Though I hesitated I am a man of second chances. Tim contacted me, wanted me to remind him of the job so he could make sure he was quoting the right thing. I did and he sent me a message quote. I ended up allowing them to the do the work not because they were the cheapest but because of the explanation of what needed to be done and how they would do it. The main issue was that I had some leaks and needed some roof repair. I also asked for some gutter guards as well. I was given a date and they showed up promptly. The main guy on site was great and kept me informed of the process. A second crew came to do the gutter guards and they do did a good job and was very quick also. During the roof repair, as the guys were walking, a couple planks were busted which caused more leaks. There was no way the crew would have known this at the time but when I realized it I called Tim back and he scheduled a time to have the crew return. Again they showed up promptly, repaired those areas and was gone in a very quick time.

Oscar showed up right on time and after talking to me for a few minutes climbed up on the roof and did a complete inspection. After completing the inspection Oscar said he would work up an estimate and email it to me. He got the price to me the next day. I choose them to do the job after comparing them with my other estimates. They were able to do the job two days later and were done in one day. Owner and the crew were very friendly and professional and did a good job. They also cleaned up the site very well and hauled it all away. We had Oscar come out and do some roof repairs for us, as well as install some gutter leaf guards…read moreand replace a damaged gutter downspout that had occured during a storm back in the fall. His estimate was better than that of other area competitors, and came recommended by friends as well as here on Yelp. The roof over our screened in porch is nearly a flat roof. Water had been collecting up there, and since it was able to do that, was seeping it's way in between the shingles and damaging the wood underneath as well as leaking into the porch itself. We need to replace the shingles with a solution made for flat roofs so that water could not penetrate, however, our HoA mandated that the roof match the color of the shingles used on the rest of the house. That made a rubber roof impossible because that only comes in black or white. Oscar recommended instead a rolled roof, which we were able to find in slate grey. That matches the currently lain shingles on the rest of the house really well, since there was no need to do anything to those. As soon as we had a day with good enough weather, his team came over to install it and replace any lumber that was damaged by the old. They followed up on several subsequent days to finish odd tasks, like replacing the damaged downspout, installing the gutter guards, and finally doing the final touches on the roof to ensure their worksmanship. I am not a roofer, but everything looks sealed and tight, and hopefully the days of porch leaks are over for us. Thank you Oscar!
