Trader Joe's is my weekly shopping stop for fresh veggies, tofu, nuts, tiny avocados and, of course, flowers. Such fun to travel to a neighboring state to find my grocery shopping sweet spot. It's a brand I know and love set up almost identical to my local store. No guess work here. Just a cozy replica of home selling Trader Joe's reusable bags advertising Arizona instead of California. Love this new Trader Joe's location. It is so much easier to get to and shop. The store is large and stocked full of all your favorites and more. I love the unique food options that you can only get here. The staff is extremely helpful (even checking when stuff will be back in stock) and friendly. The store gives off a sophisticated but country vibe which is so fun. I absolutely love their chocolate espresso beans, fun snacks and cookie butter. I will be back. read more

They had pink guava spread/jam on sale for $2.99. Was intrigued! Was this Taiwanese pink guava, I wondered? Looked at the back label: "MADE IN CANADA". Guavas grow in Canada? Who knew?! Today was a great trip to Trader Joe's! It was busy but we easily found our Granola aisle and walnuts and sunflower seeds. All cashier lines were open and two ready for us, with no waiting as well. We were in and out within 10 mins. The food at Trader Joe's is always great quality. We love how the stores are set up. Very reminiscent of old grocery stores inside from when we were kids. This Trader Joe's is brand new and I'm so excited! It's located in a shopping plaza with lots and lots of parking AND the shopping aisles are HUGE!!! You can actually fit with your cart and have space to breathe and go around other shoppers! I went in Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy. The door greeter said they had just moved to this new location a week ago and you could tell they were still adding the finishing touches. So to start off this store has little to nothing on the shelf's and the stocking/floor associates are atrocious and completely cold and rude when did excuse me become a thing of the past?? Not a large selection of much it's more like a corner store than a actual Trader Joe's full store However I will say this the ONLY reason for a 5 star is because front end/cashier LYNDSEY (From Colorado) was beyond words kind, and had a very up lifting and welcoming demeanor and stance, talked and made our horrible day and shopping experience a pleasant one. Was nice to see the younger generation actually going above and beyond for customer service. read more

The only thing wrong with these classic @traderjoes four-packs of almond croissants and chocolate croissants, found in the freezer section ($5.49), is that you have to plan ahead by 9 hours. In all other aspects, these are perfectly delicious and so easy to prep and bake. Sometimes I need a croissant STAT. For all other times, keep some of these in your freezer. Trader Joe's had some beautiful tulips out this week. I also picked up some organic Sencha green tea. This will keep us breakfasting very happily for a while. read more

This location is great. It helped that we came 30 minutes before closing and our hotel is right next to it. Well I just wanted to say thank you to the checkout guy , Seth is the name we have according to our receipt. Well Seth was super cool with our son. My 2 year old is super shy so when Seth offered our son a fun little task to do it was great seeing our son actually do it without an issue. Seth also offered him a lollipop. Store is super clean and organized and the employees are really cool. Definitely coming here next time we are in the area. read more

I've always been a fan of TJ's, and this one lives up to my expectations. I will say, the only downsize of this and most TJ's is their parking lots are never big enough, haha. This location is well stocked of items and friendly employees. I love Trader joes products and their fun seasonal ones too. I don't think I've been in here when it wasn't busy, except later at night. However, they keep the lines moving, so it's never too bad of a wait. Great location! read more

It's Trader Joe's. Fun vibe. Friendly staff. High quality products. Lots of fresh and frozen pre made meals. Grab and go meals perfect for a quick lunch. I like that disposable forks are available for the fresh meals, but not attached to each one. This way, if I already have a fork I am not wasting one, and one is available if I don't. Frozen section has all kinds of meals. Trade Joe's has always had a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Trade Joe's is the place to get speciality cheese. Especially great selection for making a cheese board. Interesting options at great prices. If pairing that cheese with wine check out what Trader Joe's has to offer. Drinkable wines at affordable prices. Their selection of fresh cut and potted plants/flowers is usually fresh and beautiful. On this last trip I picked up a succulent. Maybe next time I will go for the lavender. This location is on the smaller side, even for a Trader Joe's. For us, shopping here is more to accentuate the week's shopping. read more

Huge kudos to this Trader Joe's near Arrowhead Mall in Arizona. The mini totes that they released a couple of days ago - I have seen on social media the huge lines and people grabbing the bags in other cities. This store was so organized and even though there was a long line out the door right at the time they said the bags would drop the line moved quickly and I had my bags in less than 10 minutes. The employees were very friendly quick and efficient passing the bags out and the check out line was also very quick. Well done Glendale! read more

