Great experience! Dr. Karnick, my Cardiologist, wanted me to have some vascular screening done. Today, I had Ultrasound testing done of my Abdominal Aorta, legs, and Carotid arteries. I arrived on time and only waited 2 minutes to be called back for my tests. Christina did my first tests, and Savanah performed my Carotid artery Ultrasound. Both Christina and Savanah were Professional and efficient. I am a retired Registered Nurse, so I can judge medical competency fairly well. Both techs seemed experienced and capable. I have only been a patient of Dr. Karnick for a short time. But so far, I have been very impressed with the entire group. read more

If I could give this organization a -0 I would. It is more about their lack of customer service than my husband's Cardiologist; Dr Gupta whom my husband has a special relationship with. Customer Service is ZERO. You can't even get to speak with someone when you are trying to pay a bill! I just can't believe how these Dr's can tolerate such poor service because lack of service can adversely impact their ability to get and maintain patients. Service has continually deteriorated over the past 18 months ever since they got a "new" phone system. This phone systems pushes EVERY call to a voice messaging system. Husband HAD his first appointment today at 2:30 with Dr Mann, he checked in, paid copay and waited and waited and waited. Was told the Dr came in an hour late and there were still 3 people ahead of him at 3pm. Asked for a refund of copay, was told manager was with a patient. Will dispute charge and NOT going back. OMG. If you have cardiac issues, you can only expect them to get worse under the supervision of doctors at CVC. The doctors at CVC own this business and circulate among the half dozen offices in the Phoenix area. Based on my experience and from reading dozens of previous reviews, all the CVC offices are the next thing to a scam. They're mills for appointments and medical tests, which once conducted yield no results or treatment plan, only bills and invitations for more appointments and ever more expensive imaging. read more

I would NOT recommend mr. Gupta. He does not listen to the questions my wife and I were asking. He is very sarcastic. I have done everything he asked of me. Dr. Patel walked into the room and immediately told me I was too young to be in his office. Every single symptom I told him I was experiencing he had a reason for it. He never checked my oxygen levels or my blood pressure which was a concern I had. He told me because I'm young, a woman, and went through childbirth 3 years ago that my heart is strong and there's no reason for concern even though my symptoms began long before that. He didn't listen to any of my concerns he just had a comeback for everything I said. He scheduled my heart testing for weeks out instead of right away. He kept cutting me off and didn't give me time to think about what he had asked before he moved onto the next question. I waited in the waiting room for 1.2 hours and He didn't even talk to me for 15 minutes. read more

My father at the age of 88 was coaxed in to having a TAVR heart valve replacement in November 2023. Needless to say, the surgery was botched when the valve wall was torn forcing him to stay in ICU for 8 days. He then went into physical therapy for 3 weeks to learn how to breathe and walk properly due to non activity and being placed on a ventilator. When he was released, he was consistently out of breath and unable to regain his strength and balance. He died by falling in early March 2024. The arrogance of the doctor (whom I shall call Dr Man*) was predictable and insulting needless to say. In a nutshell, I find it hard to believe that my father was prodded into having such a risky procedure at the age of 88 only to expire within 4 months. Take this for what its worth.... read more

Something is seriously wrong with the way this office is run. Got a referral for my son to see them. First they claim no referral and will call us once referral received. After no call one week later...they claim their system is down. Will call us when it's up. Two weeks go by. No call. I call them. Supposedly computers are still down! Well at that point I lost it! And they then hung up on me. Guess what? It's been thirty days since referral done. Totally unacceptable that my son is not even able to get an appointment! I filed a grievance with Blue Cross Blue Shield. And asked PCP to give son another referral to someone else. Hopefully PCP will not refer any more patients here. We just wasted a whole month. Been trying for months to get my INR strips. Had the company that provides them calling telling me that they cannot get cardiovascular consultants' cuminin clinic to return their calls and provide a script for my strips. This is a service I've been using for close to a decade. All of the sudden because somebody dropped the ball in their office and I need a new script and can't get it. I was told today that somebody would get back to me at the end of the month as they're only in the office supposedly once a month. When I told them that that was not acceptable because this has been going on for so long through no fault of my own, they hung up on me (Sarah). All I need is a prescription which I should never have needed to begin with if they had done their jobs properly. In the last month the company has called and left a message once and then faxed three more times once a week requests for this prescription...... I have more to add to this as my husband just called on my behalf and the lady who supposedly is in only once a month was the one who answered the phone. Mind you I only made my call a half an hour before his call. They are now sending out the script today and having a talk with Sarah. However none of this should have been an issue to begin with. Very disappointed and somewhat concerned about the quality of care I might receive going forward. read more

