New to the area came to grab some groceries, within 2 days I had to throw away an entire 10lb bag of potatoes they had rotted I couldn't handle the smell or the liquid funk oozing out the bag to take it back. I am now hoping and praying that the meat I bought is actually good. Before we shopped we bought a couple burritos and Aguas I thought it was a combo meal went to pay and was told not part of it, a couple bean burritos and large aguas cost almost 30 bucks I was blown... Having seen many TikToks of people devouring chicharrones dipped in guacamole, my kiddos and I went specifically to this market looking to satisfy our tastebuds today! I had a strong hunch that this store would have what we were seeking!For those wanting an explanation of what we indulged in today, chicharrones are fried pork skins with the meat still intact. Fried pork belly is another way to describe this. It's mouth-drooling delicious! The piece de resistance of this culinary experience is the dip-tation (yes, I'm making up words here) in the scrumptious guacamole! Trust me when I tell you that It was soooooo good! 10/10, would recommend!!! I can't speak for the grocery store itself in terms of products they carry, etc. as we only had 2 items we were set out to find. If you've never been to this store it's like being in Mexico the second you walk in. You feel like you stepped into another country. Food is phenomenal all of the food the fresh food the cooked food the products for sale. It's pretty wonderful. Try going on Sunday or on the weekend to grab fresh baked sweet breads! I went to Ranch Market on Central and Southern.That is the store closest to where I live. I really am pleased with the customer service I received when me and my mother went the other day. One of the customer service ladies was so nice to my mom and offered to help her download the rewards app and she even took the time to explain how the app worked and the perks of having the app. She was very nice and patient. We saw this market while checking out the Costco Business Center. Having time, we decided to stop in before shopping at Costco. Much like a marketplace, there are several businesses inside the building. One is a restaurant. An ample amount of seating is available. We were there at an odd time, so we didn't stop to eat. Adding to the market place fell are the departments. The one that struck us when we first walked in was the bakery. Not only did the area smell heavenly, the products looked amazing. Baked goods are competitively priced. There is also a tortilleria and a spot to get horchata. Produce is top notch, and fairly reasonably priced. What we purchased stayed fresh. Fruits were packed with flavor. Cashier was friendly. She gave us additional information about some products. read more

I needed a few things and was right next to ranch market. This is a convenient location as it's in the same plaza as Business Costco. It's huge and they have rows of fresh pan dulce, fresh juices and hot foods at their deli. They have meats, different types of tamales, multiple hot items and tables to eat at. I just shopped produce this trip but everything was fresh, a great price and I found what I needed. The lines were a bit long but no issues. Would stop in again if I'm in the area. read more

My daughter was eating a concha we just purchased this morning. And she pulled a hair out of her mouth. The concha had a hair inside. It definitely couldn't have been our hair. I was there to buy some tomatoes to make some bacon sandwiches. The customer that was ahead of me was paying with several gift cards. This took forever. All of a sudden, the check out Aisle next to where I was opened. The Los Altos Employee made no effort to announce this. So, I said, "Sir, you could have said you were opening." He looked at me and smirked. So, I went to complain at the Customer Service Department. The lady that was the Cashier I was originally in line waiting to check out, was leaving that Department. I told her what happened. With no look of concern, she said she'll talk to him.....If She was also a Customer Service Rep, SHE should have originally made some effort to correct that mistake. It now makes perfect sense, why this location has an armed Security Guard. read more

GOOD: Good place to get chicken,,,they have plenty and its cheap. Good place to get ready made Mexican food, although they use the cheapest grade meat around. Good deserts. Good selection of fruits and veggies. BAD: HOWEVER for anything else like standard shopping stay away! The selection is very poor, and the prices are too high, or should i say insane. Terrible experience for a company going away party! Unfortunately we had an employee that has decided to leave our company relocate to another state. We ordered a Fiesta pack for 25 people. The pack was $189 and when we received it was missing Rice, Beans, Chips, Salsa, and some meat. Management onsite refused to adjust pricing and disputed that it was received. The food is very good and authentic here. They make fresh tortillas daily and they are excellent in taste and quality everybody that has tried them likes them. My sister in Massachusetts has a ship them to her and she can't get anything even close to that quality up there. Lately, I have grown tired of the Walmart grocery selection and it occurred to me one night driving past Dirty's, I had been overlooking this very well-stocked grocery store including a fabulous array of many freshly prepared Mexican delicacies, right near my home. But... Oh my God! The prices! Don't these shoppers know they're getting completely ripped off? Can of frozen juice concentrate: here at Los Altos Food Mart? $3.29; Fry's/Walmart, both under $1.50. well stocked grocery store. I'm the first one who appreciates conveniences, even at a premium (the bedrock of success for all convenient stores), but other the guacamole (which, to tell the truth I can do better on my own, at homeand for cheaper) I got no use for this store. I have been here many times over the years. We come for their specials and sometimes eat while we are there. The food is always good. I love the selection of products and their produce. If it is a hard to find item they will probably have it. Their bakery has a great selection also and always have some beautiful decorated cakes. I sometimes refer this place as a destination. It is a place to take people from out of town to see. They are always amazed at the verity of foods and products. They always have specials and these are usually good buys. They can be a little high of other items. People are always friendly and helpful. If you have not been there...Go! Look around. read more

This is really far from home. But it's next door to the Costco Business Center. We visit the Costco a few times a year, and nearly always stop here too. This market is geared towards Latin American people. Produce, meats, and packaged goods all typical of Latino cuisine and preferences. Plus they have a tortilla factory right there if you want really fresh tortillas, and a juice bar that features guyabano and a few other unique juices, and you can also get some Latino cheeses. The produce is pretty good, the cheese selection is interesting, the tortillas are pretty good, and some of the other products are nice. They also have a cafeteria here that has some really good "Mexican" food (I say "Mexican" because some of it may not actually be Mexican). The food is very tasty, and not very expensive. I love this market! They have wonderful deals on their produce all the time. They sell marinated pork, chicken and beef for tacos or burros. There is a juice bar and a little restaurant inside the store. There is pretty much everything you could hope for when making Mexican meals. The only thing that keeps me from frequenting more often is the lines can get very long and they lack diversity in other ethnic food options. read more

This is the best place for authentic Mexican food! I love coming in here for a quick lunch and instant fabulous food! I also recommend the tortillas and pastries! Yummy and you can pick up whatever else you might need from the grocery store! They also have a jeweler on site and you can get something fixed while you shop! Was in Phx and stopped in for lunch. Ordered the 5 taco plate. Had 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor and 1 carnitas. All were surprisingly good for a cafeteria type food line. I shop here now and then then because it's close to where I live. It's a Latin market so you can find things you can't find at other main stream markets. There's a Cantina inside where you can get all of your Mexican favorites. I go there on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday $1.00 tacos all day. The kitchen offers really good paquettas (meal packs) at great prices depending on the amount of people you are buying for. Authentic and much better than you'd get at an over priced Mexican restaurant. All prepared fresh..nothing frozen. They also offer free samples of the food you are interested in.
