This company is one big APPLEHOLE!! We were new to Arkansas last year and chose CARDS....unfortunately. Unbeknownst to us, we signed a one-year contract so the first two weeks when we didn't get trash picked up, we realized we were screwed....at least for a year. So, we've waited it out through bad service after bad service over the past year and were ECSTATIC to cancel our service contract. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only issue now is that they won't pick up their two containers. It's been over a week, and like everyone else, I've called every single day and get the same BULLCRAP script from the customer reps that it will be picked up by 7pm--nope, been playing this game with them for 7 days![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of using this service! CARDS is terrible at keeping their routes running on time. They have been a day late on pick-ups several times this year alone. I called on 11/12/2025 to have two mattresses and an old TV set picked up for $50 each item. I had to pay in advance. I was told it will be picked up on the 13th. It's now the 18th and the items have not been picked up and they missed the scheduled pickup yesterday. I'm moving on to another company. read more

Honestly, negative stars are deserved based on my experience with Cards thus far. On April 7th, I signed up for 2-bin per week service after having a different trash company. After signing up and paying, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the day before my pickup date (called on 4/10, pickup was to be 4/11) because I had trash in my old company's bin and I wanted to make sure the Cards driver would pick it up. I was assured by the CSR that the driver would take it, and she told me she would even put a note for the driver advising him of such. When he came, he collected just the trash in the Cards bin, leaving my prior company's bin full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was frustrating, but I chalked it up to new-customer problems and figured I would handle it the following week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Last week, I again called the day before my scheduled service (call on 4/17, service on 4/18). I explained my situation to the CSR and she said she saw where the note had been placed from the week prior. I again asked for my previous provider's bin to be collected. I explained that, at this point, the trash in that bin was about 3 weeks old, and it was crucial that it needed to be picked up. The CSR apologized, said she would put another note in, as well as email dispatch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My service day came, and my neighbors with Cards had their trash picked up, but now, BOTH my bins were left full. I was completely skipped, even my Cards bin! [[HIGHLIGHT]]That afternoon (4/18) I called and spoke with yet another CSR who said she would email dispatch and make notes. I was told by this CSR that she would call me back after she received a response from dispatch. She didn't call back though, so I called in a few minutes before 5pm to get an update and was told that dispatch responded that my trash would be collected Monday or Tuesday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 4/22) I called because my trash has still not been collected. I was told that the "ticket was still open" and that sometimes their drivers collect even late into the evening, but she would email dispatch and call me back once dispatch responded. Okay, fine. But, she never called me back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is now Wednesday. My trash has been sitting at the curb for multiple weeks. The bin from my previous provider is filled with maggots and flies and the smell is abhorrent, because the trash has been in there for a month now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The CSRs have all been nice and apologetic, but they're just CSRs and they know it. Cards clearly trains them to handle calls without opportunity for escalation. They tell customers that they cannot call dispatch, they have to email, because "they're not in the same building as us".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Apparently in 2025, dispatchers don't use phones at Cards. And drivers can't read. And no one is expected to do what they say they're going to do. Unfortunately for me, I only have two options for residential trash service - Cards and my prior provider. So, I'm stuck dealing with this blatant incompetence and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. If Cards doesn't collect ALL my trash this week, I'm going to rent a uhaul trailer and drop my previous company's bin at their office. Originally signed up for this when they came through advertising competitive rates and the first month was supposed to be free. After a neighbor started with the service a few weeks before mine was due to start I called and canceled the service over a month before they were set to start. Even with a certified letter to confirm the cancellation, imagine my surprise when they sent a bill for the first month (apparently NOT free even though the sales order said it would be). I have to refute thsi with my credit company now since CARDS customer service is impossible to get through. Stay as far away from this company as you can. read more

Update of my review of CARDS. Please read the past review for hard data on how CARDs treats their customers. Now the update. CARDS told us that they would refund our money on 2/14/2024. They said the funds would be returned in about 2 weeks. It's now 3/26/2024 and we have not received our refund. Now once again, we are calling CARDS for information on why they cannot fulfill their commitment to us. It's like they tell you what you're expecting to hear, without actually doing anything, to honor their commitments. read more

Worst company ever. They charge for services they didn't render. No contract but they will hit you with all kinds of fees. They will change your service from what it was when they acquired your account. And charge you more fees. They even tried to charge me to remove a trash bin that I own. My service was under an implied contract. The provided a service; I paid for that service. But they continue to charge even with no services being provided. I should have had a refund for May but told them to apply my payment to their fictitious "fees" instead. I won't pay them another dime. read more

