I didn't realize the traffic was going to be as bad as it was, however, I did call to let them know I was going to be late. There is a grace period but I didn't know how strict or not they were about it. I get to my appointment and right away, it's not a friendly and welcoming vibe. The person at the front (who was different than the one I had seen earlier the week before) and the person who worked on my hair seemed like they didn't want to be there at all and it showed. Bottom line - not worth it. I love treating and pampering myself, and this experience was quite frankly - awful. At times, it was actually painful because she just didn't care and was pulling my hair. I actually held my breath at times because I thought she was going to burn me with the hair tool. My hair was in desperate need of a cut and color. It was long, drier than the Sahara, three different types of brown and overall a hot mess. She is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Her passion for hair shows in the quality of her work. Not only is she sweet and friendly but professional with outstanding attention to detail. There is no loud music or television--just a calm atmosphere where you can truly enjoy being pampered. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional and gracious. The receptionist warmly greeted me and invited me to relax in their comfortable lounge. My nail technician, Azelle, was amazing! She carefully assessed my nails and gave me a beautiful gel nail treatment. What impressed me most was how gentle and attentive she was. There was no painful cutting, aggressive filing, or accidental deep filing. She treated my nails with loving care while staying extremely professional and precise. While I was getting my nails done, I was offered a latte with several flavors to choose from. I selected the gingerbread latte, and it was delicious! Such a lovely touch. I have been to hundreds of salons over the years to have my nails done, and Noire Luxe stands above them all. I was so pleased with Azelle that I immediately made two more appointments with her.
