Horrible customer service. If there was a ZERO STAR option I would gladly give it. I went on their website to request a quote on Monday, August 12th. I uploaded pictures as instructed. I received a text shortly after from 737 252 7400 ( if you Google this number it comes up as CarBodyLab, 429 Lenox Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139) The text was requesting additional pictures which i texted. Didn't hear back anything. Tuesday, August 13th, I sent another text which no one responded to. On the same day I sent an email to nelson@carbodylab.com explaining that someone texted me requesting additional pictures, I sent them and didn't hear anything. He asked me to email the pictures. Then he goes ghost. No response and it's Wednesday, August 14th. In this economy, I'm not going to BEG a business to take my money. Use them at your own risk. Not sure how they can repair vehicles when they can't even respond to simple methods of communication. read more

My experience with Car body lab came at honestly by accident. I had some scratches on the front bumper from a car scraping me. I went to the dealership and received a quote for nearly $2,000. On the way home I said to myself there is no way it should be that much so I looked up auto body corrections. Car body lab came up and I was excited because it is an at home service so I don't need to worry about leaving my car anywhere, or getting a rental car. The app makes the process so smooth and easy, you upload pictures and the application generates an easy and understandable quote for you to review which came back 1/3 the cost of the dealership. Next you schedule. All things that seem obvious but try to get scheduled at an auto body shop or dealership you will understand it's more than a process. Next Robert (technician) from the Tampa area came and started his job on the paint. It wasn't the best weather out but Robert pushed through. We had the car in the garage and he kept pushing through even though from time to time it poured on him. He was methodical, communicative, and transparent through the whole process. Absolutely outstanding! Then came the down pour and the rain shifted enough to come inside the garage and actually get on the wet paint he just finished, if Robert wouldn't have pointed it out that the paint got wet, I don't believe I would have noticed but he wasn't happy with his work and refused to accept that he was done. So he said I will come the next day to redo it. Thus meaning instead of making more revenue/profit for the company for a new customer he was going to take care of me for a second time at no additional charge. He came back out as promised, redid his work in the sunshine and it looks good as new. The purpose of me relaying this long story is to represent the mindset of the company and its employees. They appreciate the customers they have and they make sure they do the job correct. This is a costly decision but they just won a repeat customer and a loyal customer who will spread their name as often as possible. I had a scratch on the rear bumper of my wife's new car. With only 1500 miles on the car, I didn't want to ignore the obvious scratch, so I got an estimate at a highly recommended body shop in my area and received an estimate of more than $1900. I decided I could live with the 1 inch scratch if that was what it would take to repair it! But then I ran across the website for Car Body Lab. I sent the picture & a week later the repair was made for $303. And they didn't touch-up the scratch, they just replaced the bumper part with a new piece. Labor for a Front Bumper cover and replace was a good price but $863.63 for labor was crazy for something simple to do. For part it was $213.02 and a parts pickup and disposal was $50. All I was asking was to lover the labor cost but they said that 1,144.49 was the lowest price they can offer. I know that $863 is crazy for a labor for a front bumper and cover. Then charge me $451.50 for Front corner bumper dent. After that they say that the bumper replacement is $663.63. The person doing my quote was Henry. This was based in Las Vegas. read more
