Disappointing... Ordered a medium peperoni pizza the other night. Arrived 25 minutes after placing the order (as that's when they said it would be ready) and it wasn't even in the oven yet; they weren't busy! When I get home, we find that they used white sauce rather than pizza sauce - this wasn't what we ordered. OK, mistakes happen so giving them the benefit of the doubt, we tried them the next day for subs. We ordered a chicken philly and a pulled pork sandwich. The guy answering the phone said, "we don't have sandwiches". I asked, then why is it on the menu - he looked and said, "hmm, well I guess we do." I was told by one of the staff that this guy has worked there for over a year. Well, the chicken philly was horrid - the peppers were raw rather than grilled, the chicken was barely warm, and the sub had no flavor. The pulled pork was cold with bbq sauce poured on top. We stopped at this location because it was right next to the library. I ordered two slice deal and garlic bread with cheese. The slice I ordered was cheese and the other pepperoni. The location was closed for dining and no restrooms available. I assume still covid precautions? They had a bell to push for service. The employee seemed nice. The cheese slice was for my son and he refused to eat it because it was too crunchy.. aka almost burnt on the whole piece, only half edible. So I gave him my pepperoni slice was slightly better. The garlic bread was nothing spectacular. I love the caraglios on latta so from now on I will just frequent there and make the drive. This location wasn't that impressive. read more

Gave this pizza joint 3 stars because that's what I paid for a slice. 3 stars for $3 worth of pizza really thought the slices would be a bit bigger but the pizza looks tasty. More upsetting than the slice size will be the fact I have to listen to my girlfriend complain about it for the rest of the day. We ordered Pizza Saturday night for my 52nd Birthday. My kids were told when they got there at 630pm the pizza wasn't ready. My son-in-law went back to get the pizza and wings. I have to say that this was the WORST pizza and wings. EVER! The chicken wings were RAW! Pizza wasn't cooked all the way. We tossed it out! When my son-in law called them to complain - he was told that because it was an on line order - they couldn't refund the monies to his card and they are short staffed. Being short staffed doesn't mean that you should serve raw chicken. Luckily we didn't get sick from it. There are Pizza places all over Rochester. My advise drive right by this place. WoWoWoWoWoW --- Crazy to see all these harsh ratings. True...Gates has A LOT of outstanding pizzerias in the area and we're very fortunate for that, but Caraglio's is indeed one of them. We get our pizza and wings from here all the time. You can never judge a pizza place by their slices. We are well aware that you're not getting a slice just out of the oven the first time when you get a slice. We know that going into it, so in my opinion, it's not a fair representation of what this place is all about. Every time we have ordered a pie from here, we've been blown away by the quality of the pizza. They are generous with the toppings and their bleu cheese is legit. Their chicken wings (boneless and traditional) are always top notch in the sense they are crispy and sauced nicely. They have a good buffalo sauce. I tend to get them dry and put my own Sal's sauce on them upon arrival at home. Their pizza is right up their with their friendly competitors around the corners (Guida's and Perri's). We tend to go here more often due to their Large Pie and and order of boneless wings for $10.50 , best deal in the 585 right now. read more

Tried the pepperoni slice the other day and was far from impressed on what little care they actually put into making it considering they can literally toss a rock at one of thier top tier competitors Guidas. What a joke! Grabbed two slices on my way home from work at 8pm tonight which is about a 10-minute ride. Got home and it was if the pieces were sitting in my car all day. Hard as a rock. You could use the buffalo chicken slice as a paperweight. The second slice is cheese and pepperoni. Where's the pepperoni? Where's the cheese? Dry, bland, tough...cardboard triangles. Couldnt even eat the buffalo chicken slice...tossed it. Just disgusting. This place blows. I swear they're the only place that can overcook a pizza without it being crispy. What temperature is their oven? Is it a microwave? The same thing with the wings. The boneless wings aren't crispy at all, the breading falls right off. Do they have a small fryer? Or just overcrowd it? Maybe they nuke everything. I don't know why the ratings are so low (2.0 as of 07/22/2020) I think the place is pretty good but what do I know ? What I do know is that we have better Pizza than Italy as I their in November and we blow there their Pizza away. I was their 9 days. A stark contrast from their locations just up in Greece, this branch fails on so many levels it's almost comical. The only reason I chose this location was because of the distance, only five minutes away. Unfortunately, it didn't really improve upon that. Pizza was costly compared to what I usually spend and even with the coupon, the total was still higher then I wanted it to be. The only thing ordered was a "extra large" cheese pizza with wings and with the coupon, free mozzarella sticks as tat was the only one I had at the moment. It sounds like a lot of food but in truth, it is not. The pizza wasn't that large to begin with due to the way they sliced it. It consisted of sixteen small slices that weren't cut very well which made each slice look smaller then the first. The cheese didn't look that appealing and was very dark in color but the crust was nice and fluffy. The real only positive I have to say about the pizza was that it was grease free, not a single drop oozed anywhere. However, that may not be such a good thing because it makes me question how they make the pizza but meh, can't complain. The actual taste had some flavor to it which I suspect is found in the other locations but the whole presentation was just so underwhelming, I couldn't be excited at all. The wings were alright but they forgot the ranch as a side dish, had to eat the small sticks with no dip! The free mozzarella sticks tasted like they came out of a package and with only four included, I'm glad it was free. I really hope that the two Greece locations fair better then this one because if this is the best Caraglio's has to offer, I'll stick with the stunning pizza place just a short walk down the street to get what I want. read more

I recently placed a review here by accident because the establishment name was similar. I have since recinded and moved that review to the proper location. The wings were pretty good, but very pricey. At $9.50 a dozen you are not winning any awards for cheapest wing. They were of decent size and cooked properly, crispy and tender. Went with the buffalo medium sauce and it was very tasty. The pizza was all right, nothing special. I did not care for the pepperoni, it had a strange taste to it. I can't put my finger on it but it really threw me off. Crust was medium to thin and it was cooked properly. I did not care for the sauce, but it want awful and it was plentiful. I was able to print out a coupon from their website for Tuesday's pizza night, $7.99 for a large cheese, which is a deal. read more

This is not the first time my order was extremely late and all messed up! The order took one hour and 15 minutes way over quoted 45 minutes, it was a veggie pizza that comes with white garlic sauce and yes they put red sauce and veggies were all soggy and disgusting in the red sauce. This is a great one! Lol we ordered a a pizza at 5:00 with 20 people at our house for football this evening. 2 hours later, no pizza. We called and they said the driver was on his way. 30 minutes later, no pizza. Called again and the driver delivered it to the wrong house. So not only did my Initialed neighbors who took the pizza, the dumb delivery driver didn't collect payment. So when we called they driver says "well obviously I delivered to the wrong house." Pizza is good but customer service is obnoxiously bad. Took me 25 minutes to get 1 slice of pizza. After 15 minutes they asked me what I was waiting for and I said a slice of pep and the girl in the back said "whoops I forgot to put that in". I e-mail the business to let them know how awful the service was and Jacob Lippens wrote me back apologizing and asked for my address so he could send me gift cards to make up for it. Very poor customer service the woman who said she was the assistant manger was very rude and unprofessional would not take my $2.00 coupon because it was not printed out on my $50 order.
