This place is truly awful. I waited almost 1.5 hours WITH an appointment then finally left as people were waiting over 2 hours and still hadn't been seen. We drove down the road a mile to a nicer urgent care (not run down and better staff) and I will not ever go back to urgent care for kids. Terrible service. Why schedule an appointment if it's not going to be honored!? I arrived on time and was told it's a 2 hour wait for my appointment!!! That is unacceptable. You prioritized walk-ins and not appointments. If this is a "system" issue then it needs to be addressed. I will speak to my pediatrician and tell them not to refer patients to your facility. The faculty was concerned with my tone, but was not clear as to my appointment being honored. I kept trying to clarify and never got a straight response. If you don't understand a parent being upset for their sick child needing to wait another 2 hours, you shouldn't be in a service job. Finally, I was told I would be called and still had to clarify if my room would be held when I returned. Work on your communication skills and clarify your communication. Front desk staff and MAs are quick and friendly, but be prepared to wait. We watched the entire Toy Story movie, and that was after we waited to get called back (and arriving 10 minutes prior to our appointment as instructed). *I understand the wait time when a provider is thorough and spends time with each patient, but he was with us for a total of 30 seconds. I would not recommend this place at all. I would drive an hour to go somewhere else before I would visit this location again. I spent 15 mins filling out forms for my appointment to then be asked all the same questions at check in, that was a bit of an annoyance. However, the terrible part was having an appointment for 2:36 (which I was 20 min early to) to and not being seen by even the nurse until 3:40. Didn't see the doctor until at least 30 minutes after that. All in all I didn't walk out until 5:01, and left before they even splinted his finger because it took so long. Additionally, my son had to tell them they were trying to x-ray the wrong hand. Having worked in a medical office before myself, I'm pretty understanding, but this was awful start to finish. The kicker... they charge you in the first 3 minutes of being there and there is a sign that says refunds won't be handled in house. So literally no choice but to wait to be seen.... An hour later still waiting! When I finally lost it I asked why they have so many appts. available online if they can't keep to their committed time slots. We came in here for a suspected case of Strep Throat. Good fast service. Clean fancy waiting room. Easy check in. Accepted by our insurance. The doctor we got was super friendly and efficient. We've been here many times recently between my two kids and I've just been unimpressed by the quality of care. Keep in mind that it's always either a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant, and unfortunately we have received some questionable advice. When I've been able to follow up with my pediatrician, the recommendations are not the same, and my child does better. Most recently, I brought in my 8 month old, and a male nurse practitioner was extremely rude and snappy. So much so that I pulled my mask down to mouth I don't like this guy to my husband who nodded in agreement. If concerned parents can't kindly ask questions about their child's care without receiving a combative response, then I don't know what the point is. We've had wonderful experiences with doctors at another children's urgent care nearby but it's a farther drive for us. Now I think it's worth the drive over coming back this place if we can help it. read more

My son crashed headlong into a metal door frame and did not win the battle. We got the dreaded phone call from school and quickly assessed our options for treatment of a scalp laceration. I would prefer not to receive months of surprise bills from a nightmarish coalition of bloodsucking money vampires, the traditional hospital ER was a no-go. Also, who wants to sit in the ER waiting room with a possible leprosy case on one side and a guy with a crossbow bolt in his shoulder on the other? We ended up at this location. The waiting room was immaculate. The service was immediate. After a few staples and a tetanus booster, my little dude was on the road to recovery with minimal trauma. Staff was caring and gentle with him! The followup visit to remove staples took all of 5 minutes. I appreciate how easy it was to work with this location. I hope to never, ever return here. But, I would be more than ok to return here if we catch a bad break or illness in the future. read more

Took my oldest son (17 yrs old) here for sore throat, coughing and nausea. They ran a strep test and discussed a few things with me. Strep came back positive and they prescribed antibiotics and some nausea meds. Called them back after 2 days... as his coughing was REALLY bad. They said that he'd have to be re-seen in order to her anything for the cough because there was no mention of the coughing in his chart. :-( He's been coughing so hard he's almost throwing up. I don't have insurance or him (so this visit was $150, plus the cost of prescriptions)... I can't afford to take him back and spend ANOTHER $150... That's the only downside to them, otherwise.. everything was great.. super convenient and friendly. read more

