Not only is he caring and attentive to your health needs he's also kinda funny in a quirky yet personable way. Went here for a preventive check after a recommendation from my PCP. Got a sooner appointment with Dr. Salil Sethi & for his diagnosis and handling method I would rate them 5-star. The clinic itself is huge with many staff and they always have patients in abundance in the lobby but as you can expect most are seniors. My checkup was done nicely and my experience with all staff was excellent. The clinic is super clean, and Checkin and checkout were quick too. I would recommend this place. Not sure about other available doctors but Dr. Salil gets my recommendation. And thankfully after diagnose, it was confirmed that there is no issue with my heart LOL & I can keep chucking beers. read more

It's hard to know where to start... They assigned me to a doctor and he did an interview and gave me a coupld of tests. I read what he wrote in my chart and he totally lied. I am a Retired RN. I requested a new doctor. I was told once you get a doctor that is your doctor. Well fortunately they did not give me the doctor my primary doctor sent me to. I told them I wanted to see the MD my Primary MD referred me to. I told them at the appointment desk that I had patients rights and if I choose to request another md i can. She finally caved and gave me the doctor that I was really referred to. He turned out to be a real jerk. I had just gotten out of the hospital after being hospitalized for a week because my pulse went do to 32. They have an employee stationed in the hospital. She seemed top notched. She said I needed a 30 day holter monitor and some other test, and was to see my doc the day after I am released. I went to that appointment with my husband. The doctor walked in and said"what are you doing here. There is nothing wrong with you!) Typical of the snyd remarks he had made in prior appts. My husband asked him what is a normal heart rate. Doc said 60-100" (we already knew the answer, I am a retired RN. My husband said why did my wife's pulse go down to 32? the doc said "Oh i am not worried about that she just has some bradicardia" I gave my husband a look like I told you he was a jerk!! I never ever would go to him or any of the doctors there. I have heard many people tell me the same thing. I went to a new cardiologist from Honor Health. She is wonderful. Guess what, I am finally getting the 30 day holter monitor starting today. My lab work came back a mess. I am being evaluated for a pacemaker. So far my primary and cardiologist believe my sa node is not working correctly. I have a history of being told i had a bad spot on my heart close to the sa node. I have been told, that really makes sense as to why your sa node has some problems. It fits. Off the the electrophysiologist team at Honor Health. This tells me I did the correct thing. I could possibly have died had I continued to get the doctor at Cardiac Solutions. I was hospitalized three times under the care if this place thru the er. But Nothing is wrong with me he said.... Thank God I am a retired RN instead of just someone old with no medical background!! Don't Go There!! read more

Dr. Haas is pretty incompetent. He couldn't even read my heart monitor results correctly. He thought because I pushed the alert and put resting (as in I was sitting down) that I was sleeping. Someone needs to re-train this doctor on reading results. He told me that my extreme Bradycardia was liveable and that I didn't have any issues. I didn't realize blackouts were liveable. Tell my children that when I blackout behind the wheel of a car and die. What a disrespectful POS. I had a competent EP doctor give me a pacemaker and I no longer have blackouts, weakness in my arms/legs/feet, and I don't feel like I'm going to die from walking up a flight of stairs. Turns out I had more issues than extreme Bradycardia, I received a cardiac MRI from a different qualified doctor. If you need a good doctor go see Dr. John Beshai @ the heart rhythm institute on Bell road. He's an electrophysiologist. He has all 5 star reviews because he actually cares, unlike Dr. Paul Haas. read more

Pretty impressed with the efficiency of this place. First visit and everything went smoothly. Hopefully I won't have the need to be a regular patient there. From check in to check out it the staff was well trained and the wait was minimal. As for the doctor, I saw Dr. Kates and he seems thorough. Had an appointment scheduled for 12:45. They called me and asked if I could move my appointment to 1:45 they had a call off. Ok I can try to do that. At 1:32 I called them said hey I'm running about 15-20 minutes late do I need to reschedule or will you be able to see me. They tell me that's fine come in. Get checked in at 2:02 apologize for running late told no problem. Five minutes later I am called to the desk. We can't see you today you're only allowed to be 14 minutes late. When I called I said I was running 15-20 minutes late, and it was not a problem. Response we aren't going to see you today when do you want to reschedule. You may think your in the medical field, your in the guest service business. You guys messed up. First by not being staffed to handle appointments you scheduled second by not training people answering the phone on your rules and guidelines third by not addressing the issue at check in finally by the most important thing by not training your staff to just do the right thing for the guest. It's not going to matter I am just one person however my insurance or I will not be giving you one more penny. read more

