On January 5, 2026, I arrived early at Cardiac Solutions' Peoria location for my first heart PET scan, scheduled for 7:00 a.m. I felt a lot of apprehension about the procedure, especially since I had recently injured my upper right arm and shoulder. It was painful to raise my arm above my shoulder for the scan. However, I quickly found that I had no reason to worry. The technicians assigned to my procedure, Roberta and Fernanda, were so professional, efficient, and compassionate. They made sure I was comfortable and guided me through what could have been a very challenging experience. I like my doctor and staff is great. Problem is they constantly change your appointment! Once again they have cancelled my appointment for today. Yesterday, they changed time from 12:00 to 2:30. OK no big deal, I had taken the day off work. At 9:00 am this morning i get a text that my appt. has been cancelled and rescheduled for next week! Now i need to take another unscheduled day off. Won't surprise if they cancel again. I need to get cleared from Dr. Klopff to qualify for a DOT physical needed for my CDL. Then, It will take them at least a week to fill out the forms for me to bring to Concentra for my physical. My DOT medical has an expiration date and Im running outta time. read more

I was rescheduled for my heart appt 4 times over the course of 3 months! The last time it was the day before my scheduled appt. I have tried to be accommodating and willing to travel to another location and my appt was cancelled again. This is absolutely not acceptable for a specialized field like cardiology! The practice seems like a professional and well run office. However, my doctor has no bedside manner and does not listen to you. Seems to think he knows everything about your condition and looks for ways to convince you that you don't know your body. Therefore, you go through a lot of testing and expensive procedures that don't help but rather hinder your health. It's a money maker. I had been a patient of Cardiac Solutions for approximately 3 years. Initially I had no issues. It wasn't until it was discovered that I had a cardiac problem that issues began to occur. As I said, initially no problems. The standard routine when you arrive for your appointment is that you have a your B/P taken and are administered a EKG. After my last appointment I failed a nuclear stress test and was in pre-op for a angiogram. While discussing why the stress test had given poor results one of the attending nurses stated "it could be that you're in a-fib". This came as a shock!!! Shortly there after upon questioning my cardiologist he admitted, in no certain words, that had had never checked the results of all my prior EKG's!!! This is after almost 2 1/2 of regular appointments and never once was I told that I was in a-fib!! The angiogram revealed that I was in need of a triple bypass. My surgery when well, the surgeon and his staff were excellent. The staff at the hospital were great. Once at home typical post op problems began to occur. I had shortness of breath. A common issue. However my cardiologist questioned why I had been released from the hospital (2 weeks after the fact). He ordered a series of tests, including a echocardiogram. A week later he informed me and my wife that my heart was functioning a 50% of what it had been prior to surgery!!! But, he said that it appeared that I had Chronic Kidney disease and before he could do anything for my heart that I needed to get my kidney issue resolved!!!! Since that time I have had several meetings with my primary care doctor, who referred me to a new cardiologist. Both have been helpful in providing positive information regarding my heart function and any issues with my kidney's. Both are in agreement that any issue with ones heart far out weigh problems with your kidney and I'm very happy with the care and results. read more

Today I saw Dr.Mark Burns for ablation consultation. Check in time took less than a few minutes, then the nurse called me for vitals which also took a few minutes. Afterwards they take you back to the waiting room, where I waited less than 5 minutes to be called back into a room. Dr.Burns walked in pretty much within a few minutes and we had a great consultation, he explained everything very well, his bedside manners are excellent! I feel like I'm in good hands with him! Dr. Haas is pretty incompetent. He couldn't even read my heart monitor results correctly. He thought because I pushed the alert and put resting (as in I was sitting down) that I was sleeping. Someone needs to re-train this doctor on reading results. He told me that my extreme Bradycardia was liveable and that I didn't have any issues. I didn't realize blackouts were liveable. Tell my children that when I blackout behind the wheel of a car and die. What a disrespectful POS. I had a competent EP doctor give me a pacemaker and I no longer have blackouts, weakness in my arms/legs/feet, and I don't feel like I'm going to die from walking up a flight of stairs. Turns out I had more issues than extreme Bradycardia, I received a cardiac MRI from a different qualified doctor. If you need a good doctor go see Dr. John Beshai @ the heart rhythm institute on Bell road. He's an electrophysiologist. He has all 5 star reviews because he actually cares, unlike Dr. Paul Haas. read more

If you need to speak to the doctor or his assistant you "aren't allowed" without making an appointment and then you can speak to him. I've been with my doctor before he came to Cardiac Solutions. I had a question for him about a CAT scan he schedules every year. The office had no record of the script for the test. I left a message for the assistant two days ago, no response. I went ahead and went to my appointment for another test and asked again about the CAT scan. I was again told there was not script. I explained I had left a message and asked if I could leave a message for the Doctor or his assistant. I was told no one speaks to either of them I could wait till my next appointment. What? Seriously, I'm not allowed to speak with my doctor or the assistant? Too much for me. I'm not high maintenance. I've not called one time since my last appointment. I'm done. read more