I brought my daughter here for the first time today to get her flu shot. She had a great time... they have a couple toys for kids to play with and the staff are so nice. We'll definitely be coming here again. One thing to note is they don't take insurance, it's personal pay so we paid $20 for the shot, which wasn't bad. read more

Went to take my child there while visiting town. We got in and had to sign in and fill out paperwork. By the time we were done we were able to get in and the RN brought us into the room for check up. The doctor came in several minutes after doing vital checks and he was thorough in making sure what was wrong with my daughters sickness. He explained everything well. The staff was helpful and efficient place to be. Clean and quiet environment for kids to play games or watch TV while waiting. read more

Shouldn't be called an urgent care if they make you schedule an appointment the following day. Once we did get in, we told them about our daughter's symptoms. Although she didn't have the most common Covid symptoms like fever for example, they forced a Covid test on us. They said the Covid test was positive but would not show the test results. They only handed us a piece of paper saying it was positive. We immediately took the whole family to get tested a couple hours later and every single one of us including our daughter was negative for Covid. I'm sad to say that we do not trust this place and will no longer be taking our children here. read more

I just moved here. My son rolled off the bed and I immediately brought him here. Upon check in the receptionist told me there was only one person ahead of me so it would be around 15 minutes. There were THREE people ahead of me so it ended up being over 30 minutes in the waiting room alone. Once we got in a room we waited another 10 minutes or so. The nurse came in and took temp and pulse ox. A weight was never taken. They then took 3 x-rays of his shoulder where I thought he landed and NO WHERE ELSE. No physical exam was performed. No actual doctor ever examined my child. The Physicians Assistant came in and I explained what happened. I also said I think something is wrong with his right arm or his collar bone and that there was swelling there. He felt that one spot. Ordered X-rays of only that one area and confirmed it was broken. He then suggested I consult an orthopedic surgeon. Upon discharge he gave me the disk with the X-rays, a sling that was too large and absolutely no discharge paperwork. He didn't even give advice on Tylenol or Motrin for pain. We were there a total of 50 minutes. 4 hours later I received a call from a Puerto Rico number. I ignored it. I listened to the voicemail which was the PA telling me a radiologist reviewed the X-rays and suggested I go to Dell Children's Hospital. I asked why and he just said because of the impact of the fall. The following day they called me 3 more times and told me I need to go to Dell Children's Hospital immediately because of where the break is. The woman who called said his bone could hit an artery. I said I am consulting with my pediatrician who is currently contacting you for your radiology report and X-rays. The woman from urgent care said "Why do you need to consult your pediatrician? To see if you should take him in to Dell." I said "Yes. He also specializes in pediatric orthopedics so I would like his opinion before making such a drastic move." She said "I'll just call him." Approximately 20 minutes later my pediatrician called me back and said he reviewed everything. I don't need to take him to Dell...just to bring him in tomorrow morning for an actual complete examination and go to my appointment I had already scheduled with the orthopedic specialist. I did so. Both pedi and ortho did full exams and confirmed he was fine other than the broken clavicle and it will heal on its own just fine in 2-3 weeks. So when leaving the doctors office today I got a call from CPS. The investigator met me there and followed me home saying he needed to see my home immediately. I let him in. He went through my entire house, even opened cabinets and took photos. Interviewed me along with my older two children. (My husband is out of town.) 3 HOURS LATER he says the reason is because he needed to confirm that I didn't receive instructions to take my baby to Dell for a full body X-ray then refuse. A full body X-Ray was NEVER mentioned prior to this and I didn't refuse to take him to Dell. I got a second opinion from an actual doctor who sees my son regularly and followed his advice. To say it was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE doesn't even start to describe it. DO NOT USE THIS URGENT CARE!!! read more

DISHONEST fees for COVID testing...when we got our family tested for COVID we came here because they said it was 100% covered by our insurance. We did curbside testing. Little did we know that they deceptively make you check lots of boxes indicating that you might be responsible for additional fees (of which they don't fully inform you about when you come in). Months later we received a random bill for $50 per person (for random lab fees). suddenly my fully-covered COVID test has become a $200 test for my family. When I contested this with them and through my insurance they said it was for fees for the protective gear and setting up their testing center. By "setting up" this means them blocking the door and coming out to your car with a face mask. This is just another profiteering private urgent care facility taking advantage of the pandemic to bill customers outrageous sums to reap more profits. We were never fully informed about these fees or the amount, otherwise we would have rejected it. All the checking boxes and signing disclosures is a way to get around this since most ppl don't carefully check the fine print and they don't upfront tell you about these extras fees. If this has happened to you I suggest you contact your insurance company and file a complaint against them. I will never be taking my kids there, nor will I ever recommend this place. read more