This Trader Joe's got so many things right during COVID. Allowing only so many customers in at a time. Sanitizing carts, offering hand sanitizer and face masks enforced! Love it! Yes, I had to stand in line but, it went fast! Get in and get out. So much selection and friendly service! Store is clean and well stocked. My only complaint? No cookie butter! I'm from Hawaii and everyone that works at Trader Joe's knows when people from Hawaii shop. Hint? The wagon is full of stuff for Omiyage! I must say I picked up some usual suspects. Everything but the bagel, everything but Elote, Chile Lime seasoning, rubs, Aioli mustard and so much more! Cookies and beauty products were also on the list. Gotta say you gotta go! read more

I LOVE Trader Joe's. I shopped here with my parents as a kid and now bring my kids. I know that you can find a lot of the foods at a different chain grocery store but everything I can buy here I do! The family loves the Mac n cheese and I like getting my Ezekiel bread here as it's not frozen and it's way cheaper than the other big grocery chains. The employees are always really friendly and the prices are great. The store is clean and they are cleaning carts and providing hand sanitizer before entering. I will continue shopping here as I always have and continue to find new goodies to try out! read more

Trader Joe's. Need I say more? This is one of the smaller-sized TJ's I've been to in awhile, but even with minimal space, they're still packed with delicious goodies! I can't define all the things that I love about Trader Joe's. I mean... I can, but none of us have time for that. Simply put: Trader Joe's is the best. From the fresh produce... to the endless varieties of cheeses... the frozen food aisle that NO ONE can pass up... basically, everything in the store is top-notch. I can always find something to either bring to a party, make for dinner, or snack on while watching a movie. The choices are endless. Yes, I wish this location was larger and packed with more goodness, but realistically... I'm just thankful it's somewhat nearby. And as usual, the staff are always amazing! read more

The person that checked me out was amazingly friendly and efficient. As was the guy who came and helped bag. The man that I had asked a question of was a crab ass. As usual. Big ample guy with a blue shirt and I went to ask him a question and didn't see a lady on the other side of him because he's large. All I did was smile and say oh, there's one on each side. I was then silent. And then just stood waiting. He thought he had to kind of scold me because he thought I was interrupting. Made a point of putting his finger up and saying just a minute. Answered the lady's question about where was a lemon or something and then proceeded to offer even more info to her like how his wife uses that in a recipe and more it seemed as a way of making sure I waited. Which I silently was. Then turned to me with a completely smile-free face. I told him that all I said was oh there's one on each side. I wasn't trying to interrupt the other lady's question. He showed me what I wanted to find and maintained his crab ass demeanor the whole time. This is not the first time that I've encountered this "friendly" guy. Everyone else is either friendly or neutral. when I saw the lady on the other side of him, I just said oh, and smiled at her, and she smiled at me. My momma taught me manners. Five star Christmas experience like a special present just for me. I know I sound a little dramatic but this year with all the delivery and lack of Inventory Pandemic problems, visiting so many Trader Joe's in my home State of Washington not finding what I see other people purchasing on Instagram, then finding this gem of a Christmas laden, inventory filled treasure trove. Today was my first time at the new location by Boot Barn and Once Upon a Child and it was awful. I've been coming to this location prior to the relocation for atleast 18 years now, and will now consider driving further to avoid this place. The new layout is so overwhelming and although a much bigger space, people are more in the way. I don't know if it's because this new location recently opened, but its almost seemed like people were using it as some special, new, landmark, not an everyday grocery store that I've utilized Trader Joe's as. Anyways, what prompted this review was my beyond awful interaction with Katie (As per the receipt). I just mentioned to her, in a sad way and in no way confrontational, that I miss the old location. She gave me the nastiest most uncomfortable look, looked away, and said "That's fine". That was the end of the interaction and I had close to $200 in groceries so it lasted about 5 minutes. Awkward silence. It's like I offended her, personally. Seeing her reaction, I made it a point to literally say, word for word "I still love Trader Joe's and will continue to shop here". Again, silence. After I paid, she gave me the receipt and said "Here you go" and looked away. No have a good night or anything. I've never, and I mean never, had any unpleasant interactions with anyone at Trader Joe's, until this lady came along. A guy came to help her bag, and I'm sure I looked beyond uncomfortable with my head down, and he didn't say a word to me. I don't know if it's stress due to this being a new location, but the staff were really unpleasant all around. Literally zero hellos from any staff members and one staff member was watching me like a hawk as I was looking at mandarines. Ugh, awful, awful time! This location isn't as sexy or large as our Surprise location, but it is just as special. They have a cute pumpkin display outdoors that they don't offer in our area. The products and employees make Trader Joe's extra special. Tonight I met someone who bought our Wii and we did some shopping while in the area. Trying their Argan oil, picked op some marula oil that I was running low on. Oh some sunflower seeds for my husband for work. I was hoping this location had their chicken and beef tamales but no go. Was thrilled to come to Arizona as I knew they would have a Trader Joe's nearby. So after my Barre class I headed over to this location in Arrowhead. The shopping centers has very poor lighting after hitting the curb with my rental car I head for the door. Than out of the corner of my eye I see the massive line waiting to get into the building on the other side of the building. I am used to lines from the one I go to at home. So I get on the line and it moves up rather quickly. All with markings on the ground so we can social distance. They have tons of flowers, plants , holiday wreaths and small Christmas trees to greet you so you can shop while you wait. Truthfully it didn't look to appealing in the pitch black so I passed. They had orchid plants priced about double of South Florida so I passed. Than I follow the floor arrows and start looking around. The layout is very different than my store but some what similar you go from bread to produce. I head to the cheeses and pick up a couple of Unexpectedly Cheddar as well as a mushroom Brie. Than on to the wine but than I see a long line wrapping through the wine for the registers. What was I thinking coming here two days before Thanksgiving. So I get the requested four bottles of red one of each varietal including a Nouveau Beaulois. You always know it's Thanksgiving when you see this. Than on to crackers but I can't find the one with sea salt that is in my Trader Joe's so I pass. Than Dark Chocolate no Valrhona like my store so I get two Trader Joe Brands one from Belgium the other from Switzerland. I also get a can of snack mix, chocolate covered pretzels and gummy's in a bag for my flight home. Once I was ready to check out miraculously no line. The cashier was very nice however put everything in one bag. Luckily I am strong gave the guy the cart at the entrance and headed to the car. read more

