The staff is not engaged too busy playing on their phones vs. attending to patients. When my mother was released she did not have her cell phone. I have the find my app and it showed it was still at Care One. I was away until the day after she was transferred only to find that the phone was shut off or died from not being charged so I was unable to go there and follow the signal. I called and asked for it to be located. Twice with messages for the head of nursing. They did not have the respect to return my call. Very disappointing!

My husband and I moved my mom (Mercedes) into Brandywine in August of 2019 and everyone at Brandywine made mom feel so at home. She was very happy living at Brandywine and she built a lot of great relationships. But more importantly, several months after mom's move into the she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Mom was placed in their hospice program which was exceptional. The nurses, aides and management were so attentive and cared for her in such a loving way. It could very well be the BEST in this country. There is a full time Internist, full time Nurse practitioner and Psychological therapist on site in the clinic. The podiatrist, hearing aide specialist and dentist come regularly to the clinic also. The residents can make appts like a typical doctors office.There is also a staff Physical Therapist. There are the usual amenities: gyms, library, art, heated indoor swimming pool, exercise classes all day M-F, as well as multiple clubs, meetings, dance classes, drama classes, lectures, and movies, and entertainment throughout the day. There are trips to Philadelphia to see the theater and other trips for a variety of local and Philadelphia attractions. Live Music of all kinds comes in for evening entertainment. There are ongoing resident committees where continual suggestions are discussed and positive changes made. There is a chapel on site with a full time Chaplain The dining room is lovely with delicious and wide variety of foods and often family comes to eat with the residents. It is a restaurant experience. Many of the foods are prepared from scratch on site. There is also a cafe as well for meals The entire staff is caring and attentive. The cleanliness is immaculate.

I was told she would get PT three to four times a week. Despite the fact that there's a physical therapy room, it's always empty every time I visit. My mother did not recieve any PT at all. She was put back on a drug that she had been taken off of months ago for a bad reaction she had to it. She doesn't drink anything and eats very little because she knows she will sit in a dirty diaper all day if she does. She has significantly deteriorated from being able to walk and use stairs with assistance when she arrived to not even being able to stand now. I paid 2,500 for her to sit in a bed for ten days and deteriorate. When I call and try to speak to anyone at this facility I get a machine saying their mailbox is full. When I go in person every office door I knock on is locked and nobody answers. I have hired a lawyer and I will reporting this facility to the state for neglect.

The Arbor staff jumped at the opportunity to organize the best dance party ever. From and amazing band, to snacks for everyone, my mother danced the entire time. With her limited mobility, the PT's were there to support her as she danced to her favorite songs. The most amazing part of this event was that her family was included. Her children got to see her living it up!!! My mother's smile never left her face, and that was all because of the wonderful staff at Arbor Terrace Mt.Laurel. My mother danced with all the staff members and her resident friends. I was overwhelmed with all the love she received today!!! Thank you EVERYONE!!!
