I've been going to Roamer since they opened the Wells location. This location is perfection. I often drive out of my way to come to this location for great coffee and food. Coffee is great and the breakfast burrito is delicious. The inside is decorated perfectly and everything is super clean inside. This is also the only coffee shop in Reno with a drive through that is high quality craft coffee and food. Every time I've been the staff have been excellent. Great job on this location! read more

Went to the sparks location..its a little house sitting on Glendale and it's so cute.. they have a drive thru and alittle patio out front. It's such a random location but it catching your eye. The inside is a decent size with a handful of tables and large comfy chairs. Its bright inside and very chill. They do have pastries and food options but this time around we just got drinks.. but it did look/ sounded good so will come back for it. I got a london fog and it was one of the best ones I've had. Not too sweet or too milky.. my fiancee got a lavender latte with Oatmilk. She loved it because it wasn't too sweet but she could actually taste the lavender. Cute little coffee shop that's deceptively spacious inside. The location's on kind of a main industrial drag, but they've injected tons of brightness and personality into the space. They seem to be Dolly Parton fans (a plus in my book)--they have a drink named after her--and for some reason they have a framed drawing of my dog on the wall (also a plus). Coffee and tea options are standard but very well prepared--I was very happy with my cortado and my wife's London Fog looked great too. The food was surprisingly good. We had a solid brunch of Mediterranean quiche and brie, fig, and cheese sandwich, and both were flavorful and excellent. No notes. Also found the person working behind the counter to be very nice and cheerful. The pricing was a little high, but worth it for the quality and overall experience in my opinion. My friend introduced me to this charming little spot, and I'm so glad she did. They carry an array of cute and unique products, and she couldn't resist stopping by to pick up one of their adorable water bottles. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the most delightful atmosphere--filled with beautiful décor and cozy touches. While we were there, we ordered a coffee, a London Fog, and a quiche. The quiche completely exceeded my expectations--it was full of rich, delicious flavor. My London Fog was equally amazing; it's one of my favorite go-to drinks during the fall and winter months. Ham and jalapeño quiche was cheesy with a delicious light flaky crust with juicy ham and just enough souce. Bagels and croissants in the display case. Lots of seasonal coffee drinks and good quality tea drinks like the marshmallow matcha with good matcha flavor and just enough sweetness. Interestingly this location has a drive-through making it a convenient option for commuters. Also plenty of onsite parking if you want to eat in. Music was pretty chill as is the loungey vibe. Sometimes all you need is a decent cup of coffee. And that's what you're gonna find here. Roamer is a bit of a pleasant surprise, and I can already tell I'll be stopping back at this location again whenever I happen to be over here. On the whole, this is a pretty standard sort of cafe. Coffee aplenty, all your standard espresso options, teas, smoothies, and a selection of pastries and packaged snacks. Prices for everything are pretty much on par with every other coffee shop around here. And I found the service to be friendly and prompt. What nudges this spot into the 5-star level for me is the location and the ambiance. Firstly, this is a quaint little spot, with a lovely inside seating area, and TWO outside pations (front and rear). They also have a drive through to get orders to-go. But even more importantly, I think it's cool they decided to open over in the warehouse areas of East Glendale. This is generally a sort of desert in terms of cafes and breakfast/lunch spots, which is understandable since it's an industrial area. So it's nice to find a place to grab a bite and pick-me-up, especially from a local company and not green-giant-chain-coffee. And they're open earlier than a lot of other coffee shops, which was a blessing when it's 6:00 in the morning and I desperately need that caffeine. So yeah, all told I really like this spot. Cute little modern coffee house I found on Yelp while in the sparks area. I ordered the Aloha, hot but received it iced which was fine no biggie but I felt like the flavor wasn't as rich and noticeable as I expected. My friend ordered the "Golden Hour" and it was very flavorful. We got the kids the "sunrise" smoothie and sadly none of them liked it. I taste tested it and it was mid. We also got the cinnamon rolls that are house made and they were delicious. Crispy and perfectly sweet. The staff was polite but very minimal interaction to really say much else. Price point was average, paid I believe $53 for 6 drinks and 2 cinnamon rolls. I liked that they had both drive thru and walk in option. Overall descent and worth a shot. read more

