I ride down Broadway all the time, so to find this car wash pretty much across the street from many of the places I frequent was mind-blowing. I am just way too busy not to notice a whole car wash in my backyard! Ocean reminds me of Mister Car Wash. They do have detailing services where you get out the vehicle and go inside to wait for them to wash and detail the car. My ride is paid off and almost 10 years old. She doesn't need all that. My coupon was good for the most expensive wash, which was worth $20. Redemption was easy at the kiosk, which allowed me to scan my coupon. Once done, I jumped out my vehicle to collapse my side mirrors and into a line I went. It was a Saturday afternoon, and despite being probably 10 cars deep, the line went quickly. Wash was thorough and not too loud. I've gone through some really loud express washes before, and it almost sounded like gunshots hitting your car. Not the case at Ocean. Once you pull out, there are two attendants waiting to dry your car off. They're quick and left my car spotless. Only gripe is no vacuum area, but if you're looking for a great car wash without lifting a finger to clean, Ocean is the wave to go!

To start off what I thought to be one visit turned out to be 3. I went in to get my radiator fan fixed because my car was running hot. They were able to fix the issue so I thought but maybe an hour after I left it ran hot again and I drove it back. The manager Leo told me what may be the problem and fixed it. Ok no problem but then later on that evening more lights came on and my car pretty much didn't want to turn back on. I got the car towed and came back in the morning. I was a little upset because now what. But when I spoke to Leo again they took the car quickly to see what was going on and it was a different issue in related to what was repaired needing a new alternator. I was pretty upset thinking wow I have to spend more money but it was not on the mechanic fault it was just an affect of all of the energy being pulled from the old alternator hopefully I'm explaining it correctly. The reason this is four stars because Leo was so compassionate because he knew what happened and only charged me at cost for the alternator and didn't charge for the labor for this second issue. I would definitely go back because of the character of Leo and I forgot to say to top it off he was going out of town the same day but he waited to test drive the car himself to make sure I was good and I haven't had a problem again.

I had previously priced out the service so the quote I received for brake pads and new rotors was very reasonable and well within a reasonable price range for my car. I had about 25,000 miles on my vehicle. They never said anything about the rotors. I had them rotate my truck tires and when I left, the low tire pressure light was on. I checked when I got home and they had lowered my tire pressure from 50psi down to 32. They did that on two different occasions. I had trailer tires mounted and balanced. Most of the stick on weights flew off. I won't trust them with my vehicle now. I even go elsewhere for the emissions test.

They are right opposite AutoZone for future reference. They showed me my clean air filter and were impressed that it was still clean, I was too... ha ha... Anyway, inspection was all done in about 10-15 min. And I was good to go with the report in hand to get my registration renewed. Was charged fairly. He didn't call me until 5 (after they closed), but the quote was reasonable. It did take some follow up on Monday to figure out when it would be done, but eventually got the car back and all the warning lights were off and it's been working well for a few months now. Overall I'm happy. Communication could be better, but glad we found a mechanic who could fix the issue with reasonable cost.
