I downloaded the app but when it came time to fill in some information, it would not let me go further. I tried a few times at home with no luck. The message told me to visit the library for help. Once at the library, I got my device ready with the app and sought assistance. Staff were very nice and helpful. Staff checked my card which was current. I showed her what I was doing which was correct. I told her I would try one more time to check in. As luck would have it, this time the app came to life and everything worked. We both laughed and I said I guess she needed to be present before the app worked. I have already used the new app and am very pleased. Now I will attempt to add it to my Firestick. Having the app on my device will be nice for travel times. They have their own parking lot and WiFi in the building.

It's a great place to escape the heat in general as are all libraries, but this one is in a residential neighborhood and is pretty quiet. It's got a little bit of everything you need with a bright and colorful kids section, lots of book stacks for grown ups, a respectable friends of the library book sale area, and even a little sitting area in the back of the library near the children's section for little ones to go out to and play outdoors under the covered patio which is pretty nice! I imagine it'd be ok to feed little ones some snacks or a quick meal out there also since it's outdoors. Sometimes kids just need to refuel. As far as the staff, they're friendly and helpful. They offer my kids a couple of bookmarks and also these certificates to go to Raising Cane's for a free kids meals for reading books, so my kids were quite happy and surprised that their recreational reading paid off! They were also delighted to find there's so many books they don't find in our own libraries so while we can't check these out, they enjoyed reading them there. Finally, there's a lot of programs offered through this library for all ages from educational to more entertainment/movies type events. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here and maybe we'll be back next time we're in the area visiting friends.
