he clearly told us that we only needed to pay $250 to block the car -- nothing more. But later, when we were filling out the application, Francis informed us at the end that we'd have to pay $1,700 for the lease. We were never told that upfront. The lack of transparency and communication was shocking. We ended up waiting there for hours -- from 2 PM to almost 6 PM -- while they struggled to figure out the financing details. My lease application was rejected, but later it got approved for finance, and they even asked me to bring a co-signer. Despite that, the whole process was extremely disorganized and stressful. To make things worse, they refused to refund my $250 and told me to call Tesla Insurance myself to get back the $299 refund -- even though I don't even have a car now. It was an unbelievably painful, frustrating, and time-wasting experience. I honestly didn't expect this level of confusion and lack of accountability from Tesla. Beware before you visit the Tesla Lone Tree - Park Meadows location, especially if you're dealing with financing or registration. It's a total nightmare

If you're in the market for a truck, there is plenty to choose from with their selection of Tundras and Tacomas (definitely the guy-truck crowd!). Autonation has/had a nice selection of gold certified, 2025 4Runners and there was one TRD Premium with only 1,500 miles on it. It was an absolute dream to test drive (everything is nowadays compared to 15yr old "Brady"). Of course, the sticker shock set in once the taxes and fees were added, so I'm still debating any commitment. #ServiceStarShoutOut to Cornell, who was by far the best sales associate to approach us. He took the time to talk with us about the vehicle's features and warranty options without ever making us feel pressured. I totally appreciated his honesty when discussing add-ons, advising us that things like appearance protection (a sticker spotted on many vehicles) aren't always necessary. If you're shopping for a Toyota, I would absolutely recommend asking for Cornell.

I explicitly told the service advisor that I was taking this vehicle on a road trip to another state and needed it to be completely safe. Instead, this service department handed me back a vehicle that was an absolute hazard to drive. The technicians committed multiple severe, amateur mechanical failures: Unbolted Skid Plate: They completely failed to bolt the heavy metal skid plate back onto the underside of the vehicle. A hanging skid plate can easily rip off at highway speeds, causing catastrophic damage to my truck or drivers behind me. Loose Oil Cap: The engine oil cap was barely hand-tight. Had it vibrated off on my road trip, it would have sprayed hot engine oil everywhere, potentially causing an engine fire or destroying the motor. Improper Tire Inflation: After spending over $1,500.00 here, including brand-new tires, they couldn't even fill them correctly. There was a dangerous 10 PSI variance between the tires. When I called the dealership to report these severe safety hazards, the response was incredibly ignorant and dismissive. I was told "sorry this happened, when you come back again tell your service manager." There is zero accountability for putting my life at risk on an interstate trip. This is extreme negligence.

EchoPark advertises a 190-point inspection and states on its website that vehicles have no fluid leaks and that brake pads under 4 mm are replaced before sale. My independent Audi specialist found: * An upper timing cover oil leak. * A lower oil pan gasket leak. * Rear brake pads measuring approximately 2 mm. When I brought these findings to EchoPark, they acknowledged the oil leaks but dismissed them as "minor seeps" that met their standards and said they would not repair them. Their explanation was essentially that because oil wasn't dripping onto the ground, they didn't consider it a problem. The brake pads were even more concerning. EchoPark's own published standard says pads below 4 mm should be replaced, yet this vehicle was being sold with approximately 2 mm remaining. Only after I pointed this out did they say they would "look into" replacing them. This wasn't a cheap vehicle either. It was priced above the average market value for comparable Q3s, yet would have required nearly $3,000 in immediate repairs according to my mechanic. The most disappointing part wasn't even the condition of the car. It was the response. Rather than standing behind their inspection process or working toward a reasonable resolution, they simply dismissed legitimate concerns identified by an independent German automotive specialist. If I had trusted EchoPark's inspection instead of paying for my own, I would have driven home in a vehicle with multiple oil leaks and brake pads at the end of their service life. If you're considering buying from EchoPark, spend the money on an independent pre-purchase inspection. It may save you thousands.

Unfortunately, taking possession of the vehicle was a completely different experience. Wendy wasn't available when my daughter and I arrived to pick up her new 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, so she left the key with another salesperson, Art. From the moment we arrived, there was no greeting, no congratulations, no walk to the vehicle, no "thank you for your business," and no offer to explain any of the vehicle's features or answer questions. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers taking delivery of a brand-new vehicle. I understand it wasn't Art's sale, but representing the dealership professionally should not depend on whose customer it is. Delivery day is supposed to be exciting, especially for someone purchasing a new vehicle. My daughter was incredibly proud of her new Santa Fe, and that moment was diminished by the lack of basic customer service. For comparison, when I purchased a vehicle from McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, everyone there was welcoming, professional, and made the delivery feel special. The difference between the two dealerships was striking. It's unfortunate that what started as a very positive buying experience with Wendy ended on such a disappointing note. I hope management recognizes that the delivery experience is just as important as the sale itself.

This issue persisted to the point that I had to take the car in TWO additional times over the course of TWO months. At this point, they forced to me to pay an additional $2000 which is over the value of the car at this point because in their own words, "we couldn't see the issue until we dug deep enough". I basically got baited into buying a new car in terms of value for an issue that either should only been a few grand. If I knew how much it would cost in total, I would've scrapped the entire vehicle and purchased another one. DO NOT go to Arapahoe Hyundai.
