They no longer answer the phones (every time I've called) and want you to leave a voice mail or switch to their texting service. Do you know how long it takes to make or switch an appointment using a texting service? No, they do not answer the texts right away. I finally gave up and sent a message to cancel my appointment. (Painful lump on my testicle) what I got was Dr Elfat Rumman getting in my face and telling me I need to see a psychiatrist for my "overwhelming depression" and that "most men are scared to go." She would not stop telling me "you got a 10" I would ask what does that mean? "It's not good you got a 10. Your depression isn't being controlled." I wasn't there for depression! I asked her if there was another docter I could talk too. "No. I'm the only docter here." I was stunned to hear this. So I asked her to clearify that there were no other docter's that worked there? "Yes, why do you want to see a different docter anyway?" I told her because she wasn't listening to me. All she did was start talking about my "depression" and how bad it is. At this point I put my face in my hands and said.... "Oh. My. Fucking. God." Her response was and I truly do quote this. "that's a bad word, you need to leave." I left the room. Turns out there are several docter's on staff!!! Imagine that. The staff kept apologizing to me and put me in a different room to see another docter. At some point with me talking to the office staff Dr Elfat Rumman called the head physician and told him that I'm hostel and am making her feel uncomfortable. At this point the office manager came to me apologized some more and asked me to leave. She did refund my co pay. The only reason I came to this office is because my old primary closed up shop and sold all the patient care info to these new people. After seeing her for a couple years I started seeing her as a migraine doctor as well. She would listen to my concerns and try to figure out how to treat my migraines. I moved to Flagstaff and saw her for a little while after moving two hours away. After dealing with the VA and not getting anything accomplished, I decided to start making the two hour drive again and get treated by her again.

This is why healthcare in the US is so terrible.. we pay $400 a month for insurance.. then $80 just to get 10 minutes of the doctor's time and to be told there's nothing she can do... just for asking how much it would cost.. they just want your money and to get you out of there as fast as possible. Experiences like this are the reason why people have to make trips out of the country to actually get good healthcare. Every 2-3 weeks like clockwork, I receive yet another bill and a scary collection letter threatening my credit, even though I've called their office dozens of times, provided my credit card on file for auto-payments (multiple times), confirmed charges were processed, and received apologies each time: "We'll note it in your account and stop this." Spoiler: they never do. It's been the same cycle for three straight years -- pay the supposed balance, get assurances it's fixed, then boom, another collection notice arrives stressing me out and making me question if my payments are even being applied correctly. I've double-paid certain charges just to make it stop, but the letters keep coming anyway. This isn't "poor customer service"; it's incompetent, harassing, and makes you feel like a deadbeat when you're not.