When my husband had a triple bypass, Dr Quinn said he needed cardiac rehab. Then he ended up having small stroke and we had to have bil carotid surgeries as well. When I asked Dr Quinn to place order for rehab he said he wanted to see my husband first. And that's when our problems started. I called for an appt and was on hold. Was given option to keep waiting or leave my number for a call back when my turn...chose to wait. Message came on again, still opted to wait. Third time there was no option and I was forced to leave message. I asked them to call me back at my desk phone at work, email me an appt, text me just please don't call and leave message on cell. Apparently they called my cell. So I tried to set up the portal and schedule online to no avail just got a message that they could help me out at my next office visit. Called again and forced to leave another voicemail again asking to contact me ANY way besides calling my cell. And guess what? They called the cell AGAIN. Now I'm in medicine as well and I can text patients, email them, call them at alternate numbers, portal messages, etc. why is it that a big place like this can't do any of those things? And I have never worked with a Dr who would allow someone like my husband to fall through the cracks. At the follow up I waited almost an hour then welhen I went back Dr.Sharma came in for literally 30 seconds said we didn't find anything my arteries are all good not even any plaque build-up. Sethi decided to take advantage of me and said I needed 4 tests before he would give me clearance, That would delay the procedure 1 month. Another Cardi did an exam, EKG and gave me the clearance. Dr. Patrick Quinn and surgical team went above beyond the norm. Every person in my care was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, accomodating, and had a smile on their face. You sensed a high vibe of energy from everyone. From the time I entered the building until I left, I was blown away by the care and attention I received. Due to serious back issues I'm unable to lay on my back. In an office visit I explained my concerns with Dr. Quinn, he told me he would do a local where I would be in a somewhat sitting position so they could still do the procedure. At age 83 I've had several operations in my lifetime. The service I received is far better than the 5 stars given. Thank you Dr. Patrick Quinn and kudos to the 15 people who took care of me during my procedure. Customer service doesn't get any better than what I received. While admitted to Boswell Hospital, Dr. Patrick Quinn gave me an angiogram for what turned out to have been a panic attack without doing any other cardiac test other than the EKG done in the emergency room. I had a stroke during the angiogram and while still in the procedure room, Dr. Quinn was aware that I couldn't move the left side of my body. These things happen and I didn't think much of it until my new cardiologist requested his report and documents The end of his report for my angiogram noted I was ready for release the same day. It's funny because I was immobile and unconscious for more than one day , he did not call the stroke code. He let me go back to my room where my nurse saw that I was in trouble and called the code. When I saw him at later appointments for an EKG he would not answer my questions but instead would say you need to make an appointment for a consultation. Instead I found a new cardiologist. To say that I could go home and be released was a fire cry from reality. read more

Nobody sets appointments takes urgent calls or returns messages Sadly my whole family was seeing Dr Christopher Mackey we love him dearly But this practice has let us down . My husbands health was ignored by the staff He now has tests that Mayo Clinic took Over and some results weren't good He drove down to the facility yesterday to Look for Dr Mackey and staff said they would call my husband and still haven't sadly do not put your care in this Practice hands !!! A family member has a family hx of heart disease, this is documented in all the records. Dr hesitated to order a stress test or become more aggressive in testing. Finally made an appointment at Mayo Clinic. Turns out there is a serious heart issue! Today I had a visit at Cardiac Solutions & when I told them about this I was told it is recommended to seek care elsewhere if we feel the care is not to our liking & that we need to be our own advocate, thought that is what we were doing by seeing one of their cardiologists. I was speechless! Others have posted they feel like going to this practice is likened to being herded like sheep, they are not wrong! We were granted an appointment with very short notice, and taken care of in a very timely, efficient and friendly manner upon arrival for our appointment. Dr. Raman had a very warm and comforting yet professional, direct nature while conducting his assessment and translating his advice back to my Grandmother (the patient). He used a bit of light humor to put her at ease, and clarified the importance of his advice while not exaggerating the urgency of next steps. Finally, he escorted us to the scheduling department to ensure that the correct tests and follow-up appointments were coordinated; he also contacted the necessary surgeon to relay the results of his assessment. This group of physicians is like going to an assembly line. No one cares about you as a person. Doctors don't want to spend time with you and certainly don't care about you. I saw 2 different cardiologist and an EP for over 15 months and none of them could get my BP under control. The PA's they employ are sloppy in their work and lie about what they document about you. If you are being seen there get a copy of your records. You'll be amazed by what is in the record that they never talk to you about. 2 visits by another Cardiologist and my BP is under control. The doctors and PA's just want to hit'd you in and Hurd you out. Staff is not pleasant or helpful but they sure get your money first. read more

