As survivors, they are resilient and believe in being there for one another. I had a list of questions for the young gentleman who took care of me that day. The questions were regarding the products in the shop, his experience as a Kerr County resident, and what he has witnessed in terms of the before and after the floods. He was very kind, patient, empathetic, and professional yet people friendly. He knew the products very well which is not always the case in various establishments. The way he provided top notch customer made me want to return the next day and I did. I will be back the next time I am in town. Atmosphere: The store was clean, beautifully decorated and quite welcoming. I googled the shop, and found a photo of the identical dessert I had just ordered. The desserts were very good, but I can't justify a business upcharging me for another bakery's goods, when I could've gone to Baklovah and supported the bakers who actually made them. I don't know, maybe this is common practice and I'm just completely out of the loop, but I assumed I was supporting a small bakery that made their items in house.
