Went to buy a 2018 Gray Honda civic type R, however when I was being shown one the color which was Black & was definitely not right but the sales rep. was certain it was just color difference in online photos, I took the car for a test drive clutch felt like it was slipping in first gear but she was insisting that it was just my imagination and it went through their inspection and passed. After half way through signing the sales manager introduced himself to me only to tell me then that the car I test drove was not the 2018 but the 2021. when I asked to go see the car I was half way through signing for I was in disbelief. The 2018 in the right color was in terrible condition it needed to replace the Driver side fender, Battery, Brake pads, and all 4 tires!?!? I ended up buying the 2021 after that. A month of ownership the fork throwout bearing for the clutch goes out, Their is no clutch face left, oxygen sensor needed to be replaced as a check engine light was thrown on the dash and my serpentine belt was cracked!? After I had all of those taken cared of I immediately cancelled my Extended warranties they had sold me as well as my oil changes. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR INSPECTIONS ON THEIR INVENTORY. HAVE A TRUSTED TECHNICIAN YOU KNOW DO ONE FOR YOU. Do yourself a favor and stay away from AutoNation, Carmax & Carvana they are all the same. I walked out to go get an uber but I seen this auto dealership that was filled with 5 times as many vehicles than solid motors and when I went in I was attended to and they were quick to try and understand my frustration.
