I've scheduled my daughter for her sports physical here now for the 2nd year. The same front desk associate helped me out on both of our visits. He's gone above and beyond to answer any questions I have, to help fill out forms and get us scheduled. The medical staff has also been great. The appointment wait time our second time around was a little longer than the first but still decent for an urgent care. It was a same day scheduling the 2nd time around. I've taken both kids here couple times and am happy with the quality of care. The staff is nice and hospitable. We are offered water and snacks when it takes awhile. Sometimes it is a quick visit. It just depends on how many patients they have at the time. I do appreciate that no matter what they will stay and patiently answery questions or even when hearing my kids share their symptoms. After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant to take my kids here but after hearing a personal account from a friend I decided to give them a try and so glad I did! Very rude and unhelpful/y knowledgeable doctors. First time we went there they recommended (upsold) an X-ray and then prescribed an antibiotic for my 18 month old. Then another Dr called the next day and stated I don't know why the other Dr told me that, if anything she needs a steroid and to NOT take the antibiotic prescribed the previous night. I was able to check in on line before we ever even left the house. When we looked it up it gave several options for appointment times. That was great! Basically we got there checked in and walked right back... no waiting room wait! The place is very clean people are nice and for an urgent care they were pretty quick. They might actually get the meaning of urgent in the name unlike a lot of places I've been. The nurse came in took my sons vitals, asked a few questions, swabbed my boys throat, and said the doc would be right in. Normally this would be the point where we sit in limbo... for a long time. We actually waited hardly at all and the doctor came in... and she really was sweet! She joked with my son and had a great bed side manor. In the end... my boy has strep! Got the scrip, a doc note for School and we were out of there, all in about 30 mins... AMAZING! Took my 1 year old here and they diagnosed her completely wrong. Said she had spots on her hands and feet to predict she had HMT, and a ear infection ... I was not convinced. Went to my original doctor to get a opinion the next day. Because she did not have any spots on her hands and feet. He was wrong. I didn't want to sit and argue though. She has a viral skin rash, and no ear infection. Completely diagnosed her wrong here. I'm not sure of the doctors name he was male, wore glasses and late 30s. After waiting about 2 hours in person, I requested a virtual visit, after the virtual visit I went to get prescription about an hour later. Couldn't get it. Couldn't get in contact with clinic. I was super stressed trying to find Covid tests for my husband and family. Their app is very helpful but I needed more assistance to make their appointments at the same time. When I called, the friendly front staff woman eased my stressed and helped me solve my scheduling problem and made me feel so much better! Then when we arrived my daughter wouldn't go inside (not feeling well) so they said they could adjust and do a tele medicine if it would help her. Eventually she felt comfortable and came in and the staff was friendly, made us feel comfortable, efficient and my daughter got to choose a duck which made her day! Thank you for being open, thank you for making it easy and most of all thank you for caring. Sunday night at 8pm and our 8 weeks old eye started swelling shut. Who wants to go to the ER on a Sunday night? No one! Urgent Care to the rescue and I was shocked they were still open. The front desk woman was super helpful! Even saw that I posted a pharmacy that was closed and chimed in to tell me that if I needed an Rx to go the Walgreens on Pecan. The nurse was then super kind, even offered to carry my car seat/purse. Doctor came in super quick and was amazing with her. She was screaming all night for me but of course was nothing but smiles for him. Overall it was a quick and easy visit with a wonderful staff. I came to the doctor and the appointment was at 4:30. I'm sitting here righting this at 6:00 I've been waiting for 2 hours!! When we tried to get a refund it takes 5 days for them to refund you back. Some stupid "policy" being so busy and taking care of everyone else before us, and the lady at the front just brushed it off so stupidly and said "I'm so sorry " like I've been waiting for 2 hours hurry up and see me. It was just something that could take like 10-15 minutes. Now it's gonna be so long. I'm sitting here writing this review of a stupid place. They have 3 rooms before they see me. Also when we asked for a refund there was a line of 10 people also waiting so who knows if we'll get skipped or not. Negative, Very rude staff and a filthy place. Avoid if at all possible. Their billing and insurance policy is confusing and they can't explain it. I had to call my insurance company to get the details and explanation. They bill you the maximum they can up front then once they submit the claim to insurance they refund you. They also have 12 months to submit the claim. I'll have to monitor this and ensure they refunded the overpayment that they demanded up front. If they don't submit the claim timely there is a risk I my not catch the double billing. Thisis my first time here so we'll see if that try to double bill like many other care providers. Watch out for shady billing practices and rude unknowledgeable staff. Positive: One person was nice, the nurse. read more

Impressed. We went in last night around 8 with our 7 month old. He was coughing, wheezing, had a runny nose and had refused milk for hours and hours. We were worried. They saw us quickly, the place was spotless, they had some activities set up for kids/siblings to play with while they waited to be seen (though we had no wait), they had 2 screens set up with children's movies (we didn't watch anything but it was nice to have for kids). The doctor, Dr. Vu Nguyen was AMAZING. Like I would love for him to be our Pediatrician kind of fantastic (We love our Pediatrician - I'm just saying, he was that good!). He took his time, answered all sorts of questions, drew us pictures of what was going on, checked in on us 3 different times and just cared. You could tell he was a doctor because he cared about kids. When we left, he could have just gone back to his office, but he took our older son to the front and talked to him and they picked out a sticker together. I hope our kids don't get sick anytime soon but I am so grateful that this place is here if they do. Before I could even finish my review, they called to check on the baby. Bonus points! read more

