I moved to Texas in '82 and only got back to Rochester a few years ago. I didn't realize Nino's was still in business till just recently. I stopped in there tonight and ordered an extra large Sicilian pie. Nino's son Jimmy is running it now. The place is a liite different inside but the pizza is as good as I remember...that marinara sauce is still the same, flavorful and slightly sweet, loaded with mozzarella and a very generous amount of fresh toppings, all at a very reasonable price. I've traveled the world since I've been gone, even to Italy, and I don't remember pizza better than this. I'm glad they are still around. If you're looking for a great Sicilian pie, look no farther then Nino's... Molto bene!

We also had a few cocktails, and while they were somewhat small, you could tell they weren't watered down in any way. Two drinks was more than enough for me. The decor was also nice and bright, with a unique twist with decor. Louis also mentioned they source most ingredients locally, which is noticeable in the freshness of every bite. He was kind enough to offer me a New York-style cheese slice, which was also delicious! While a little pricey, the quality justifies the price. I can't wait to return!
