Crazy Bean Coffee might be my new favorite coffee spot! They have SO many flavors to choose from, and the coffee is bold and actually tastes like coffee. And the prices make it easy to come back again and again. The service was great, too. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and happy to make recommendations. The inside is a little dated, but there's plenty of seating. It feels comfortable and relaxed, and it's a great place to sit and enjoy your coffee. I support local coffee shops whenever I can. This is a cool little spot. Went in for my Sunday coffee, loved my vanilla latte. The staff member was super nice and gave me some great recommendations. Have you been to this cute cozy coffee shop? The gals are so nice and explain the menu to you and are able to substitute items you might be allergy to like peanuts or peanut butter. You can go in to see these beautiful souls or go through the drive through to order. They have nice food in the case to choose from or you can have DoorDash deliver too! I love to order the protein shakes, before bowling in a tournament. I like to go there to get one for energy or keep me from being hungry while I bowl! Thank you for the great service!! Coffee was good, girl at the counter was a bit "Icy" I was very patient and bought a shirt, coffee and a pastry. No smile, very abrupt and bland. Being busy is no excuse for being rude. I was kind, patient and tipped. Maybe she was having a bad day but still no excuse for unfriendly service. Not rude, but definitely not friendly. Probably won't go back because there is a locally owned coffee shop in every area around here. I do collect locally owned coffee shop T-shirts unfortunately when I wear this, if somebody asks me, I would probably not recommend this shop. read more

I've been wanting to stop in, I love a good local coffee and a fun shop name, I finally got an opportunity before work to make it happen. I took a quick peek at the menu online and was deciding what to get, but walked in and there was a specials board and the salted caramel mocha caught my eye. There were a couple people hanging out in the shop reading, otherwise it was just me. The staff was speedy and friendly, and it looked like a cozy place to hang out. The breakfast food options all looked pretty yummy - though I didn't get a chance to try them. The coffee was good, I felt like maybe the coffee to milk ratio was a bit off for my strong coffee soul, but I'd definitely try again - especially after seeing their cold brew when I left. read more

I love coffee and had yet to try Crazy Bean, so today was the day to do so. The staff was friendly and nice. The seating is a mix match of various table and chair styles. I ordered a white mocha with an extra espresso shot and a jalepeno bagel hot mess. The sandwich was as described as it was very hot and a bit messy. The crazy sauce is good, but the ratio of bagel to egg and meat is a bit off. These are also pre-made, so they just heat them up. It was served on a thin paper plate and checked paper, which made it a bit flimsy to carry. We also had to go hunting for some napkins.the sandwich was very hot to the touch but not as much to the bite. The bagel was soft and the best part of the sandwich. I will probably opt for a different breakfast item next time and perhaps forgo the extra espresso shot as it threw the balance of the coffee off. read more

Had a really bad experience. Went through the drive through. There were no syrups or milk options listed on the menu. The woman taking our order opened the window with her hand, closed the window and grabbed our cups with her fingers inside of our cups and touched the walls and scratched her head and continued to make our drinks. I have been here twice already both times through drive through. I love that they are open later than most coffee shops, as sometimes early evening I like a caffeine pick me up. The first time I ordered an iced macadamia nut latte with oat milk. I really like how they prepared their coffee. I did notice that as I ordered a second iced drink for a family member, the ice amount from the two baristas that prepared did vary. The second trip I ordered an iced butter pecan with oat milk. I found this to be really tasty. They also have rounds not a cronut here. I ordered a mini pack which came with 4. I just find that their prices are similar to Starbucks, so this will be an occasional treat for me. I do like the variety of syrup flavors, and that they are central for me either leaving home or heading that way. Both times the baristas were very nice, and there was a small line which shows that word of mouth is growing. I'm sure the next time I go I will plan to sample another drink. read more

Overall I'd give this coffeehouse a 4/5. It's in a nice location and is really the only local coffee shop around these crossroads. The atmosphere is very casual. It's a pretty small coffee shop with a few 2-people booths out front. The staff was friendly and greeted me right away. The coffee was decent. I had the Almond Joy Frappuccino. It was a little overpowered by the coconut flavoring. They have a wide variety of flavors available and a decent food selection. They also sell bagged coffee. I have driven by Crazy Bean many times and finally came to check it out while I was on a break from next door. I didn't realize it was owned by the same people who own Reno Academy of Combat - makes perfect sense. When I came in the shop was very clean and open. Both girls working were very friendly and I can tell they enjoy their job. They explained the menu/options available very thoroughly and have quite the variety of flavors and specialty drinks available. I went with a chai tea as I had already had my coffee for the day, so I'll have to come back to give that a taste in the future. They have quite a few tables as well as a couple of couches to sit on so there is plenty of seating. Overall it's a great little spot and I look forward to trying more in the future. read more

I checked this place out after going to enterprise Rent-A-Car but overall I found it just mediocre because it took me like 10 minutes just to get tea and the menu said it was microbrewed when reality all that meant was they just put a teabag and they need generic to I could've made this at home. This place has great coffee and tea! We've been here a few times just to make sure it's consistent before I posted a review. Well this place is consistently good! No weak flavors here! The chai is spiced and the extra touch of nutmeg and cinnamon is a great complement. The mochas are on point with a nice sweetness and chocolate bite. The coffee cups come full not half way with fluff. Today we tried a brown sugar chai, delish and creamy. If you're looking for good coffee this is the place to go. I really wanted to like this new coffee shop but I was so disappointed after my first and last visit today. The barista was really friendly and polite as we ordered. We ordered a black coffee, dirty chai latte, and breakfast bowls. Our food took a long time, but we thought that was because they were making it. We were wrong. They were heating up our frozen Jimmy Dean microwave bowls. They handed us our food in the plastic bowl with the Jimmy Dean logo on the bottom of the bowl. Once I got home I tried the coffee and sure enough it tastes just like Folgers' coffee. I ended up making my own coffee because I couldn't drink it. read more

Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the Reno area. The fact it's connected to a gun store and indoor range certainly bumps it up in my book! This little shop is owned by the same people who own the gun/ammo shop and fitness combat business next door. The owner was there when I came in and she was super friendly and helpful. She was conversational and made helpful suggestions while informing me of all the things the shop offers since this was my first visit. And this attitude was reflected by her staff as well. They seemed liked they were genuinely happy to be there and they were efficient and kind. They had a pretty extensive menu and they had several monthly specials to offer too ranging from coffee to smoothies to drinks for recovery, energy and other health benefits. I chose the raspberry white chocolate late special and it was a great balance of raspberry and coffee. They also had a lot of pastries and snacks to choose from. Their coffee was super affordable and the transaction was super quick so I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings. read more