It's unfortunate you can't leave no or negative stars. This complaint is less about the doctors at Cardiac Solutions and more about their billing practices. In May 2020, after a cardiac arrest and emergency life saving services on the side of the road, my loved one was taking to Arrowhead Hospital and treated by Dr. Todd James. Fortunately, it turned out that Dr. James took his medical insurance. All good, right? Wrong, it's only all good IF the doctor's office honors the decision of the insurance company. As you can imagine after a cardiac arrest, we were swimming in medical bills. Now, over a year later, the only issue remaining is with Cardiac Solutions, whose billing department is uncooperative and uncommunicative. We paid them the amount the insurance determined was patient responsibility. The issue is that they refuse to write off the full amount of disallowed charges per the Explanation of Benefits from the insurance company. Let me reiterate, they are an IN NETWORK provider. This is NOT an out-of-network dispute. They AGREED to take the insurance, but now are not honoring that agreement. I am seeking out assistance from regulatory agencies in resolving this, as we have not been able to, and the insurance company has not been able to, get them to do the right thing. If they had the best cardiologist in the world, I would still NEVER go to them again. Their doctors may be okay, but their billing office is disgraceful. From reading some other reviews here on YELP, it seems that this is not a one-off situation. This appears to be their business as usual. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Otherwise, you may go into cardiac arrest, have a heart attack, or at least an anxiety attack, dealing with their billing department! read more

I felt my son was put on a conveyor belt. Everyone was. We were definitely rushed through and then I was to take him and wait in line which was a very long line for scheduling after I saw the surgeon. The surgeon didn't put his echo in the computer properly, and his assistants and schedulers had to reach him several times so they could schedule the correct echocardiogram for him. The communication between each department was very poor beginning with Dr. Kawajawa and it continued on down the line which was why they called me four times before they could schedule him for the correct type of echocardiogram he needed. I'm seriously thinking of getting another surgeon for him, because we were definitely pushed through and so was everyone else according to the waiting room and the lines against the wall where we had to stand without chairs to sit in the scheduling department. read more

I saw Dr. Greenburg today. I was very impressed with his care, concern and knowledge!! I had seen my primary doctor and another cardiologist recently regarding concerns. It was deemed my condition was not too concerning. I was put on medication and I questioned if I should indeed take the medication. Dr. Greenburg referred me to Simon Med for a test to determine if I have any artery blockage. It is a "two minute test" without the need for any IV's or dyes. Insurance does not cover the cost, but if I request to pay cash as advised, it will cost $71.00 out of pocket. I like the idea that I will have the extra assurance to know the condition of my heart after this additional test option. If I have blockage, I will need medication. If I do not have blockage, I will not need to take unnecessary medication. That is worth the $71.00 to know, and I appreciate the option to have the test done!! read more

Find another practice where doctors respect and listen to patient concerns and take steps to address them. I was referred here to see Dr Sandoval. Not only did he disregard my concerns about testing that required anesthesia but he insisted I needed to have the test. When I arrived at Banner Thunderbird and they demanded I pay upfront before they would even bill insurance I objected. Banner then contacted the Dr who told them the test wasn't necessary and that other testing approaches could be pursued. Wow! What can I say? I will never see this doctor or practice again. Not only were my concerns completely disregarded but they are now billing me for another supposedly needed test that a second cardiologist has said is completely unnecessary read more

This office is not Accommodating!. Patient is unable to come into the office to see the Dr. He had all his test completed, just needed the results. Phone receptionist said no he cannot have a zoom or phone call! Really, this is unacceptable! You're telling me during the covid lockdown, you didn't do calls. I went to the Talavi location for an appt with Dr. Bhatia. The Dr. is okay maybe a B- grade. However had to wait way too long to see the Dr. Waiting room horrible: chairs are horrible to sit in, they look dirty and stained, they do not accommodate handicapped person(s), triage techs do not know how to project their voices for people who are hard of hearing. Same disgusting chairs in triage. When in triage you have to back to horrible chairs and wait again. You get called back, same horrible chairs in exam room................. then I waited over 20 minutes to see Dr...... Went to bathroom the door was heavier than a solid wood (outside door) How can a handicapped person be expected open the this door. No outside handicapped parking??? No out side button to push to open doors. Worst over all Dr. office experience EVER. Not going back...... read more