They don't deserve a one star rating. Cards bought out our local waste service company several months ago. We never had a problem with our trash being picked up. But since Cards took over we are lucky it gets picked up every other week. This is not just my house this is for our entire neighborhood. I work for a small business that has been like many others here, forced to use CARDS as they bought the small, local company we were using. Since beginning in early 2024, it has been a constant struggle to get our waste removed. Not only is this obviously nasty, but can and does disrupt business and puts us at odds with our neighbors. But--the billing department is doing OKAY. This company is absolutely incompetent. I agree with the others that they must be committing massive fraud. Same story; missed pick ups, miscommunication with customer service, missed opportunities and promises. I feel bad for the people that work for CARDS. If I could give a -star I would. I never chose this company as they bought out C&R in Jan of 2024. We pay quarterly what a big mistake. They missed once first quarter, "hey things happen". Then, from April- end of May they didn't pick up trash 2 times. First time, they missed 2 weeks. Second time, they missed 4 weeks for an entire neighborhood. They block your number when you complain. They will say they are escalating to their manager "Brian " for a credit to your account. He never calls. Took us 2 weeks to cancel because you have to speak with someone to do it. We had to use family phones. We still were paid till July. They won't refund the last month. Even when they make you pay 2 months in advance for quarterly. We never even got our cans in the 5 months we were with them. Absolutely, worst company! Do not use them, Nor fall for the good comments. You can think me for saving you money and a headache. I will be contacting the attorney general for AR and MO. They are a fraudulent business, and I have video proof of the services I never received. Bet Republic is loving you right now. read more

Four weeks I have tried to get them to pick up and I get a lot of lip service on the phone, yet my dumpster has filled up. This company provides awful service. When they bought our previous company they raised prices and didn't pick up our trash for about a month. Then they started picking it up a day earlier than our pickup day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We even called to confirm our pickup day and they told us the day we were expecting but trash was still being picked up a day earlier.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You have to call them if they just randomly skip you (which does happen with this company) and then they might pick up your trash within 24-48 hours. Our experience has been they just wait until your next pickup date. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The part I really like is customer service will tell you they have until 7pm to pick up your trash and to just call back if it's not picked up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The kicker is their phones are only answered M-F 8-5 so if not picked up by 5 on Friday you are out of luck until Monday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would highly recommend using a different company if you have any other options. read more

It's no secret to existing cards customers that their service has been terrible lately. We almost walked away just like many others, but decided to stick it out. They did not pick up my trash yesterday (scheduled day) so I called and the operator told me they no longer service my area. This company does not care about the service they provide. They were not consistent about picking up on the scheduled day and sporadically missed picking up for a week at a time. They changed our automatic billing from monthly to quarterly without any warning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all, you can never contact anyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And so, if you need something changed or need to pay your bill in another form besides using the online account that you don't have access to or they have your email wrong or something's not right, they will rack you up on late fees even though you can't get ahold of them and then treat you like shit when you finally do get ahold of them and refuse to waive any late fee because you already had one that was removed because they had your email wrong. Please literally go ANYWHERE else to get your trash service because everyone I have talked to about this place has had negative experiences as well. And YES, they will send you to collection over $20. read more

My trash had not been picked up for the past 2 weeks and when I called customer service and spoke with Brittany on Thursday, she informed me that it would be picked up Friday. I called Friday afternoon and spoke with customer service and was told they were out and would be picked up by this afternoon. I'd give ZERO stars if it were an option. My problems are the same as the others who posted reviews here. Paying for a service that is promised, but never happens. Cards is not operating honestly - borderline fraud. Why not refund $ to folks who paid but did not get what they paid for? Not your 'policy'? Please. In spite of paying for weekly service, I hardly ever get that. Pretty much every week, I have to call to let them know that no one pick up that week. I get promises that someone will be out in 24 hrs and I know they are lying since they won't come out to pick up trash on a Saturday. They charge the wrong amount and the folks at Cards can't figure out how to issue a credit. This company has gotten in over their head. They brag that they are the biggest trash company in the area. Maybe, since they are buying the smaller companies. They are also the worst in customer service. Pretty profitable when you charge for a service you rarely provide. Not right folks. read more

I am giving CARDS a one star only because I'm not allowed to give a zero. CARDS took over our former trash service. Increased our rate trying to charge 3 months in advance to remove trash ! We canceled their service. Our dumpster was picked up 08/09/23. We were paid in full in August/23. We are still receiving bills for a service we no longer have. They threatened to send it to a collection agency. I had called many times explaining we no longer had their service--was told this was resolved. Then 3 days later received a letter from a collection agency ! Called and spoke with supervisor (Brian) was told once again that this would be resolved. We had to send a letter of dispute to the collection agency---for something WE don't owe ! This company is either totally incompetent or is knowingly practicing theft & fraud on a grand scale. This company is TERRIBLE ! Unless you like being lied to & stolen from---run far away from CARDS recycling. read more
