They are so professional, friendly, efficient, and cost saving! Back in June I brought my vehicle to Galaxy for tires and for an all-around tune up. The tires are the best I've had on this car, as Galaxy shops distributors far and wide to not only get great prices but also offers a variety and choices I've never seen at any tire store I've ever been to. Their level of friendly professionalism cannot be beat, as it is next level for sure! They also don't waste their time or yours; they get the work done as efficiently as possible, and they're quite thorough in their inspections for potential problems. In my case, I was about to take my car on a very long trip through multiple states (towards CA) and driving through the record-breaking sumner temps over the summer in West TX, NM, and AZ; they took that very seriously as they inspected my car with my trip in mind, looking for potential heat-related hazards or potential issues on my older car. The trip was great and I experienced no problems in my vehicle that has 180,000 miles on it throughout a brutal drive/trip that lasted six weeks in total--thanks to the preemptive eyes of the mechanics at Galaxy! The lobby is quite comfortable and they offer bottled water and Keurig coffee. They have WiFi so you can work while you wait, and they're great about keeping you posted of the job and timeline as they work on your car! Love this place!

I was referred to the owner, Sunny, by a long-time customer, which is the only reason I considered this shop at all. I asked Sunny to diagnose my extra vehicle, a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and paid $250 for the vehicle to be towed to his shop. After two weeks of waiting, he informed me that the vehicle needed a new motor due to issues with the heads, but he claimed there were no other problems. It's worth noting that the truck had been sitting unused for over a year before I brought it in. Sunny then requested $1,500 for the repairs, which I paid up front , and he assured me the truck would be ready in a week and I would pay the remainder when he completed the job. However, three to six months passed without any updates, and my attempts to contact him went unanswered. It took the person who referred me to visit the shop and inquire about my truck's status. He was told that if they couldn't fix it, they shoul refund my money. While she was on the phone with me and talking to Sunny, the owner gave a sob story about losing his mechanics and his father passing away, asking for more time to get the motor installed and the truck running by the 15th. Yet, here we are, four more months later. I asked my brother, who lives nearby, to check on the truck at his shop, and he found my truck untouched, now with bumper damage, water damage, and mold inside. He confronted Sunny, who again promised that the truck would be operational by April 15th. I contacted my brother, who resides on that side of town, since it's a one-and-a-half-hour drive for me to visit the shop. He went to the property and took pictures of my truck, which had been untouched. Unfortunately, it now has bumper damage, water damage, and mold inside. He spoke with Sunny, who assured him that he would have it operational by April 15th, claiming responsibility for it sitting for over a year, which caused water damage from the rain. He promised to handle the bodywork, brakes, and cleanup. However, on May 19th, my brother visited the shop one last time to check on the Jeep's progress. Sunny stated that the AC was functioning and the vehicle was running well, but he still needed to clean it and fix the bumper, as his body man was unavailable. My brother then took the Jeep home, only to find the check engine light on, malfunctioning signals, a broken gas meter, and now it won't even start. This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with any business, especially considering the high recommendations. It's been a series of blatant lies, and I'm still out of money with no resolution, forcing me to consider legal action. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I urge others to avoid dealing with Sunny at this shop.

He takes the time to explain what's going on, doesn't make you feel rushed or talked down to, and you can tell he really cares about the work he does. The communication could be better. It's hard to get someone on the phone and when I left voicemails they weren't returned. It's much easier if you just go to the shop but most people work so driving there whenever you have a question is unrealistic. I opted to not have my sons car repaired simply because the mechanic made it clear that it just needs to be replaced and I appreciate his honesty. I did however get the car back with a completely dead battery. 2. The battery was fine prior bringing it in. The car typically sits in my yard while my son is in school. It was being driven maybe twice a month so the battery had very little wear and wasn't that old. I think something was left on which drained the battery while it sat at the shop. A little disappointed by that but what can you do.