These people, I have had to receive 3 Covid tests in the past about 3 weeks and every single time I have been there the people are amazing and always have a smile on there face ! Like the other reviews stated, shady billing practices. Billed me $200 even though when I was paying the authorization was for $50. Emailed and called and no one has contacted me. The nurse had to do the strep test on my 3 year old twice cause she didn't get it the first try which is super annoying. Like he's honestly screaming and giving you his throat very openly. Doctor was nice. No issues with check in or doctors care but the fact we had to torture my child twice for just lack of paying attention is unacceptable. He already didn't feel good. Maybe she should pay attention to detail especially when the test isn't very comfortable. Spent several hours waiting to get a prescription filled that turned out to be a over the counter medication. My son has been sick coughing all night long and I needed cough medicine for him. Turns out this clinic will not prescribe any type of cough medicine for children other than over the counter medicine. I do not appreciate them telling me that it was a prescription medication and it was not. I explained to the physician assistant that that's what I need it for my son and was given the run around. Went to this urgent Care first and last time! It was emergency my daughter was in pain. The stuff was rude I understand it was late night but none the less it is my child be more attentive friendly. Very rude very rushing. They said they were not sure what was it and on the top of it they told us that her I surance wasn't working "at the moment" ...hmmmm...so they charged us the full price for a visit. My insurance just sent me benefits explaining that visit and it says I was only charged 25$ the copay! Where did the rest of my money went no one knows. I was so frustrated and tired that evening. We have nothing but great things to say about this place! The front desk staff has always been friendly and courteous as well as the nurse that has taken us back. We've been here a couple times now and have seen Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Greer. I wish Dr. Nguyen had a family practice because he was so great with our toddler. You can tell he is one of those doctors who really enjoys what he does. At least that's what comes across... ;-) Dr. Greer was also great with our son, quick and to the point. My daughter, started complaining of pain in her right ear late on a Sunday night. Since she has a history of ear infections and currently has tubes in her ears I normally don't delay in seeking treatment for her. Our normal place for these little mini emergencies is Minute Clinic inside of CVS Pharmacy, but it was about ten minutes until they closed, so rather than wait until Monday I brought her to Urgent Care Kids. Although the staff, was quick and professional their lack of follow up was frustrating. The doctor on staff swabbed my daughters ear informed us he would have results in a "couple" of days. Being it was Sunday night I figured we would hear something by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. He prescribed her antibiotic ear drops and we were on our way. Fast forward to Wednesday, still had not heard back, so I called and they still had not received results, Thursday came and went and nothing, finally followed up with them on Friday again and they had the results, but had failed to call and notify me of what was discovered and wether or not additional oral antibiotics would be prescribed. I have never had to follow up with any of her physicians before, and it was frustrating to say the least to continually have to do so with these folks. I could have waited until Monday, taken her to her regular pediatrician and had results the same day. I probably won't use them again unless I absolutely have no other choice. read more

I had called at 8:40pm not realizing what time they closed at (9pm) but Vanesa who was working the front desk was wonderful! I only lived about 6 minutes away from this location so I was able to get there before they closed but as soon as I got there, we checked in, she went ahead and sent us back. They ran the tests right away for strep and flu, saw the doctor after that, and we were done with like 10-15 minutes. To be honest, it was nice to be able to run in, be seen and be done. I took our four and a half month old baby in around 6:30 last night with a persistent cough, red/puffy eyes and major congestion... suspecting maybe pink eye plus something else. I was the only one in the waiting room...which was very clean, modern, and quiet (except for the multiple flat screen TVs playing Sleeping Beauty, which I was completely fine with). The staff (front desk and nurses) was very friendly and seemed to actually like their job. The physician, Dr. Nguyen was very thorough in his exam and did an awesome job answering all of the questions that both me and my husband (who talked to him via phone) had. He also told us we could call him anytime if we had additional questions or if other symptoms arose. He seemed to really know what he was doing. A nurse called me this morning to check on how my daughter was doing. Then called again after I was off of work to let me know that her test results (which they said could take a week) were already back. Two phone calls to check on her in less than 24 hours? Pretty impressive. In all honesty, the health care industry is pretty much always a disappointment so I wasn't very optimistic about my trip in. But I was very impressed and only wish that there were more places like this. Also, kudos to whoever finally got smart and created an urgent care specifically for kids... saving me from a really unnecessary (And long. And expensive.) trip to the ER. I would definitely recommend this center if you have an urgent need for your little one. It'll be my go-to in the future. read more

However every time we take our kids there and get a prescription they say they send it over to the pharmacy we use and EVERY TIME we get to the pharmacy they never have it. Just popped in to get flu shots for the whole family. My 5 and 3 year olds turned into demons once we got into the exam room. They acted like it was an exorcism. Fortunately Katy (or maybe Katie) was so patient and understanding with them. Despite this insane episode we were in and out in under half an hour including having to register ourselves as patients.
