Allowing them to Frankenstein them into one car. I took my car to a local VW dealership for a warranty issue. And to have a second key made. It turns out my car has three VIN numbers. One in the windshield, one on the wiring harness/security system and one last one on the engine block. After I purchased my car I saw them rebuilding a van in the back lot. They even said it was so they didn't have to report it on Carfax. Huge red flag but unfortunately after I had already given them the money for my vehicle. I tried go back about issues I was having with my car. I was told "What do you expect it is a used car?" Well I didn't expect them to misfile my paperwork with DMV, I didn't expect the three VIN numbers on one car, I expected to be able to get a key made. On the purchase contract I wanted two blemishes that chipped the paint repaired. They used one of those touch up pens trying to color match the car. Even after complaining it wasn't up to standard. I once again heard "What do you expect? It is a used car" I expect you to honor your written contacts. I expect my car to have only one VIN number. I expect them not to commit fraud by subcontracting things like mayor bodywork to avoid the Carfax report. I expect that if they didn't fill the DMV forms out correctly to correct that. Not to tell me tough get out. Frank is a nice understanding guy unless Fred is there next to him. Then suddenly he would never say bring it back we will take care of it. We worked with Kody Manalo and were very clear about what we wanted: a white AWD RAV4 Hybrid with no unnecessary extras. We agreed on a price, received it in writing, paid a $500 deposit, and were given a VIN for the vehicle we were waiting for. On August 26, Kody told us our car had arrived. When we came in the next morning, we immediately noticed extras we had specifically said we didn't want. I checked the VIN and discovered THIS WAS NOT THE CAR WE HAD BEEN GIVEN THE VIN FOR. It was a different vehicle with a higher price. We immediately questioned Kody about it. He told us not to worry and that our agreed price would stay the same. Based on that assurance, I signed paperwork reflecting the original price. About 30 minutes later, he came back and told us the price was changing because this was a different vehicle -- almost $3,000 more. I asked what happened to the RAV4 we had waited two months for, and I never received a clear explanation beyond an "internal miscommunication." We asked for a manager. Remi Chun (Remington) came to our table. We specifically asked if he was a manager, and he confirmed that he was. He acknowledged that this was their internal mistake but said they would not honor our original price. I later discovered that Findlay Toyota's own website lists Remi Chun as a "Sales Associate," not a Sales Manager. The whole experience honestly felt like a well-organized scam. People told us things directly to our faces, only to change the story shortly afterward. We were basically given two options: pay almost $3,000 more for a different vehicle with extras we never wanted, or start over and wait potentially another two months. Unfortunately, my previous car had broken down and I had already been paying for a rental for about a month. After almost 4 hours of arguing and feeling completely misled, I finally gave up and signed. I love my RAV4, but there was zero excitement left when I bought it. I just wanted to get out of that dealership. Please be aware of this SCAM inside the dealership!!!!!

I spent 2 weeks trying to get the car repaired. The salesperson lied about the features of the car. They lied to the bank to get the car financed and when the bank called me and I told them the truth I had to return the car. Even worse though, they lied to me to get me to bring the car back, which I would've done in any case. Then, they wouldn't return my down payment. Steer clear. Like I said, you have a lot of other options around town.

Let's call them SUPER SHITTY AUTO SALES because clearly that's what they sale. - July, 2021, I got a beautiful looking 2011 Black Mini Cooper S that gave me no issues until a few days after financing it. When I say issues , I mean , it can no longer pass smog, it will not start, it blows out white smoke from tailpipe, broken cylinder, and has a very bad wheel alignment that can't be fixed due to an "accident" that I was NEVER aware about.....great right? - My key hardly worked so they told me they could fix it......I still don't have a working key. It's 05/2022. - They gave me the car NOT detailed. They told me to come back to have it detailed, so I called, called, called, and CALLED, and my car never got detailed. Again it's 2022 now and not once was it detailed. I went home with a used car that multiple people test drove and never got it detailed it, great right? - They also tried to repo my car for "non payments" but they never told me when, where, and how much my payments were going to be...mhm kinda weird - Alright, let's get to the interesting part....after financing this car, I started to notice white smoke coming from the tailpipe as I accelerate or let my car idle for more then 5 minutes. I called them, they said "there's nothing we can do. It's under new management. All your papers got lost" , Excuse me? - This was going on for months, and Super Shitty Auto Sales didn't care, all they wanted was my money. - They told me there maintenance guy wasn't allowed to look at my car once it's taken off the lot. Why? - I got fed up with this place known as SUPER SHITTY AUTO SALES, so I asked for a recommendation to take my car to get it fixed. Great right? - The photos below show that they sold me a lemon car. It failed emissions inspection 02/2020 and 10/2020. It then mysteriously passed 12/2020 when it arrived on Super Shitty Auto Sales lot. I then bought the car, in July, which let me have a good emissions test 09/2021.... I got an oil change 10/21.... and within days after paying $130 for my oil change... it says I'm low on oil. SUPER SHITTY AUTO SALES SOLD ME A LEMON CAR AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT. We came here looking for an Honda Accord and ended up testing the vehicle. I was worried that my friend would actually buy a broken car. Thirsty from the Indian Summer, I went to 7-11 to buy a drink and already noticed the transmission giving out. I was worried the sales would pretend it was nothing and still sell, but this was not the case. The owner told him it had problems when he heard it and asked if we wanted to see another car.

Despite the service advisor's assurance that all requested tasks were finished, we are skeptical that the extensive work reported could be completed in such a short timeframe. We were charged over $3,000 in labor for less than two days of work. Given this experience, I do not recommend this location for automotive service needs.