Went to Cardiac Solutions for what I thought was a scheduled appointment. Upon check in they said that they had rescheduled my appointment to 3 weeks from now and had left a message on my home phone which nobody uses since everyone has a cell phone. Checked messages on my home phone and there is no message. No sure why they rescheduled since the Doctor that I was there to see was in today. Probably someone who's insurance company reimburses them better. Going to find a new Doctor's office to do business with. Their business practices are totally unacceptable. read more

My mom went to Dr Batia for 2 years. During this time, she not only did not get more than 10 minutes of Dr Batia's time each appointment; but Dr Batia did not review her records, check her blood pressure log, or provide clear guidance on what was wrong with my mom's heart. I believe it is because she didn't know, or maybe she didn't care enough. The level of dismissal of my mom's concerns is offensive, and now that we have found a new cardiologist, we find that she is in congestive heart failure, her medication is not adequate and several of these issues could have been prevented or managed to keep her out of this position with better meds and better attention. If you are not good at advocating for yourself or demanding attention from your doctor, I suggest avoiding this practice or at least Dr Batia. I think she is the head of the department too, which is frightening in many ways. Go to Honor Health. or even Banner. Skip this place. read more

First, I want to stress that the receptionists and techs in this office are great. Polite, professional, patient, and competent. They get 5 stars. But the doctor? She gets two stars at best. Dr. Bhatia a very intelligent, professional doctor, but she REALLY needs to work on her bedside manner. I have a host of health issues and am always in and out of doctors offices several times a month, so I have tons of experience with medical professionals. I haven't felt this disrespected and not listened to in many years. She would ask questions and then either cut me off or argue with me. I don't ramble but she apparently is psychic and knew everything about me. She argued with me about nearly everything, and I'm a very polite person who doesn't argue with much of anyone, esp medical personnel. It put me on the defensive the whole appointment. She's probably seen it and heard it all in her career, but that's unacceptable to cut patients off and argue with them. It's uncalled for. I'm canceling my follow up apps and will never go back. read more

Two times now we show up 15 minutes early to our appointment and wait an additional hour and a half to be seen just for the doctor (Rahul Sharma) to walk in and be in there for one minute. He could have had someone call to say "you no longer need testing thank you". The staff is extremely nice and I have no issues with anyone there. I hate that at least with this doctor I feel like just a number and my time isn't valuable to them. Only their copays and getting in as many patients as possible in one hour! read more

I have been a patient of Cardiac Solutions for many years. Over the years they have always been there for me. Without Dr. Ellis (PCP) and Cardiac Solutions (Dr. Kates), I would not be here today. They where interested in getting and keep me healthy and were there every step of the way, before and after bypass surgical, getting me back to good health. The office staff is very helpful and professional. It's not to hard to get an appointment and i am always seen within 5 to 10 minutes of my appointment. read more

Post surgery outpatient discharged without pain medicine. Sufferer experienced terrible over night shivering from pain post surgery. When I spoke to the on-call doctor about alleviating the pain I was told to give him Ibuprofen and Tylenol, neither helped the full body pain and shiver compulsions. I was also advised to bring him into the ER if it continues. Hundreds of thousands of dollars spent so far and our treatment plan is over the counter medication that doesn't touch the pain. My recommendation is for all future patients: discuss and plan out a pain management regimen. There is no reason to allow patients to suffer. read more

I went in for my appointment with Dr. James. The check in process was fine and the triage process. I was called n and seen fairly quickly. After that it went downhill. The doctor was rude, didn't really care about anything I had to say and basically told me that I was anorexic which is far from the truth. After insulting me, he wanted me to do 2 tests. I left extremely upset but decided to do the tests. I went for the echocardiogram but have been rescheduled twice for the vest and follow up. I decided to just cancel the second test and follow up and have requested my results of the echocardiogram so I can close the door to this chapter and move on! read more

I have started seeing Dr kates again after they started accepting my insurance again. I have moronic muscular dystrophy, and various other health issues. I am in the process of getting clearances for bypass surgery. I recently ended up in the er with afib. My follow up appointments have been two of the longest wait times ever. The first one, to initially see the electrical guy, I waited 2 hours before being taken back to a room. When I left there we scheduled a nurse visit. After having to reschedule 2 times, I was finally able to go today. My appointment was 1:30. I arrived 1:25. I waited 1 1/2 hours to be taken back to a room. Why? My time is valuable. I had to move several other things around because of these horrible delays. The staff is very friendly, the Drs great, but the stress induced by the long wait times gets a 1 star from me. The most disturbing thing today is 3 people came in after me and where seen before me. The only explanation...we are running behind, both times. Then the nurse took my BP, and went over blood thinner info I already knew...a total waste of time...i could say more....thid is just a 1 star.... read more
