Arden Courts of Cherry Hill did a fantastic job of taking care of my mother for a 4 years period…read morebetween 2019 and 2023. My mother had failed to adapt to another facility and Arden turned out to be the perfect place for her. During my time there I met many other families in similar situations where other facilities had been unable to "handle" their loved ones, but Arden always had the magic touch. From a day to day perspective the care was superb, the food was good and the activities were varied and covered a wide range of ability levels. Unlike other nearby "luxury" facilities, Arden focuses on what the residents actually need and not what looks nice to the families. The residents who are mobile have free run of the facility and access to outdoors weather permitting. Use of a resident's room are limited as much as possible to keep them engaged in social activities. The professional staff were all top notch, with the facility director and nursing staff worthy of particular praise for both their everyday professionalism and going above and beyond when needed. Also worthy of note is that Arden Courts avoids requiring costly additional 1-on-1 care and will only send residents to the hospital when absolutely necessary. If a resident does end up at the hospital, it is literally located across the street minimizing the need for transport. Arden Courts is currently under the umbrella of a non-profit so as far as I am aware there is no private equity firm behind the curtain pushing to drive down costs. The Cherry Hill facility in particular is also very supportive of family members with access to numerous eat in/cook out activities, parties and field trips. At the end of my mother's journey they offered ample time to wrap up her room and have an open door policy for said family members to return interact with any persons they may have bonded with. Arden Courts of Cherry Hill 5/5, 10/10, 100% would recommend to a friend or family.

She was so very happy there. From the Maintenance man Louis (who also loves and cares for the residents as family), to the aides, nurses, and administrators the care was phenomenal! They give each resident individualized care, and in my mother in laws death they had beautiful music playing and were all loving on her as if it was their own family. I cant say enough about this beautiful place. We will miss them all so much!

She should not be working at St ""Mary's as she is lazy and negligent. Below is her email booking me for June 12 which she canceled one hour before I was to do my lecture in N.J. She is a fraud. Within a week he was hospitalized (1) with another flu ... which I contracted also from being there. When he returned after a week in the hospital they slapped a diaper on him and would not take him to the bathroom, even though he kept asking to go. There are no potty chairs, no urinals, no bed pans. In fact there was no Tylenol in the bldg when he spiked a fever of 102 and he went out to the hospital again (2) with impacted bowel . Then he returned only to be hospitalized again a week later for aspiration (3} He returned on a Friday and I stayed with him until Sunday night. Come Monday morning hospitalized again for aspiration. In 6 weeks and 4 hospitalizations he went from walking, talking, dressing, showering, feeding himself to a bedridden guy being fed pureed food. They missed his seizure medication an entire weekend because they ran out, I watched as an aid took his diaper off and with the same gloves on put his oxygen in his nose....and this was one of their supposed "good" ones. No one there cares. The Dr there wants everyone on morphine. They place is so filthy your sneakers stick to the floor. And if that wasn't enough, they stole all his belongings while out at the hospital. He's in a place now that is clean, the floors and windows are washed every day, the rooms are large and bright with thermostats that actually work..... hand sanitizer mounted on the wall outside every room as well as gloves. There's potty chair as well as raise toilet in every bathroom. He's eating regular food and if you want anything you can pick up the phone and order it and they bring it to your room. His vitals are taken every morning. He's checked on constantly. I wish I had brought him here first!!
