Took my car in to be diagnosed under a new car warranty, because my muffler had water leaking from it, my backup camera was a little off, and my windshield wipers didn't work properly. Explained these things, filled out paperwork and showed a video for reference of where the muffler was leaking. Left my vehicle at 8a, on Tuesday, to be diagnosed and was told it would be the afternoon when it's finished. It was explained that the warranty process is to diagnose, submit the request, and wait for an approval to start the work... It took until Wednesday to get any calls or information from them. After already missing two days of work...just for a diagnosis that should've been finished the same day and holding my car up, I had to keep calling, in order to get any answers on what's wrong with the vehicle and what happens next. This was on Thursday before Good Friday. I was then informed that my brakes needed to be done (wasn't an initial work order) and they were already completed, the backup camera was fine, the windshield wipers were serviced, and the muffler issue was non existent (I was told it was normal condensation). I knew it wasn't and I insisted that they recheck it. They were told in the beginning that water was running down the muffler on two different sides and would pool on the ground, as if it were the a/c dripping. The owner (Joe) explained to me that his technician hadn't mentioned such a thing and that was not normal. I told him a video had been shown for reference in the beginning when I first explained the problem and I also had to send the video to him because of his techs (mis) communication, or lack there of. I had to insist on picking up my vehicle on this day, because it was necessary and a day before them closing for Easter weekend. I arrived at the repair shop and picked up my car between 4:00-4:30p, before closing. When I made it home, I noticed many, many things array with my vehicle. 1.) My seats, both front and back, are extremely filthy from someone going through my car and leaving mechanic grease/dirt/footprints everywhere. There was no reason to be in my backseat at all. My initial complaint for work was my windshield wipers, backup camera, and muffler. 2.) Replaced rear brakes and did not replace brake fluid. (I came home and had to drive over the Fred Hartman Bridge with NO brake fluid, after Julia's worked on my rear brakes. Had to stop at a gas station to purchase and put in my own fluid). I could have been in a horrible accident. 3.) In addition to no brake fluid being replaced, there was no wiper fluid for the windshield wiper replaced, after working on my pump. Windshield wipers still don't work properly. 4.) Someone went in my console, because an item that was inside of there had come from my floor and wasn't supposed to be in there. 5.) Both my side and rear view mirrors were adjusted, as if someone went for a drive. 6.) I have a windshield phone mount and it was adjusted in order to accommodate someone else besides myself to use it. 7.) A/C is now making a lot of noise as of 3:12p on Good Friday. I'm supposed to return again, in order to finally get my leaky muffler issue diagnosed sufficiently, since it was missed the first time AND my windshield wipers still aren't working properly. I only have two settings. Medium and faster. I will not be returning to Julia's for this. This review will also serve as an official complaint. My car wasn't even three weeks old yet, when I took it in and they used no covers or protection while working on or getting in and out of the car. I had to take it the next day to be detailed, because I couldn't allow my family to ride in it the way it was left. It's disrespectful, disregarding, and unprofessional. I've never seen a mechanic or dealership, that doesn't use temporary or paper protection to prevent dirt/oil transfer and filthy footprints. Not an ideal way to go into Easter weekend.

Have to say be it New to Houston and I am very particular with my Fiance. Be it my car is a Fiat and not just and shop can work on it. Well Julia's did and I'm humbled and grateful to have chosen. Everyone especially Mrs Elizabeth has been going above and beyond to make sure I'm ok. And my needs are being meet to the highest level.

I was able to get the tire inflated thanks to the valet crew so I could get home but desperate to get the tire fixed before I had to shuttle my client around all day and evening. I found Montrose Mobile Tire here and was so impressed by the number of 5-star reviews. Made an easy online appointment for early the next morning and Oscar showed up on time and had my tire permanently patched in 15 minutes. He was so professional and helpful and I was on my way on time to pick up my client. There was a second part to the story, however. The tire started going flat within a couple of days. Normally this would lead to a negative review but I reached out to Oscar and explained the situation. I was able to get an immediate appointment and he discovered that he had had 1-2 other incidents where the patch had still resulted in a leak on this particular tire and it also could have been a faulty patch. Either way, he triple checked my tire for any other causes for the leak and installed a new patch and tested it, leveled the air pressure in all my other tires and said to call him if there are any other issues with it. While it took two trips, I appreciated the quick response, the dedication to making things right and his willingness to address any issue if one occurred again with the tire.

When I arrived, the store was already quite busy. I'm not sure how many appointments they schedule per 15-minute window, but there were a lot of customers ahead of me, so the initial wait was longer than expected. That said, several staff members acknowledged the delay, apologized, and assured me I'd be checked in as soon as possible--which I appreciated. After checking in, I decided to drop off my car and run an errand rather than wait, especially since the check-in took longer than anticipated. Interestingly, the actual tire service was completed faster than my wait time, which was a nice surprise. They handled everything as requested: the damaged tire in my trunk was disposed of, and the good tire that was replaced was bagged and placed in my trunk along with my spare. When I returned, the team member who walked me to my car was friendly and mentioned that this is the busiest location in Houston--and that what I experienced was actually considered a slower period--which I found impressive given how busy it already seemed. Overall, they manage the workload well. My only suggestion would be to prioritize scheduled appointments over walk-ins when possible. Otherwise, a solid experience.