Unprofessional in every aspect. Appointments cancelled TWICE with absolutely NO notice and no apologies from the front desk staff, other than to say "that's not my department." Doctor is not professional and completely lacks in bedside manner. Have been trying to work with them for 8 weeks while pregnant, due to CARDIAC concerns and there still has been NO follow up or phone call of results or to schedule necessary testing. I went to my trusted CVC cardiologist. I needed a referral to an interventional csrdiologist for a Watchman implant. Between the referral time and my procedure, CVCfired their best most trusted doctors in a cost cutting measure. I barely saw Dr Krauthammer before the implant ant never after. They were to have called when a follow up was needed. I called 911 from home when things felt tettibly wrong. By the time the paramedics arrived, I was down. They revived me just long enough to get information. Then I coded a second time and because I had a cardiac tamponade from the Watchman procedure, there was no circulation for 18 minutes until the EDdoctor sucked the old blood from my pericardium. I was in a coma for almost 3 weeks and in the ICU for 5. I WAS VISITED FOR 45 SECONDS by some random CBC doc who had the nerve to charge my insurance for a complex visit! Krauthammer was on the ICU floor regularly and checked on me nNOT ONCE! I am not some random parient. I am a physician of over 40 years and know that this is not a group to ever use. read more

Dr. Damian is inconsiderate and unprofessional. Every time I have been in the office he has been an hour or more late. My first appointment I waited 4 hours to be seen. The staff was not very pleasant either. If you complain they make you feel like you did something wrong. I highly suggest you find a different doctor that will value your time as well as his time. I do not have any other reason to visit this place other than to bring my mother here for all her appointments. I witness every time the incompetence and ineptness of the front office staff. The Doctors I've had contact with are very professional and caring. So many times elderly patients are dropped off for an appt that does not exists. Leaving them in a bind to reorder the transportation which left already. I've just witnessed another appt screw up of changing and dropping appointments. Cardio Consultants, and particularly Dr. Pozen, or extremely poor and patient care. I have been trying to coordinate with them to get a hold over medication for my mother that Dr. Pozen prescribed. She ran out of her medication and needed a little additional until her next appointment. The doctors office refuse to believe that she was out of the pills, and I was forced to administrate her medication without a vital prescription. How many times is a person supposed to call The doctors office to convey this information before action occurs? I called twice, in addition to contacting the pharmacy twice. Dr. Pozen and his office just don't care. Expect long periods on hold every time you attempt to call, they don't care. read more

I have been this doctor's group for several years. Prior to Dr. Pozun, I saw Dr. Kates, so have been a patient for at least 10 years. I have to say that the staff are some of the most difficult people I have ever worked with. Calling them on the phone to make an appointment or ask a question is difficult. I get push back, rude comments or they are just downright confrontational. I am finally switching-I can't stand dealing with them anymore. O.K. doctor but awful, AWFUL STAFF. God syndrome! Worst place ever! I got double billed for a test and they refused to reverse the charges since another doctor decided to also look at my results. They "farm" out your file to other doctors in the office just so they can bill your insurance company and make you pay additional co-pays. Then, you have to pay yet another co-pay just to get your results. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE... unless you are wealthy and don't care about over-paying even when you have insurance. So in the end, for one visit to the doctor and a test, I had to pay $120.00 in co-pays!! Where as it would have been $40 anywhere else. My list of issues/incidents is too much to list here, but I can summarize by saying that only one encounter out of the dozens I've had with them has gone smoothly. My wife and I went see a doctor here for her heart and we came in at 8:45am today so she can fill paper work out, she got done in 15 minutes and gave it to the lady that gave to her to put in the computer, we literally sat in the waiting room for 1 hour and 15 minutes while the lady was texting and doing other stuff on her phone and not working like she is supposed to. It's really hard to find good people to run anything since they do into their damn phones and not doing there job. It took that lady 1 hour to put my wife's paper work in the computer and it should've taken 20 minutes the most. I don't care where you went to college at your a fucking idiot and I know I'm not the only one that thinks so cause there was a lot of us complaining about the front office staff. Listen to the people and get new front office staff since the others ones can't do their job right. In my time of waiting I watched 15 people walk in and get taken back real quick and leave while we were still sitting there I don't recommend this place to no one it's not worth sitting here anyways. read more
