He presents himself as a contractor but subs all the work out…read more if there is an issue, he tells you to work it out with the sub contractor. .The subs try to hide issues or don't mention anything unless you see it and say something. I asked Winsett several times to come out and look at the issues and he would never show. I had to redo things his subcontractor messed up like the doors weren't installed correctly. I had to take out and redo them and shim properly. The windows aren't completely square so they are hard to open. I did not catch that until I moved in and tried opening the windows. Also the concrete was poured after the building was built. The garage, house and porches cracked almost immediately. Asked him to come out and look at it several times and did not show up. Asked for him to make it right and I am still waiting. if your a contractor or in this case a general subbing the work out, you should be making sure the subs are doing their job correctly and not covering the mistakes up and also addressing the concerns of the customer. Not making the customer deal with the subs themselves. If you are getting paid, wouldn't you want to be there to make sure everyone is doing. their job correctly? I mean, isn't that the reason the customer is paying you? Otherwise you are getting money for pretty much doing nothing at all.