The location tends to get busy as it's in the closest one for who knows how many miles . There's is plenty of parking and plenty of shopping carts and hand baskets. The Employees are nice and welcoming .They do practice social distancing here . Always Friendly Staff I don't visit Trader Joe's as often as I like however, I do go once in a while when I want something new. The store was well stocked and clean. The fresh fruits and vegetables always look great. One of my favorites is the fresh section of Ready-to-Eat goods such as wraps, salads, and potato salad. Sometimes I love TJ when everything goes well during my shopping experience and other times I dread going in here. This location always seems to be busy no matter when I stop by. I wish they offered self-check out, I prefer to get what I need and get out quickly with minimal contact with other people. I was foolish to stop in on a Sunday morning, when it was swarming with mobs of shoppers. When the parking lot is full, then that pretty much means it's busy inside too. Long lines, lots of people everywhere, it's just too much for my anxiety to handle sometimes. Many products are unique, but often you need to check to see what products might be on the recalled list. I love their produce, it's tasty and priced well. Great prices on eggs too. Great prices on their bottled water and various beverages. Sometimes, a few employees are friendly and then there are some that seem like they don't want to be there. It's never really consistent at this location. There is a tall guy that works there all of the time, I don't know his name, but he's friendly and helpful, I usually go to his register at check out. I didn't today and went to some other cashier's line. I like to bag my own groceries and most cashier's will even thank you for doing that instead of standing there just watching them. Some random back up employee appeared after they rang the bell and she wouldn't let me finish bagging my items, plus I received a BONUS lecture from her when I picked up my bagged water by the paper bag handles too. I get treated WAY BETTER at Wal-Mart and no one bothers me there. SMH. I might start looking into using grocery pick up at Sprouts or Wal-Mart just to avoid having to deal with people. Trader Joes is always amazing. I don't go as often as I'd like because its not close to me. Today I was dreading the experience just because of everything that's been going on with the Corona virus. I only went because my mom asked me to. When I got there it was about 3 in the afternoon and there was a line about 10 people deep outside waitingto go in, there was a limit on how many people could go into the store. I was shocked! I was literally in and out within 20-25 minutes. I was impressed! They had everything stocked and people stocking as we shopped, markers for everyone to stand at, they wiped down the carts each time a customer came out and also offered you a squirt of hand sanitizer. It was great! And I made sure to let them know they were doing a great job and thanked them. I will definitely be making more of an effort to come back more. Thank you Trader Joes staff. read more

This review has nothing to do with the product. This store has a theft problem. I went shopping there on 1/11/25 at around 4:10pm. I had my phone in my purse, and I took it out at 4:30pm to check messages and placed it back in my purse. At 4:40pm I noticed my phone wasn't there, and searched everywhere. The employees said that no one has brought the phone to them. My husband went on google maps, and found it was turn off. Another lady at the same time said her phone was missing, and when I talked to a cashier, she said that it's been an issue in the area. My sister even told me that an employee told her to be careful with her bag, because they have had issue with customers stuff getting stolen in the store. They told me that they don't have access to their cameras footage. This store has known they've had a theft issue even when they were at the old location, and they haven't done anything to change it. If you still decide to got to the location, keep your affects close to you, otherwise I would avoid going to this location all together and find a safer Trader Joes to go to until this location bumps up their security; otherwise your stuff might get stolen at this Thieving Joe's. read more
