We absolutely LOVE Carbon Coffee! It's family-owned, and you can genuinely feel the care they put into their business and their customers every time you visit. We come here all the time, and it's one of those local places we're always happy to support. Their Wildberry Mocha is PHENOMENAL and hands down my favorite drink! If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out. One of the things that means the most to me, though, is that my 3-year-old son is autistic and extremely particular about foods and drinks. Finding things he genuinely enjoys can sometimes be difficult, but he absolutely LOVES their cheesy bagels and Wildberry Milk! The fact that Carbon Coffee has become a place where both of us have our own favorites makes it that much more special. Quality/Quantity - Simple menu done well. Today we got the following: Wildberry Matcha - My wife got this after seeing the picture on the truck. She finished this in minutes, it was that good. Caramel Macchiato - My drink was good also. I do not usually order such a sweet drink, I guess I wanted to "treat" myself. Food options also available, see pictures. Atmosphere - Mobile trailer. Order at one window and pick up at the other. Came to our parking lot for our event. Service - Did not charge extra to come to our parking lot for our event. Thanks. Overall good service. One cashier, and two employees in the back of the house. Our drinks were made promptly, I guess we have less complicated orders...? Others had to wait for a while. Price - $15, I felt reasonably priced, but others felt that it was on the higher end for coffee, but I say it was worth it. It's an absolute honor to be the first to submit a review for the coffee truck, Carbon Coffee and owners Sarah &Jeff:) Okay, if you live in the north valleys and love coffee/teas, want to support a local business and enjoy local/organic baked goods/food, and want to use sustainable/environmental products, this is the spot for you! Having a coffee truck in cold springs/ red rock is such a blessing as we don't have many options. They have some of the BEST coffee drinks and are super creative with their combinations. I'm diabetic so I have to be careful with carbs/sugar and to have an owner(Sarah) that is incredibly knowledgeable in what she has to offer and to recommend/customize the drink that works for the consumer is AMAZING! They offer homemade whipped cream & sugarfree whipped cream ( for peeps like me) , many diary and dairy free substitutes and a personal favorite of mine, baked goods/ food from mother of macros(another local business)! You have to try their Carbon latte or carbon caramel macchiato( made with charcoal), also one of their specialties! Not too gritty tasting and has tons of great health benefits, and is well balanced, like most of their drinks. They do set up both in cold springs in the morning and red rock in the afternoon, check out their website for specifics and look for the coolest, modern coffee truck. The food, the service, the drinks; Carbon Coffee does it all great! I absolutely love having them here in Cold Springs; it is so convenient in the mornings. Both the husband and wife have taken my order and I can say they are such kind people, & that makes me want to support their business even more. I always get the Carbon Latte iced (or the frappe) or the Matcha Latte iced. It's always a hard time deciding because they are both SO delicious! This coffee truck was located outside of "Red Rock Mega Storage" from 1pm - 3:30pm Monday Wednesday and Friday. (Recommend following their instagram to see what their schedule is like) Iced Liquid Churro: Espresso, premium white chocolate sauce, caramel and milk of your choice. The taste was everything I expected my order to be. I loved it! Iced Wildberry Matcha Latte: Matcha green Tea lightly sweetened with milk of your choice and wildberry puree. Girlfriend ordered this and she loved it. I tried some and usually I just get Matcha Lattes just as it is, but the added wildberry puree just works and blends beautifully with the matcha. Pup cup: Whipped cream topped with dog biscuit (Furkid devoured this) The service was great and its awesome that they gave my lil furkid a treat. (He loved it!). The orders that came after us, I kept hearing Caramel Macchiato. So next time we come back, I know what I'll be ordering next. Amazing coffee and drinks! Love the aesthetic of the truck and I love the reason behind carbon coffee. Reusable cups, biodegradable cups, homemade whipped cream, and more! Their coffee truck even has a drive-through... I've never seen a coffee truck like that! Jeff and Sara are amazing people and work so hard!! Since my regular coffee truck is not going today, I decided to give Carbon Coffee a shot. The people running it are friendly and service is quick. While ordering, a number of the food items that are listed on their menu are sold out, which was a bit frustrating. I ordered an iced mocha. What I received looked nice. The first taste was very chocolatey, I could barely taste anything else; I figured they just go big on the chocolate. Then I kept drinking, and discovered the real reason it's called carbon coffee...the reason it was so sweet initially is that they didn't mix up the drink at all and the chocolate sauce was put in on the bottom, so after all that came up in the straw, then I was left with just the straight coffee/milk, and the coffee tasted like it had been sitting on the warmer for a whole day, it was so burnt-tasting. I had to wash the taste out of my mouth when I got home. The one saving grace for the experience was the blueberry muffin I had. If you like blueberries, this is definitely the muffin for you...it was at least half blueberries, and it was delicious! read more

WHERE DO I START? This coffee truck deserves a 10 out of 10 for everything from service to quality...to all around genuinely kind people. I dream about this coffee....I'm kidding...but really I do crave this coffee almost daily. I spent all weekend hoping Monday would get here fast.... Then it came and now it is Thursday evening and I have visited this truck twice this week. Planning for another one tomorrow morning. Just can't get enough!!!! Jeff and Sarah are amazing and they always are so friendly and even with a long line they never make you feel rushed...don't know what you want??? NO PROBLEM...maybe try their famous CARBON LATTE... they can create anything based off what YOU like in your coffee...anything from a Lavender latte...to Mixed berry...churro...white chocolate...my kids love their kids chocolate milk with whipped cream....and by far my absolute favorite is a melt in your mouth...CARAMEL MACCHIATO...use top of the line ingredients where you can just taste the AMAZING level of good. I haven't had a bad drink. They also offer their house cup which is a custom mason jar with a top and super cute custom leather sleeve with the CARBON logo.... It's a game changer drinking my cold coffee out of a mason jar! This is the best coffee in Reno!!!!! I hope to see them grow and expand to more and more Reno locations.
