Why do I continue to go here? Convenience, but it's not worth it. Went in for what I thought was strep throat. They did a strep test. It was negative. Looked at my throat and decided to treat me for strep anyway instead of figuring out what it really was. Two days later when the penicillin was doing no good, I had to go back to my regular GP who then diagnosed me with oral thrush and put me on the correct medicine. read more

The front desk staff was helpful and considerate. The overall place is rather dark and gloomy from the waiting room to the patient rooms. I could overlook all of that to have received good doctor care but my experience with the doctor was deplorable. I went in for abdominal issues and was in severe pain and needed several medication as the doctor prescribed. When I left the doctor told me the prescriptions would be at the pharmacy in the next few minutes. I drove to my Pharmacy and spent the next hour working with the CareFirst staff and the pharmacist trying to have the prescriptions sent over. Thecarefirst staff said the doctor was too busy seeing patients to call in my order. Really??? The pharmacy did everything they could to help me but at 6 PM they closed and I was left to go home and wait until the next morning which turned out to be noon by the time CareFirst called everything in. Needless to say I spent a most miserable night. Will not be returning to this carefirst. read more

Terrible company and practices! I worked for CareFirst on 4/3/2023 and 4/17/2023 and was not paid for my services. I demanded the company pay me for my services. I was told to pick up another shift. Why would I pick up another shift when I haven't been paid for the shifts already work? It is ILLEGAL to refuse to pay employees! If you are a provider, don't work for this doctors company. The nurses and staff are welcoming and helpful. I have been several times, and have never had a long wait. I have gone for both myself and my children, and have never been disappointed. Went in to be seen and was greeted by the lady at the front desk who was very nice. She took me back to the room where another woman came in to take my vitals. She was in there for maybe a minute. She literally put the manual blood pressure cuff on my arm and pumped it up a few times then released it without even using a stethoscope to listen for my heart beat to get the blood pressure. Then she rights down a fake one obviously and leaves the room. I can't make this stuff up. Yes it was close to their closing time and I felt bad about that, but that doesn't give anyone the right to give bad care and be short and rude with your patient. Bobbi at the front desk is always cheerful, genuine and willing to go above and beyond. My fiancé and I have had a a few back to back sicknesses hit our household in the the last few months and she was consistent in her care and communication. She always has a smile and a contagious giggle. There was a female (nurse?) with light colored curly hair (don't remember her name unfortunately) that was kind, willing to listen, and overall gentle in her words and actions during the few moments we had together. Lastly the Doctor, Casie (I'll update later if I spelled their names wrong) has pure genuine intentions of giving you time to communicate concerns, questions and potential things to help outside of medicine (such as food suggestions, heating pads, honey teas, etc) she never made us feel rushed or if we were asking too many questions. Cheerful and helpful attitude goes a long way with us. I hope we don't have to go back soon but if we do, we'll happily see these ladies again! Thank you for your kindness and willingness to help us! I really like this place and I've been here a few times. Like what's wrong with you? Probably go here for it. Today, I brought my brother here. Like he was jogging and twisted his ankle. Then he kept jogging. Then he couldn't walk. Like it was so gross, but they did xrays and wrapped it up. Thank god I don't have to look at it again! Plus we were in and out so fast. Like I can use sick leave for family care, but I have a lot of work to do. Whatever. OMG but I've totally washed my hands 100 times. There are some sick people there, so be prepared. The people in the office were great. Very friendly. The business, however, is extremely shady. They billed me for an office visit rather than a Covid test with the intention of me paying a $50 copay. When asked about it they claimed it was a mistake, yet the visit was in December 2020 and they are still fighting me on it. Stephanie in billing does not answer phone calls or emails, or try to help in any way. The office also does not answer the phone or return messages. The external billing has contacted me to fix it, but rather than fixing it they added a new line item stating I went for a Covid test and an office visit. Problem NOT solved. I really enjoy this urgent care. I've been twice now. Once a year or so ago for Bronchitis and recently for the flu. The doctor was the same both times. I didn't catch her name but she was very kind and seems to genuinely care about how I felt and gave me the best options for feeling better and was very helpful with providing a note for my workplace. Having been sick for close to a month and after a trip to the Little Clinic, I found the diagnostic process much more thorough including test for strep, flu, chest X-ray as well as standard clinical exam. Results from the X-ray were relayed in an hour, and all meds sent to Walgreens. I was given an injection of steroid and breathing treatment before I left. This company has some very shady billing practices. Billing for unnecessary tests that are marked up over 500%. The billing department will tell you they don't do business with them and you go round and round in circles or put on hold for infinity. I have made a complaint with my insurance and BBB. Went there today. Place was empty and they were busy playing with there phones. Was seen promptly but that were it ends on the good. Had them call my prescription into Krogers in Amelia. Went there but they hadn't called it in. I called and they said they would have to call it into Anderson pharmacy. Yea why they didn't do it when I was there then drove all the way back up to Anderson and was told it was just called in. Mind u it had been an hour. Then they told me it would be an hour before they could fill it. Learnt my lesson. Don't pay premium price for care in Anderson. Wouldn't go back there. read more