This Group is the most unorganized medical group we have dealt with. Because my husband has a pacemaker, other medical procedures require clearance from his cardiologist. Sounds easy enough, right? Nope! Had a release request submitted for an MRI. The spot for the MRI scheduled 3 weeks out to allow CS to fax the release. Got to said MRI appt no clearance form received. Sat at MRI facility for 3 hours while receptionist attempted to get release via phone. No luck! The person at CS actually hung up on her at one point. We ended up getting the required form and driving it to CS and sat in the office managers office till she hand walked it around to get what was needed. The medical records gal actually tried to tell us we might have to wait up to 10 days to get it. We got the MRI the following day because we were persistent and did the footwork ourselves. Fast forward months later.. again my husband is facing a surgery that requires clearance. This time, I requested a hard copy of the clearance prior to leaving because he had to go in for an ekg., because of the previous issue. Thankfully, we did because today I received a call from a different medical facility, not even related to the current request, they had faxed clearance to the wrong doctor and office. So frustrating as a patient to have to deal with such incompetence! read more

I have been a patient at this facility for quite awhile. My dealings with my doctor have been ok, but now I am totally thru with them. I was hurt on my job and as a result I had to have a new DOT physical. I needed a form from my cardiologist for the doctor doing the physical I dropped the form off at C S on Thursday with a fax number to send the signed form. After several phone calls trying to find out why it had not been sent, no answer. Get the run around on the phone. One told me to leave my number and a message , would call back within 48 hours. It has now been 6 days, 3 business days and no return calls. I can not go back to work until I have the DOT physical. I explained this to them, but seems like they just don't give a damn. Maybe if I paid a co-pay they would be more caring. I will never go back to them. read more

Really fed up of this place! Our doctor is nice, however the staff gets a little bitchy at you if you ask questions. Something that really sucks here is you make an appointment and there is no concern if you yourself has to jump through hoops to make sure everything thing is clear and you are set. THEN BAM! a week before your set time you get a call wanting too reschedule your time. You make a date and time for a reason, not to be called up and told all doctors are doing different times. whats way worse on their part is getting a call from them to change the date 5 times. Had a back to back appointment in 2 days and they call up to change the later time, really how stupid is this! 2 people same last name go in and take up 20 minuets of doctors time to be told you are fine se you in 6 months. Waste of money, no compassion on the staff side. 2 years have been seeing doc and every damn appointment time has been changed, I think it's time to go find another. I've never been to a more unprofessional Dr. office in my life. I took my aunt to see an cardiologist at Cardiac Solutions. (The Peoria Location) on 94th and Thunderbird. The clinical check-in department was extremely loud with inappropriate and unprofessional conversations going on between the medical assistants..I come from a medical background myself and this is the absolute worst I've ever seen. I heard a Medical Assistant by the name of Courtney state that a patient was so rude she wanted to push him into the wall in his wheel chair! I'm appalled. I'd never take my aunt or any other relatives to Cardiac Solutions. I'm sure management won't do anything about this. From the looks of it this seems to be the norm around this place. I also witnessed medical assistants using vape pens filled with THC on the job. I heard them say they were stoned beyond belief. They smelled like pot. read more

This practice is a well oiled machine, the staff are well trained and like sprinters in a race jack rabbit fast, tests are done in a timely manner, it functions like a McDonald's and has a personality to match. If you want to go to a place where work flow is clock work fast this is your place. Dare not explain yourself to anyone because they are not listening really... While schooled in generic politeness that is well rehearsed it really goes no deeper than that... Do not take it personal they won't. Go here if you want to be cut off mid sentence, because listening is not a acquired skill. You might be a patient in name, but really your are your birthday first, your appointment time second and your name third. Every issue I have tried to bring to this practice's attention has been met with a frustrating resistance to my communication. That communication not fitting into their rehearsed responses. The "Patient Portal" is to pay your bill...Two way communication is not to be had here. They advertise ...Innovation & Excellence in Cardiac Care...with a Personal Touch...I must warn anyone here that while this practice has some of the best cardiologists its a dismal disappointment regarding all that personal stuff... Call after call is an uphill battle to get to the right person, you get switched around allot, you will be told that different contracted services (they choose not you) are beyond their control. A direct request to get a message to the actual practitioner was replied by monastic silence. No message will reach your actual doctor ever... really... When the physician leaves the room they are totally gone M.I.A.... There you become the property of the Cardiac Mill. I had done research to find this very practice and this very doctor being enthusiastic and confident my choice was wise but the systems that support the practice are not fully cogent or were really as advertised...They should remove the "with a Personal Touch." from the website. read more
