So glad I finally got around to trying Candy Burger! I've seen the truck around town in Carson many times. Finally, I knew they would be parked at the Bank Saloon with some live music on the patio. What better time to stop? When we arrived there was no line and we ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, the cheese curds, and fries. Holy cow! What a great burger and even better cheese curds! I honestly think the cheese curds may have been the best I've ever had. Better than Culver's! The burger was great too with juicy patties and crispy bacon. I will certainly go back to Candy Burger when I can hunt them down next. Luckily they are often out and about on the weekend evenings in Carson! Worth the search! read more

Big fan of the cafe! Love the happy hour and the wide selection of treats and snacks. I just wish they left the corner store part of their business open for longer. They frequent the White House almost as much as I do. The difference is that they bring the best burgers, wings and fries. They are happy and friendly. The truck is brightly colored and clean... though one day I should offer to lend my paint brushes to it. All of this shows in the flavor, freshness and brilliant texture of their food. Not only is the food at the food truck amazing, try the Candy Cafe. Me and my wife have been working our way around the menu because everything is amazing! The quality of the food and the portions are amazing. We love their burgers and I love the pastrami sandwich and the deluxe roast beef sandwich. I could eat here every day if I could! You can't beat the prices. Their hamburgers are top of our list for hamburgers. My wife loves their salads as well. Good food, but this truck feels more like an Easter egg hunt than a business on wheels. They have incredibly poor communication to show where they are, or where they'll be next. I spent enough on gas looking for the truck than I would have on a meal. Can't suggest food that runs away from you, and won't be suggesting them until they're in a permanent location. Sorry, unless you've got a Michelin star, this truck is not worth chasing down. read more

Where should I start with this well hidden and constantly moving gem? First of all, I have had the pleasure of having had the bacon cheese burger three times so far and aside from currently being the best burger in Northern Nevada, I have to say that this is as good as a burger can be! Definitely not fast food and made from the finest and freshest ingredients. I have ordered their onion rings and they are always perfect and crunchy on the outside. I have also tried their mushroom Swiss burger and the flavor is so good that I'm torn as to which one to order! Another great addition to their menu are the chicken wings which are off the hook delicious I had been on the hunt for a good hamburger in this town for quite awhile with very little luck. One thing that drives me insane is how thin others are able to slice their tomatoes! I mean when you look at it from the top down it looks like a slice of tomato but viewed from the side, it's laughable how much it resembles a sheet of paper it's more than worth making the effort to find where candy burger is serving their delicious works of art! Absolutely the best burger in Carson City and one of the best I've had anywhere. On top of a great selection the price is crazy good. When they are at the antique mall it's very close to my job and I eat there every time they are parked there. I've eaten at the cafe once but it was just a salad. It was very good though.