Romer Coffee House on Welles is such a cute little spot! I stopped in and tried their matcha, and it was amazing, perfectly balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet. You can tell they put care into their drinks. I especially loved the cozy vibe of the space and the patio section in the back. It's such a great area to hang out, chat, or meet up with friends. It feels relaxed and welcoming, which makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to and next time, I'm excited to try more than just the matcha! read more

Stopped by the new location today. It's a stand alone building with plenty of parking, patio seating in both the front and back, as well as a drive-thru option. The inside has nice decor and a great vibe. The employees were friendly and provided great service. I tried the Dolly Parton (Banana and Chocolate) Latte with 1/2 pump of syrup, to reduce the sweetness. The result was pretty good! I also had a Turkey Pesto Sandwhich. At $9.50, the price is comparible to other coffee spots, but both the size of the sandwhich and presentation fell short for me. The sandwhich was good, but not great. I came here with my coworker this morning for a little pick me up. This location is so adorable and love that they have a drive thru ! It's so cozy inside with cute little knickknacks and gifts. W-O-W! Roamer Coffee House is a local coffee shop chain. I hadn't known about their first location and they happened to open the second one off Glendale. My coworker first told me about the Glendale location and I've been looking forward to my first encounter. I was not disappointed! I was so elated at seeing how beautiful this little oasis is. Right in the middle of a very industrial part of town, we've been needing a local coffee shop to open! I pulled up and let the gal working know it was my first time. She gave me a recommendation for a vanilla, cinnamon, and honey latte with oat milk. It's HEAVEN! I also got a drip coffee for my boss. The person who took my order this morning was Alex. What a friendly gal! It took just a second to assemble my order, but she made some small talk with me and was so pleasant. I love my coffee and my boss is really enjoying the drip coffee. He said it has a great flavor. The only downside? This may become a problem for me with how close it is to work. They had no line when I pulled up. One thing I love about Reno and the surrounding area is that you can find independent coffee places all over. Roamer is a new operation since I was up here a year ago. It's across the street from where my husband works so I stopped in while I waited for him. They have a drive thru but also, lovely outdoor seating as well as comfy indoor options. I just needed to waste time so brought a book and my planner. I observed quite a few customers in the hour that I was there and could tell they were repeaters. Good sign. I could imagine hanging out here with my friends. Ordered a mocha--chef's kiss---and everything bagel, which may be locally made. I sat comfortably while I read my book but secretly coveted the comfy chairs across from me, which were already inhabited by someone--looked like a regular. Summed up, what I loved: 1) the mocha, which was served in a coffee cup that I didn't have to request, thank you 2) the vibe 3) the service which was friendly and timely 4) plenty of seating 5) clean. On the way out, I saw a framed photo that shares the history of the house. I appreciated that and tried to imagine what the original owners would think of it now. I will be back! read more

I always love trying local coffee spots when traveling. Roamer's was awesome! I really enjoyed my Iced Aloha Latte. I ordered it with whole milk and half sweet. It was delicious. They have good strong and bold coffee. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich with turkey. I was a little taken back that it was sliced turkey and was maybe expecting a turkey sausage patty or maybe turkey bacon. It was good overall but would probably not get turkey again. They have a super cute patio for outdoor seating and I wish I had more time to spend to enjoy their patio. The service was also great. I hope I can visit again soon! I really enjoyed this cute location feels smack in the middle of an industrial area, but it truly stands out with the cute coffee shop seating and flowers. I noticed there's a drive through which is handy if you're somewhere on route. My family and I wanted to try a new coffee shop on our way up to Tahoe and this shop popped up and reminded me this was on my evergrowing list of places to check out. It's a little pricey but with the drive through gives you the convenience of the other lower quality coffee shops but it's not low quality so the price makes sense.