Our son was having symptoms that were similar to an asthma attack, (labored breathing, headache, nausea) so we brought him in to be checked out. They treated him with the usual medications for asthma and did a COVID test to just be case. Something just didn't feel right, but we took him home treated the labored breathing and kept him rested. Fast forward a few hours, and his symptoms were even worse so we took him to the ER. He was quickly diagnosed and transported to Children's medical for DKA- Diabetic Keto Acidosis. We learned quickly this was the onset of being diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic. As new parents to a disease we knew nothing about, and not being educated on the symptoms for DKA, it never occurred to us that he had something much more serious. The Dr. at this urgent care completely missed this diagnosis and signs presented to them. Bad on us for not going to the ER, but as a Children's specific urgent care I would expect more out of them to be aware of all symptoms. Looking back it seems they just treated asthma attack ( which he didn't even have) and rushed us in and out. Needless to say, we will not be using their services again. read more

My son was directed by our insurance provider to this clinic back in August due to a severe headache he was screaming and crying over. It turned out to be nothing serious, but we wanted him seen to make sure. Fast forward to today, 5 months later... and I just received a bill for the full amount! I was about to call our insurance provider and get upset with them for not paying, but decided to check our statements first. URGENT CARE FOR KIDS NEVER SUBMITTED TO INSURANCE FOR PAYMENT! I called the clinic and left a message telling them if they wanted their money, they better do their job and submit it to insurance! What kind of screwed up system is going on here? Took my son in for a Covid test in early July and was charged $110.00. When I received my EOB from insurance it said claim was paid on 8/9 at 100%. We took our 3 year old in last night after she had been avoiding use of her left arm most of the day. We had called our PCP earlier in the day, and he had suggested I look up nursemaid's elbow, and try to pop her elbow back into place, but I tried a couple of times, and all I caused was a lot of tears in my poor baby. We walked in and were greeted with a smile - they quickly got us set up with paperwork, and even asked if I knew whether or not I had met my insurance deductible for the year - which I had, although apparently all of the charges hadn't been processed yet, so they saved me a TON of headache of having to go back and request credits later. The nurse and physician's assistant were so gentle and sweet with our daughter, and she was laughing and happy the entire time we were there. The nurse initially thought she may have some type of fracture in her wrist, but when the PA came in she wanted to try popping her elbow back in first (as our PCP thought might be the case). Her elbow popped, and she was pain free within minutes! In and out in about 30 minutes, and so happy they were able to quickly and easily free our daughter from pain! read more

Quick, efficient, good customer service skills and the clinic is nice and clean. I appreciate everyone who really works there and enjoys the kids. This urgent care facility billed me for another patient who required an arm sling. My daughter went in for an ear infection and all her records show this, but they are charging us for an arm sling. I've talked to multiple managers and they have agreed the billing was incorrect but it's been billed so I have to pay it. I asked them to work with their billing team and bill it to the appropriate patient. Finally they agreed. Later I receive a letter from a law office collecting the bill. I've called the law office who shows on record I was seen for an ear infection and they can't do anything talk to the medical facility. I have disputed this multiple times and drove to the facility to give her all the paperwork. 3 years later I still am getting an attorney letter. Make sure you are getting billed correctly. Unfortunate you have to read every detail of what your singing during a chaotic night to make sure someone is doing their job correctly. Going to the urgent care is already a bummer. read more

We've been here about 6 times, seems like my little ones like to get sick on the weekends or holidays! The hours are great, so far we've seen many different Dr's here but all have been great with out little ones. They have TVs, toys, tablets and stuff to keep them occupied while you wait. My ONLY issue I've ever had with this facility is the billing. They submitted my insurance to the wrong insurance provider, then charged my credit card as a self pay 3 months after the service. When i found this out i had to dispute this charge with the facility, submit the claim myself to insurance to get a refund and they took 6 months to refund me the $300! So bring your sick ones here but just watch the insurance and billings for your services! Side note- i work in the health insurance field so i knew the $300 charge was incorrect, without this knowledge i might not have disputed anything so i highly recommend verifing your bills with your insurance providers before or after your dr service. read more
