I went to have a Covid test done today and once I signed into the portal to get results saw that they had mixed up some of my information with someone else. I tried calling and telling them that it was not right and that I was uncomfortable with any test results as I don't know if my test had gotten mixed up with that of the person who's information was combined with mine. The girl that answered said since she had my email address it would be fine and that it SHOULD be my test. I paid $177 for a test that I don't know is truly mine. I've visited this location a few times and each time I've always did the web check in so I'm in and out relatively quick. The only time I really had a issue was when they required that I had to pay a hefty copay although I kept advising the lady that I had met my deductible and out of pocket for the year. I ended up paying anyway and then a month later received 4 reimbursement checks in the mail for copays that I had paid from that day all the way back to copays I had pay in 2008... seriously the only issue I have with Carenow is that they need to get an updated insurance verification system cause they seem to swindle money out of people unnecessarily. read more

I can't say enough good things about Care Now and this particular location. I have been there several times since it opened, and the staff are all friendly, empathetic and extremely professional. I have seen the same doctor each time because the are not floaters, rather they work there full-time, which is so nice! Dr. Sajan and her staff took all of the time that I needed with them, I never felt rushed and always with a positive result. If you ever need immediate care, this is far better than an E.R., and not as costly of a copay, not to mention cleaner and faster! Where should I start? Well first off my girlfriend left a 1 star review and they deleted it so let's see if they delete this one. My girlfriend went in for an ABNORMAL lupus outbreak. Her baseline symptoms were all normal for someone with lupus but much higher pain than previously experienced. After having the doctor tell us she has lupus () they claims to have done blood work and other test with all "normal levels", prescribed her 2 medicines one of which made her worse and the other something she didn't need and sent us on our way. They claimed to not have someone on staff who could explain the results of some test done to her for almost 8 hours, that's absurd. My girlfriend had to get another doctor to request the results, only to find out that her levels were NOT all normal. That should have been disclosed so we could have planned accordingly. This was unprofessional overall and a bigger stressor. Oh and the Sandra's hoe ass... we'll be glad I don't call you a bitch like I want to. read more

I came in with severe pain, I was told I did not have a bladder infection although I was bleeding heavily from my urethra , and was told to just give it a few days. I felt so horrible and the pain became much worse with me calling them multiple times and getting shot down everytime, After several hours when I couldn't stand it any longer , I went to another urgent care (Baylor) sure enough I DID IN FACT have an infection and was prescribed antibiotics right away. The doctor was glad that i went against what the CareNow doctor told me to do and now I'm feeling a lot better, I wish I had skipped CareNow all together, they are a total waste of money and DO NOT care about your health. They are okay, I mean first of all, they need to have a nice lady on the front desk because Megan is not a front desk lady, with less Attitude, less bitchy mood, and a little bit nice. Pretty sure the unidentifed helium gas tank in our operatory is suppose to be signed for notification to the public that there is an oxygen tank stored in this room, and I'm pretty sure its suppose to be either locked up or chained up so that no one can push it down. I'm in operatory 10 where there are free weights on the sink top, and a free standing oxygen tank in our room with a step stool. The longer I have to wait here the more upset I'm getting about these health violations. read more

We procrastinated on getting our physical for high school. Yet, the wait was quick, the staff was pleasant and the office was cleàn!

Amazingly great experience 3/2/19 under scary circumstances. In less the 12 hours my son had went from happy playful boy, to lethargic and tired with fevers barely sustained by over the counter meds. (This lovely urgent care has seen my son and I 3 times over the last 6 weeks)! The nurse quickly noticed his condition and the doctor assessed him immediately. As a team they addressed his rising temperatures so effectively, professionally and respectfully. It has been a long time since I seen medical care/treatment be so considerate, patient, effective and understanding. I will forever remember this experience as I honestly feel their quick thinking and natural abilities to listen to patients TRULY saved my son's life today. Thank you guys for being a great time. There is a Care Now closer to our house than this one however, we specifically choose to go to this location off of Horne St. which is further away because simply put...they are amazing. My family has been there twice and the staff posses a unique amalgamation of professionalism and sympathy that is authentic. It's been my experience that most "A Doc In The Box" places make you feel like you are just another number and not a person with a genuine ailment...that is not the case with this Care Now. They actually do care & my family will continue to go out of our way to travel to go to the Care Now off of Horne St. when we are seeking medical attention. I have never had a bad experience at this location, but I normally go here only for sinus congestion/infections when I can't get into the see my primary care physician. The facility is always clean and welcoming, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Web check-in is convenient, and I've waited only 5-15 minutes - at most - after arriving at the clinic to be called back to a room. Every provider I have seen has listened to my description of my symptoms and has done a thorough exam. They don't push unneeded tests or antibiotics, and they listen to what has worked best for me in the past and take into consideration my work schedule when prescribing medications. I've had to follow up with another doctor only once, but that was for a recurring infection. read more

These folks were very unhelpful in giving out a reasonable doctor excuse to help me with a short term disablilty insurance claim. This did not cause a problem with my work, but did with my insurance company which requires everything done to a "T". This will effectively remove eight days of when i was sick from the claim, thus negating it. Should have used my primary care doc who would have worked with me in handling the insurance. read more

I was recently seen at Carenow by Arlington Heights for a cat bite. If I could score this visit differently I would, 4 starts for the web check-in, which was a great because I didn't have to sit in a lobby with other sick people. I received a call advising me that it was my time to show up, which I did. 5 stars for being greeted by a nice young lady, Laurie. She noticed I had a cut, some blood on a bandage and she took me back almost immediately. She was extremely friendly and helpful. 4 stars for Dr. Sajan which explained everything about how cat bites can become infected very quickly, the tech/RN/MA came in to clean my bite and I was given a prescription and out the door. 5 stars for the follow up call by the same young lady that greeted me. I had a wonderful experience at the Care Now on Horne. I am pretty current on going to see my GP on a regular basis, but my doctor's office was closed. My husband did the web check in for me. Within 30 min I received a call to come in. When I arrived, they saw me within about 5 minutes. The receptionist, nurses and Dr. Ndri were all very thorough and able to appropriately diagnose me immediately. I was even able to get a chest X-ray taken AND read right away. I have visited Care Now facilities many times. Always received a high quality of care. Not this time. Dr. B, in my opinion should not be practicing at Care Now, he not only could not properly identify my issues but he also cost me a great deal of time and trouble. I used web check in but they weren't too busy. I got in right away as soon as I showed up didn't even have time to fill out the paperwork which I did later. The nurse was extremely friendly took her time and seemed to genuinely care and was very thorough. The doctor was the same way. She did not rush she listened to my symptoms and concerns and checked things out for me that I didn't initially go in for . Wanted me to follow up in two weeks and I got my meds. Was in and out in a little over 30-40min. Next day I had a bad reaction to the antibiotics I received and they quickly got back with me and called in a new prescription to my pharmacy. The facility is fairly new so everything was clean and nice . A tv in the waiting room which I was even given the remote to change the channel. Great experience with this office . Might be different when they are busier. But I would def go back to this location . read more