I have been using the services at the beechmont location for years, and have always been satisfied by the staff and professionalism. However, after making several attempts to reach someone at their billing department and corporate offices to get an answer about my bill to no avail, I will never use this center again. This place should be called urgent death I went to the 1 in Delhi for a covid test in August I had really bad symptoms i told the girl I've been taking ibuprofen every 5 hours to keep my fever down she told me that dosent allways reduce fever it took 8 days to get @- result by this time I'm really sick turns out I had sever pneumonia thank god I finally got treatment & recovered I sent them photos of my blue cross blue shield insurance 3 hours before I went in & they told me it was covered 100% no charge. Shady billing, we confirmed our COVID test was covered by our insurance (not the rapid test) and for my family of 5 they put us in a separate room and took our blood pressure - wish we had none to refuse it - since they took our blood pressure they are able to bill each of us for an office visit- which I didn't realize until the bill came 3 weeks later. Waste of time. Went for a simple Covid test on 11/16. 6 days later I still do not have results. Waited an hour and 20 minutes to be seen. Many people left while I was waiting. When I was finally taken back, I noticed four nurses sitting at the nurses station playing on their phones. Finally someone came in to administer the test. A Nurse practitioner came in to ask appropriate questions after. I was then led out and saw the same 4 nurses in the same spot. I counted exactly 13 people in the waiting room and down the stairs. After injuring my foot over a weekend, I needed to find somewhere in-network that was open on a Sunday. I'd imagined a dreary waiting room where I'd sit for hours as I've experienced at other urgent care facilities over the years. Beechmont has a pleasant waiting room and I was addressed by the nurse right away and seen only shortly thereafter. Because I was a gimp, they brought out a wheelchair and took me to a downstairs room so that I'd be close to their X-ray room. The nurse had an awesome sense of humor and quickly took my blood pressure and completed my x-rays. The doctor arrived downstairs just as they were finishing and took a look immediately. I felt well cared for, my injury was addressed and they even gave me follow up instructions on when to come back if my injury doesn't seem to get better. The entire visit took well under an hour. While I hope I don't ever have to go back to an Urgent Care, I will go here if I need to again. read more

They told me before they saw me that they only could give me a referral for general surgery and after I paid for their services I was given a quick check and a referral to a general surgeon, which as I found out soon enough was not good. The urgent care service needed to provide a ref. # in order to be valid and they do not provide such a number. So, bottom line the insurance company gets scammed and I paid the copay for a referral that is worthless!!! This is a worthless urgent care. read more

In today's day & age, medical service is dwindling, it seems like doctors don't care, insurance companies don't care....nobody cares about us, the patients. When I evaluate a medical facility, I look at the following criteria: Waiting time, customer service, staff, doctor, attention to me, the patient, and my needs & of course cleanliness. I am surprised & happy to say, that I have found a medical facility that has surpased in all of my criteria. Waiting time - not even 5 minutes!!!!!! Customer Service - I recieved a greeting with a smile when I walked in. (The smile is very important to me) Staff - All staff pleasant and informative. Doctor - Attentive, good listener, straight to-the-point, very caring & detail-oriented (He addressed every issue I presented to him, without me reminding him! Usually, I have to beg the doctor about advice on "one last thing!" and feel almost guilty that I am keeping the doctor.) This doctor did not make me feel like there was something else more important. He gave me his undivided attention, & that is extremelly rare these days. I very much appreciate his time, medical advice & care. Cleanliness - I am a germaphobe, especially in a medical facility; however, everything was spotless here, & the staff cleaned right in front of me! It was great & made me feel safe. I am giving a poor review after a recent visit to this urgent care. I was a victim of a recent attack and was mugged. I went here because I am from out of town and do not have a family doctor in the area. I needed something to help me sleep. The staff exhibited no concern or empathy. Upon hearing that this has unfortunately been the second time I have been assaulted in my life Dr. Gupta proceeded to say "how has this happened to you twice?? Haven't you tried pepper spray or a taser? You should definitely take a self defense class" he obviously has no bedside manner or knowledge of how to treat someone who has been a victim of a violent crime. I was appauled and didn't feel the need to explain that none of those would have helped me in either instance, that I carry pepper spray, have a taser and took self defense for 10 years. Making someone feel as if they should have done something differently or it was their fault is absolutely appalling and inexcusable, especially for a medical professional. It was even more unfortunate that a student was with him and is supposed to be learning from him. A recommendation: apologize that a patient has gone through a horrific experience, recognize that it is affecting their basic daily functions, hasn't slept in four days from extreme anxiety and provide a healthy dose of active listening to assist the patient. This would have made this a much much better experience. I would not recommend this urgent care. read more
